  1. Although the localization is top notch and the changes can be considered "good". VG can never be considered an artform if any change to a original context is tolerated even by it's fans and even be called "strictly better". Think of it this way, if a classic foreign book or movie is changed to meet cultural demands or tried to be made "better" locally it would be absurd. The act itself would be condemned. I'm glad they added the Japanese tracks at least, though it is bugged as hell. Some games, due to game size issues or the producers/publishers just don't see it as important, leave out the original language, which is tantamount to say, leaving out the Japanese track in a DVD/BD release of Seven Samurai, which is a absolutely absurd notion to begin with. And then the localizers can maybe change around the characters a bit in the movie because they believe it will make it "better".

  2. Again, the Bride class came out of left field.

But There is really two Eirikas, the one before Valter's death chapter-ish, and after. Eirika was shook up by the abrupt invasion and war and lived mostly a sheltered life and was very naive. If it weren't for Seth, she would have died like 3 times in the story and who knows how many times on the battlefield. The Eirika that evolved as the story went a long is the brave and heroic character you know, minus the part where she gave the last Sacred Stone to "Lyon", though Ephraim did the same thing too, though not through deceit from what I remember. Since her character is just "added" to your team, albeit some interactions in her DLC chapter, she can't really show both sides of her character within the timeline, unless of course, they release another Eirika that is post evolution.

  3. I'm tackling Lunatic Casual right now. Anybody not getting ferried by Frederick shall be a worthy sacrifice to my ritual. Mwahahahahah!

EDIT: Is it even possible to not have a character die in Classic in Lunatic(and Lunatic+)? The spawn locations sometimes already spells doom for some characters, i.e. Ricken and Maribelle's recruitment chapter, in which they are trapped on top of a ledge.

  4. Muarim is Ike's sister.

The above mentioned most of it. I think all magic weapons have cut-ins missing. Also, I did some crazy aether + crit + something else combo where Chrom flew everywhere(standard stuff), but then the dual strike happened and his paladin partner hit nothing but air, but it counted as a "hit", with the slashy effect and everything and KO'd the opponent.

  5. I wouldn't mind any of them. Magvel needs a revisit though, because it is the only continent not touched on with more than one game. Though before 800 something, it was nothing but peace, kinda hard to squeeze a war game out of it. Maybe a game at year 0 or something.

  6. In terms of character - easy, in terms of power level - easy. In terms of badassery of the last fight - well, they'll figure something out. Other than killing a god(FE10, also Naga specifically stated that Grima and Naga herself aren't gods), Grima's battle on top of a 500 meter long dragon at high speeds in the sky haven't been topped by the any of the previous installments. Also, the music, the final decision, and comraderie/power of friendship/never giving up/blah, blah was also top notch in the series as the last chapter.

  7. Well, maybe they meant to suggest that there are actually other FE continents regardless of whether they chose to draw new landmasses. But, I could have sworn that one of those coastlines looked like Magvel....oh well....

I think the coloration and style made me think of it similar to Magvel as well. I would actually like it that different FEs are from completely different universes, hence the Outgate Realm or whatever it is called. But the 1000+ year gap between FE1-3 and 13 was cool too. We get to see Tiki grow up, etc. Lot of different nuances.

  8. Is there any point in increasing support points for maxed out characters? i.e. S for married couples, A for others. There are ways in which they still gain support points, i.e. The heart symbol still pops up after they do something, barracks can increase their support points(They even refer to each other as lovers if they have a S support).

Also, does Dragon Stones use magic or strength in this game?

EDIT: Answered the second question by myself.
