  1. Ike - slow, packs a punch, allows for options on B and S slots (Vantage/QR, as @eclipse mentioned). DC built in weapon, freeing A slot up for other things. Can heal self with Special. Laughs at archers who pack piddly attack and/or not have Brave Bow. Can still serve a purpose on one's team, even if RD!Ike is readily available. 7/10 Titania - Good res, pitiful attack. Guard will frustrate Special-happy characters. Readily available for merges. 6/10
  2. Has a link to a hilarious story posted on his signature.
  3. The curse of adulting lol. Some people still write stuff out longhand in organizers, which helps in keeping your brain active, too.
  4. Methinks they announced it three days prior, so people could register. I could be wrong though.
  5. Reported @DisobeyedCargo finding a perp.
  6. ...gave Wario a ton of books on macroeconomics. He looked at the stack of books that was five times his height and said, "Do I have to read all of THIS, to not be poor? You have to be a kidney!" Arkedemis said, brow furrowing, "What?" Wario snorted and said, "You have to be a kidding me." Arkedemis smiled sagely, as is expected of him by definition, and said...
  7. (emphasis mine) This may exist in a perfect world. In this one, you have aphorisms like the following: "All the news that's fit to print." (New York Times IIRC) "We report. You decide." (Fox News) They're cute and witty, to be sure, but neither really would accurately serve as a mirror for the intellect of their reading/viewing populace. As Christopher Hitchens had written in numerous ways before, "The essence of the independent mind lies not in what it thinks, but in how it thinks." We can tell how some people think by looking at where they get their news, though.
  8. Apparently, the language is obscured in a lot of cases. Historically speaking, the Wannsee conference where a "complete solution to the Jewish question" was supposedly discussed (it was a lie: total control was given to the SS by Hermann Göring with every other office submitting to the will of the Squadron under Reinhard Heydrich), they masked the activities by using the term evacuation. Fast forward to a few more decades, and you have the term used by Serbs to rationalize all the crap that happened on the former Yugoslavia (ethnic cleansing). So, yeah. Language can either expose truth, or obscure it.
  9. ...also trying to cajole me on buying a washer/dryer that runs on hamsters. From the looks of it, the dog was doing the upselling, and the bald man was...
  10. If you're using Galeforce as a special, go on ahead. That sounds awesome! sorry for the lame suggestion lol
  11. A really crummy card from Magic: The Gathering. on topic: Because they are tiger familiars. Why am I seeing serious answers on this thread?
  12. Hector on a horse with the Hectorcopter animation FTW. Make it happen IS XD
  13. Definitely, yeah. Looking to replay the game!
  14. 10/10. Loved what I've heard. Castlevania SOTN Soundtrack: The Tragic Prince
  15. Mr. Westinghouse. Or Mr. Electric, who served in the military. Isn't it a funny coincidence that the guy who researched on the effects of LSD in the 60s had the name Leary as the last name? ;)
  16. To think that Wrath at least now has two characters who come with it (Nephenee, Karla), yeah. Dazzling/Wrathful Staff are awfully rare.
  17. You check the library for a similar scroll. But all you find are scrolls for enchiladas, burritos, flautas, and tacos. Do you... a. Go to the bookshelf to find the conjuring books for a quesadilla's basic ingredients, b. Use sheer force of will to transport a quesadilla from the quesadilla dimension, c. Use telepathy to find out who among the School has last used the scroll d. Drive to Taco Bell instead
  18. Yep. The check-and-balance system, right there. This is about the best (not to mention the most prudent) way to stem the tide of the idiocy pervading youse guys' neck of the woods.
