See, I can partially agree with this, but even then you can't be sure to please everyone. There are people who are tired of bunnies, but at the same time there are people who consiser the bunnies their favorite alts, and they already have to wait a year. Imagine the salt if they waited a year to discover the event was switched up with something else, like that Hindu traditional celebration someone mentioned. Not only do you have to wait another year if the new costumes aren't your thing, but maybe that one character you were really hoping for gets to be on that banner, just not in the costume you wanted, and because of the way it works, they can never get it (example since Valentine Titania exists, we will never get the Valentine Titania dressed like Valentine Lyn someone wanted). Just imagine the salt. I can imagine myself being disappointed if it happens to Nowi in a month in which she would have gotten to be a bunny if they didn't change things up. Imagine if someone really wanted an Hector in a Santa outfit. Comes December and we get Snowman Hector. Maybe it will be an awesome alt in its own way, but people will feel regret that it could have been Santa Hector. Imagine waiting forever for your waifu to be a bride, and she becomes a bridesmaid instead. Even worse, let's think of the worst case scenario. A year passes, and we are finally gonna get the final bunny whitewing to complete the trio. Except they decide to switch things up like you suggest, and now Est doesn't match her sisters anymore. A trio 3 years in the making ruined. I think people will call it ruined if they dare to give Est a slightly different costume, like the long eared one, so I don't even know what they'll say if she isn't a bunny at all. Or even worse, because they decided to switch things up for that year Est doesn't appear at all, and gets to be on the banner the year after... 4 years to complete the Whitewing alts. Of course this is a 1st world problem. Complaining about which alts we get in a world in which Oscar is still missing Boyd and Rolf is a minor complain. But still, it's food for thought. It isn't as easy to please the fanbase as one may think it is.

Is that so? Tbh I disagree in putting all the Spring Seasonals as the same, since it's really three different types of costumes. The Playboy costume (Camilla, Lucina, Catria, Palla, Marisa, Kagero), the fabulous costume with bunny hats (Xander, Chrom) and the long eared Hare costume (Alfonse, Sharena, Loki, Veronica, Bruno). For comparison, the wedding and winter banners have a worse track record with only two types of costumes: The wedding dress (Caeda, Lyn, Charlotte, Cordelia, Tharja, Sanaki, Ninian) and the groom tuxedo (Marth) vs the Santa outfit (Chrom, Lissa, Robin, Eirika, Ephraim, Cecilia) and the reindeer costume (Tharja, Fae). And you could say that even if they have variations in their costumes it's always just bunnies, eggs and carrots. But what do you expect from an Easter event? And don't even pretend it's not an Easter event just because the game says "Spring Festival". Everyone knows we have a Christmas event in Heroes, even if the game itself calls it a "Winter" event, and we all recognize the Halloween costumes even if the game never says the word Halloween and tries to pass it as some kind of Autumn celebration. In fact the one time Kagero had something different from your regular Halloween costume she was blasted by everyone. For that reason I heavily disagree with your statement about Mist fitting in what's clearly a Easter banner in all but name. If she has the same design + a basket of eggs and a bunny hat she gets a pass. This is all for the sake of consistency. I ask we do maintain very strict rules (like we did for Kagero) and if next year someone like Ayra dares to show her face in something that isn't Easter themed. Blast her! Blast her like someone who wears all red on St. Patrick Day!

Ok, I'm happy for Palla's fans but at the same time I'm mad cause this confirms we will have to wait a year for best whitewing. I can't believe IS had the opportunity to make paired alts for the most iconic FE trio and decided "you know what? They can wait 3 years for it. They had to accept so much bullsh*t, they will accept this too" :-@ The rest of the banner doesn't interest me so... is that Veronica? Of course, she had to be the last unit revealed just to trick me into thinking I could skip this banner for a second... *unzips wallet* It surprises me how many people seem to not like the Spring Seasonals at all, since I can't understand the reasoning. If they don't like fanservice, the Summer Seasonals and now Hot Spring show even more skin. And Winter!Tharja, Halloween!Dorcas and Bride!Tharja are more fanservicey than the Spring Outfits despite coming from festivities people see as more tame. And I know Playboy did wonders for making the bunny costumes a sexy icon, but in my opinion it did so well, and it was such a long time ago that now the iconic image of the Playboy Costume has gone full circle from being scandalous to becoming a well known and socially accepted part of pop culture. Or maybe I'm the only one that sees it that way. And if the reason is that people dislike silly things, I can't help but think of the "no fun allowed" meme. Thankfully I know for a fact that for every detractor, there are 10 times more fans who embrace the sillyness and probably will make sure such banners stay profitable enough to continue to exist.

I disagree. To me characters that get few lines and are shafted in their own games (like the characters with 0 supports you listed) should have precedence to get added so we can get a better understanding of them thanks to their lines in Heroes. Look at characters like Grima, Idunn and Duma, finally we have some lines to get to know them better. Also, for the same reason, characters who sucked in their own games like Karla and Sue should be OP, while I'm happy characters like the Robins, Seth, Rutger, Oscar and Titania are mediocre, since they already got their time to shine and need to leave space to others. To answer the topic. The only character I hate is Silas. He is already in, so for me they can add whoever they want. Except brigand boss. I'm fine with characters like Batta the Beast, the Merchants and Layla that one singer who appeared in a single scene in Fates because they at least have a name and a hint of dialogue to build upon. Brigand boss has nothing, so screw him.

Point taken. My rebuttal is that they never cared too much about any pattern they previously made and they broke them all. So there is no reason to think the "caring about holydays' timing" pattern will be different.

I love this post. It's the textbook example of how IS fools us. "No more Fateswakening alts for a while" is a shared sentiment here, but most of us also think "well... if they choose THAT ONE UNIT, then I guess it's fine" and that's how they make us open up again to the idea, and in our hearts we already accept the next Special Banner with Fates. Can't exactly blame you, tho. It's the same thing for me. I say "give the special alts to other games IS!", but in my mind I think "if they finally give an alt to Beruka, it will be worth it to have another banner". It's a conspiracy! We are caught in their trap! Anyway the special banner is the rabbits. It's not like IS ever cared about getting the timing right.

This banner is quite nice for me. I am certainly interested in summoning Red and Green. The only problem is that they just HAD to make a Delthea banner at the same time, and I will prioritize that one. If I can get her quickly I will spend the rest of my orbs on Sue and Idunn.

Can you add Tanith to the list? As more and more faves are added she is the one character I desire the most.

With this anniversary I learned I have the devil's own luck. Three random summons. Three units I wanted. This time I got a very nice Duma and I'm super happy.

A fighting game. But an RTS in the style of AoE and Warcraft would be fun too.

5. Jarod (Radiant Dawn). It's cool to see so many people mention him. He definitely left an impression. 4. Orson (Sacred Stones). One of the coolest character, just because of his unique role and backstory. Plus it would funny if we got him before Forde, Kyle and Franz. 3. Nuibaba (Echoes). Witches are cool. Give her Medusa and recreate the nightmare that is her map. 2. Petrine (Path of Radiance). Put her in the game already. 1. Travant (Genealogy). He will come soon, guaranteed. I would have put Medeus in the top 5, but after Duma I want him as a Mythic Hero.

I agree 100% with the girl here. RD Ike makes me uncomfortable because of his stupid muscles. Same thing for Ryoma. Thank Naga there are things like Groom Marh and Sunmer Takumi. Now that's the good stuff. Honestly that's the kind of male fanservice I like. But there are also a lot of girls and guys who like muscles, soo... to each their own?

Since I started with a meme and I responded to Eclipse jokingly, I intended for it to be a joke. I should have made it more clear. Obviously things still aren't completely balanced, obviously IS seems to prefer female characters and it's true that they also tend to prefer certain females over and over, instead of switching them up. It wasn't the point of the joke. The joke was more at the expense of people who are overly prudish, or use double standards: "butt and boobs in the shame shot? How indecent! What you can see Keaton's ass and his naked torso in the same picture? What's wrong with that?" And about the Speedos. I would whale for Speedo Camus, but the way you used that as an example of balancing things out... I don't really agree with it. I've seen SAO. I've seen Shinon's cameltoe be the focus of the camera in many shots, and in my opinion we haven't reached that level of shameless nakedness in this game, not even with the Hot Springs, so there's no need to balance it with Speedo Camus and his big bulge... yet. To be even clearer, if we resolve the quantity problem, by adding 30 half-naked males, I would call the game balanced. I believe that even the most sexualized female alt in this game is basically on the same level of Hot Springs!Ryoma, not more offensive, not less offensive. I will fight people over this, but not here, it's really not the right place. To be honest I initially thought of a different joke entirely. I wanted to complain about how unrealistic Kaden's and Keaton's muscles looked, saying that it objectifies the male body, and someone like me who could never reach such a perfect physical condition shouldn't have to deal with such negative models being imposed on me. I rapidly dropped the idea because there were thousands of ways to interpret it the wrong way. So I decided to make a different joke that I thought was harmless, but I guess it was not. The actual point of the joke was to not take the fanservice too seriously, since it can be done with both genders, and the artists probably don't put a lot of thought over the morality of it, when it's really just drawings without any special mening. P.S.: Fates is irrelevant to the argument since we are talking about Heroes and only Heroes. You are right that Camilla's cutscene was bad in general. If there was a cutscene of Xander training naked and the camera stared at his ass I would call it the worst scene in the game too.

Oof. Thank Naga I decided to stop trying for Mist after Greil came to block her. I need all the orbs to get my beloved Little Red Riding Hood. To all people complaining about another Fates banner: it's only fair for Selkie to be added immediatly, since she was robbed harder than any Marth or Anna. She didn't "technically" win like them, she just won plain and simple. So her fans deserve this.

Cheer up a little, pal. Think about it this way. If they did it like last year you would just get Azura, which to my undertanding is the one you want the least. Now you have at least the chance of getting one of the others. And 3/4 of the characters give you a free blessing, which is a plus. It could have been worse... *sees L!Ike at 7th* MUCH WORSE!! MUCH WORSE!! Seriously, anyone who voted for a character we already got for free deserves to be shot on the spot.

I get what you're saying, but honestly I hope that if they change a thing about how you were able to romance everyone in Fates, I want them to change the gay characters. Like, just let them be gay. I know Bi people are cool and all, but sometimes it feels kind of lazy. Also, you get to write 1 less support, because the character is only available for 1 gender of your avatar, instead of two. Also, please no more Catria/Cordelia/Faye. I know they are realistic because IRL people often get rejected and can't realize their romantic dreams, but good Naga are those characters depressing. I wanted to have an avatar character in Echoes just to give Faye a hug. Why do they make characters that will always be unhappy? Make them more like Oboro. I know technically Titania is the Catria of Tellius, since she loved only one man, who married someone else, but in that case the plot worked in her favor and she could move on instead of always being chained by her feelings like the other Catrias. That made her way more bearable. Also to the people who don't want a dragon as the final boss, I agree but to compensate, let's have a f*ckton of playable dragons. Like, Radiant Dawn Endgame/Awakening levels. Dragons are an amazing class, and after Heroes allowing me to play only with dragons if I want to... I don't think I can go back to PoR and the GBA with only 1 playable dragon. And please let's not go back to Jugdral and 0 dragons. LET'S NOT!

I just hope this direct will have a random surprise out of nowhere. For the expected stuff, I hope they reveal Joker's gameplay in Smash, and that the rumors about Spyro's trilogy coming to Switch are true. Also, please don't delay 3 Houses...
