I haven't had success due to poor choices in red unit (and maybe Effie could use reconsideration), so I still haven't quite made it. A question, then: Robin (M) with his superior defence, or Robin (F) with her superior attack? Both have the appropriate -raven spell, though only the former has managed Triangle Adept. (And considering how little SP she has, I don't think Robin (F) will ever get that without promotion).

Desperation is basically your counterattack given Vantage. Brash Assault gives an automatic counterattack where one might not exist. Desperation does not stack with Vantage.

I did some more summons in the Pegasus banner, drawing only the blues and greens (only colours I skipped were two colourless). Got assorted 3* and 4*, including a 4* Cherche and only a 3* Shanna (it WAS the pegasus banner...), but the real meat was a 5* Merric. Where are all these 5*s coming from?

"Little brother, it is dishonourable to raise your bow in a competition amongst pegasi." (...I'll be packing Ryoma, especially in the final round where I know the enemy'll have axes. Before that, a Robin).

Well, now I'm definitely going with Gronraven+. I think the spare Cecilia I have will help that decision. Desire to collect all pegasi or desire to shore up my team? That's a dilemma. I'll see what turns up.

Ah. So now it's just a matter of "Do I promote Robin (F) to five stars or do I give her Gronraven+"? I'm also going to need to procure a Triangle Adept for her somewhere.

As one other consideration: I've got a 3* Henry (+Def -Atk) as well as a 4* Raigh (+1, Level 17 so I can't check his nature) and a 4* Tharja (+Atk -HP). Do any of these potential Raouraven users seem like a good substitute? Since enemy greens aren't as common in the arena, Raouraven users shouldn't have to worry about getting sidetracked as much (one of the reasons I'm getting a little annoyed with using Robin (M) for the job- he does it too well, such that I need him everywhere).

Well, since my Robin (M) has -Atk, I'd imagine Robin (F) would be a slightly more frail yet slightly stronger counter. Probably not worth sacrificing Robin (M)'s Triangle Adept to, but if another one comes up... Can 4* Robin (F) inherit Gronraven+? Because I have a Cecilia at +1 and I could make her +2, if I thought it worthwhile. It would mean losing Cecilia and all of her other skill options, though... and also the chance to make anyone other than Ryoma, Fae and Effie 5* for a long time. (Especially since that comes from Robin (F)'s green badge pile). EDIT: So remove the italics from slightly above and Robin (F) is a colourless-counter who has different colours to counter outside of that (Robin (M) has to deal with the omnipresent reds, while Robin (F) has to deal with the slightly rarer blues).

How's Robin (F) as an anti-colourless unit (when given Gronraven, of course)? I've been using Robin (M) for that purpose, and since he's +Def, he's done it well. But if I want to replace Robin (M)'s position as my Blue Unit (say, with Effie) to better handle the red units, could Robin (F) take his place?

A Vantage and...something to do with Speed? I wonder who I'll be winding up sacrificing one of him to... Also, Ryoma, Effie and Lissa look like they'll be having fun. Lissa because Lissa, and Effie because giant tank. I don't know who'll get the fourth slot- probably some kind of player-phase ranged unit like Robin or Rebecca, depending on who gives me trouble (if any).

Thanks for the ideas on Lissa @Arcanite, @Birdy and @salinea. I chose +Def and Hone Attack, to support her role as my main healer during Training Tower runs as well as a base during my main runs. Salinea, I think Fae has Threaten Attack, and to be honest, that sounds like a better combination than Lissa.

If it comes down to Cordelia/Camilla, I'll gladly support Cordelia. A pegasus with access to both Axebreaker and Bowbreaker is welcome in my books.

So, putting my sister behind the wheel gave me a Ryoma (+HP -Atk) and Fae (+Spd -HP) (I think), so I'd like to hear what some suggestions are for giving them some skills to become a potential new team. Also a consideration while I'm at it: Lissa has 1064 SP and no A or C skills. Any suggestions for skills that are halfway decent so I could maybe use that SP?

I just ran a count. It might not be accurate (Fates continues to present a problem to me), but I'm fairly sure the count is 8 to 10 in favour of females.

Pegasus riders have typically been female-only, while wyverns have been roughly equal with possibly a female tendency. Why is the only male on the pegasus side?

So, considering my luck with pegasus knights, I decided to draw on pegasus knights. Also for laughs, I gave the phone to my little sister (8) so she could pull. Friendly reminder, I've only received one five-star unit ever (Effie). She gets, among three 3* units of debatable value, 5* Fae and 5* Ryoma. ...I don't know if that's my pegasus luck or me giving the phone to someone else, but...

Last time we did a Voting Gauntlet, I ran a topic to see what a more general favourite list of princess and princesses was. Instead, I'm going to ask a more genericised version: Do you prefer the speedy pegasus knight or the tough wyvern knight? (Your favourites of each are welcome, like last time).

I'm not- as a flier lover, I have a Pavlovian fear response to bows, and I've hated dealing with bows on horses in the Training Tower because they have such a large attack range.

Appearances and association- I haven't had the capabilities to play FE4 personally, so I've been using systems that leave it... well, a little less than clear as to Lester's gameplay niche. That makes some sense. I don't think they'd drop the horses for Heroes at any rate. This is one of those 'they fit the spirit, but not the letter'.

Lester makes me think 'Axe Knight' because he looks too much like Lex, Deimne is a substitute I've almost never seen, I don't remember Thracia too well, and the Wolfguard are technically prepromotes. Midir, I'll give you.

I'm raising my 3-star Michalis for potential team usage (my current team is actually rather lacking in physically defensive units), and right now, he's level 37. Right now, I'm struggling to push him past that to level 40. Is the extra SP at this stage particularly valuable?
