To be honest, I prefer Join Us largely because the more subdued grandioseness is more suitable for the majority of characters you recruit. I would gladly hear a triumphant rendition of With Us when recruiting someone like Xavier or Nino, where the act of doing so is impressive, but if it's someone as simple as a Navarre-expy, Join Us feels more appropriate.

@Anacybele I'd honestly rank it second behind my actual vote (Join Us). It's nice and grandiose, and has a hint of success when you successfully nab a potentially tricky unit. And to be honest, considering the general level of attention I payed the music when I first played Smash and my first experience with Fire Emblem being Tellius, it might actually be my first recruitment song.

I don't pretend to have anywhere close to the capacity to pass judgement on Cordelia, having made neither head nor tail of what little of Awakening I've seen. However, theorycrafting a pegasus team shows that Cordelia has access to Axebreaker and Bowbreaker, making her a key unit when at a disadvantage. I mean, Severa can do the job just as well, if not better, but that's a rare combination that earns my approval. It's also rather easy to set up on these two.

Raoureaver might bring greens into prominence, Blareaver might push them into the shadows. Gronnreaver awaits the verdict of the prior observation. At any rate, it'll make choosing the unit to send into a batch of enemies trickier, and make teambuilding an odd bundle. Imagine choosing whether you want your unit to have a reaver or not in terms of their companion's abilities to pick up the slack.

Relatively simple, even if trying to distinguish all the themes is less so. What's your favourite song when gaining a new ally? Remixes are grouped for the sake of convenience. I'm fairly sure Hoshido and Nohr's recruitment themes aren't the same but with different instruments...

Did we get a date on the miscellaneous updates? (Repositioning, stamina up, the third thing I was no doubt excited about at the time). I'd like not to be blindsided when it comes out.

I kinda want to make one of those for that 'top eight in the CYL' thing to try and construct something resembling a 'fair' bracket. I'll just need to find the necessary images.

Enemy Control Glitch. In Sacred Stones, a branch of it allows everyone (except possibly Myrrh) to learn Dark Magic by using the Stone weapon.

If I had an ear for lyrical composition, I'd compose an actual cheer for Minerva. Instead, all I've got is a war chant that has a vaguely amusing pun (Minerva or bust!).

It is a chance worth taking.

...Here's another question: is it possible for the developers to choose another Voting Gauntlet with such a clear victor again? I can't think of a theme amongst the other high-ranking CYL characters that would take one, and exactly one, of them.

@Anacybele Join Minerva anyway. We're mostly pegasus, and a knight of justice with a massive hammer will never go amiss.

...Serious question: if Subaki upset Minerva, would we rally around him instead or go "Screw This, I'm Outta Here"?

You know, even though it doesn't seem likely due to chance, I wonder if anyone's has beaten (or ever will beat) a Grand Hero map using only the banner characters. For example, beating this one with Caeda/Sophia/Effie/Kagero.
