Well, I did predict Fae to overshoot, and it happened. Now we just need to avoid 2 more upsets. Crisis averted?

Team Ninian, DO NOT spend flags in this hour. Let Fae overshoot so they won't get the final multiplier. That is the only way we can win now.

Honestly, VG is probably the worst feature of this game. I wish they'd just replace it already rather than continue to make the system worse with every change.

I have never had my first choice win a gauntlet before, not once. Please, at least let me have this one ffs. I just want my fave to win for once.

If my team gets upset again I'm never participating in a gauntlet again. (Or at least, participating seriously and getting invested)

Scored an all time high of 4,866 in arena assault. Opened with my full armor team and went from there. Had to use all 3 of my items on the final stage just to make it out deathless as it was Rein+B!Lyn+Inigo on the fucking bridge map.

Fae is actually slowing down despite the increasing multiplier. I guess they really did run out of flags.
Anyways, as long as Corrin doesn't win, I'll consider this gauntlet a success.

Created deflect magic and missile.
Upgraded Distant Def and Deflect Magic to level 2, and will probably focus on getting those 2 to level 3 first.

It's actually much harder for the weaker team to cause an upset now, since they can't create a lead just under 10% and let the larger team struggle to catch up.
The only way for the underdog to win now is to overtake the winning team in the very last hour, otherwise they will give the bonus to the larger team and get utterly crushed.
Basically, Fae isn't going to win.

For the first time, my chosen team is the most popular team in the gauntlet. Feels good, for once I have a shot at winning with my original team.

I'm only missing Azura now.
Olivia is +Atk -HP, exactly the same as Inigo.
Leon is +Def -HP. Might promote him for another B!Lyn counter.

Y'all need to diversify. Only took me 2 tries to beat SA, first loss was due to careless positioning.
SpoilerSeal upgrade costs. It's very expensive, but we're getting sacred coin quests along with the update.

New deflect seals grant Urvan effect for melee, ranged physical and magic respectively. I can't believe Reinhardt is fucking dead.

Honestly I really just want a free Hinata. There have been so many free 3* quests and not one had fury fodder, so I'm stuck with like 3 or 4 characters wanting fury and no Hinatas.

Yeah, it's kinda odd, but then again, releasing the full schedule would reveal the Arvis GHB, which they might want to keep a secret (despite it being leaked already)

If there's a FE7 rep, that's who I'm supporting first, so team Ninian it is. I also have her to use as a bonus unit as well.

I recently ran out of units I want to promote so I'm probably going to save up now. Maybe I'll decide to promote the rest of the starters but I'm not too motivated to do so. (Out of the 3, only Anna is 5*)
I am considering a Lightning Breath+ build on Ninian though.

It better not be fates royals only. That would be the most boring gauntlet ever.
Manaketes+other dragon descendants like Julia and Sophia would be a much better selection.
(why does everyone assume fates for everything vaguely related to it. Like when people thought moment of fate would be a fates TT)

4,830 score for this new season. Should get me back into tier 20. Team was Hector, BK, B!Lyn and Inigo.
AA is down so I can't do a run yet.
Edit: AA is back up! Scored 4,834 on my first try.(deathless)
Having 4 unique dancers makes this mode so easy to cheese now.
