  1. Honestly, by the time your kids are reading that book; worrying about preserving their "innocence" should be the least of their problems. Besides, it's not like the world will magically fit into their values as soon as the kids graduate high school.
  2. Lately, this is more or less the only way it's been panning out, since voting for anyone who isn't an democrat or an republican on national or statewide scale is essentially throwing your vote away; mostly because an lot of people will still stick with voting for the two extremes instead of an third party or an independent. I genuinely don't see this happening because conservatism in America isn't the kind of thing that'll die out within an few years. Plus, I doubt if there will ever be an push for an one-party state because it'll defeat the purpose of electing people.
  3. True, but it's kind of easier for me to leave the game running and adding whatever's from it than it is to read an Excel spreadsheet. And it's kind of weird that Hero is omitted from Three Hopes, considering how Holst almost looks like one But at any rate, I've made an table for the Soldier's learnset for the Blue Lions and some of the cast.
  4. So, can I have an wiki account to fill out the learnset for the rest of the class pages? Because I'm getting towards at the end of Azure Gleam and I really don't feel like making an spare file.
  5. I'll look into it, later on. Yeah, I would; but the main thing about American politics is that it's mostly an two-party system in terms of voter turnout. Sure, having somewhere between 10% to 25% of is an indicator of what people want; but those figures aren't enough to actually get voted into office, unfortunately
  6. I want to point out that the reason why I'm an fence-sitter is because I really don't have the time and energy to research everything that goes on with these kind of people. Of course, sensationalism from the news outlets sure ain't helping much
  7. Because I live in America and it indirectly affects me. I really don't know, but it's at the point where I kind of feel that it isn't really worth it to actually keep track of what everyone is doing if it leads to people who are in the 60s acting like children or that they can't bring much of anything beneficial to the table (granted, they have to pass an vote on it) In my defense, I don't use Twitter and the news that I was following didn't mentioned who this guy was until now. As it is, he's an example of why it's an horrendous idea to buy into everything that the Republicans (or any politician) are saying. Let's say if I vote for the Democrats, next year and hope that they'll keep their end of the bargain. But someone else loses their shit over their favorite candidate losing and being blamed for electing someone that one of my neighbors hate into office. Of course, I could always lie about it because it's nobody's business on who I vote for or when I decide to do it. Trump, who brought some top secret documents to his resort after he left office. I know that he's also going through some other legal issues, but that raid isn't as big as an handful of people are making it out to be.
  8. This is somewhat reasonable, provided that there's an reliable way for dealing with violent, armed criminals or someone going through an mental episode and they happened to be armed. To be fair, this is just latest incident of the problems that he caused. Which is why I don't vote, nowadays. But at any rate, they've allegedly caught the guy in Ohio. No information on who he is or if he managed to hit anyone, yet
  9. I thought that was mostly about him taking some paperwork that was supposed to stay with the government? And it's hilarious how the usual suspects are freaking out over it, though. Oh, and someone is trying to pick an gunfight with the FBI up in Ohio. I won't be surprised if he gets killed and turned into an bogeyman by the people who run this country
  10. The one where you fight Pheros in the Valmese arc. You know, there's this fort you need to take, it was another day in the office until either Say'Ri or Chrom points out that they're hearing footsteps beneath them. Then the Emperor's court jester appears to annoy the boss and 4 guys appears in the giant room on the eastern side of the map.
  11. That's been done to Hell and back. It kind of feels off to listen to Hubert narrating the arrival of some fliers or someone else bitching about how the reinforcements are running late. Awakening was onto something when Chrom pointed out that he heard some footsteps below him and an alternate scene pans out if you block those 4 stairs; you'd expect to be some more commentary on the amount of hoofbeats in the distances or something
  12. I think that might be the only OP build outside of Holy/Dark Sylvain or using Felix as an Mortal Savant.
  13. They're playing with an certain set of frets on the neck. It's the string equivalent of an half or an whole note; they're just letting the string vibrate longer than usual. It's like continuously blowing through an flute or an trumpet to sustain an note Usually, there's two or three electric guitars in an band; but you really need an good ear to hear the electric bass (it's usually for that creepy backbeat). But this sound is usually an prolonged note from one of them. Here's the sheet music for the lead guitar if you're interested
  14. Right now, I'm following this. Basically, this is an auto shop that's licensed to make an certain version of the Batmobile at an large price tag. Some rich guy in California missed an payment and his car was moved back from being first in line to dead last. This didn't sit well with him, so he allegedly got the local sheriff to raid the auto shop, which is in Indiana. According to the video, the owner's bank account was frozen and he's being charged with two felonies...All because his customer missed an payment and was livid about it. Of course, there's probably some more stuff going on behind the scenes; but filing criminal charges feels like an step too far.
  15. Well, I have both of Dimitri's unique classes, unlocked. But I have no idea how to get infusion of wind.
  16. I'm not entirely sure about this because dragonstones don't exactly scale well in comparison with conventional weapons and you'll be trading the evasion bonus from the weapon triangle for something that I need to look into. Can't really remember the stat bonuses from Fates, but I never forced anyone to miss with an dragonstone equipped But on the other hand, it could make the game challenging by including an bunch of thugs armed with Wrymslayers. Fun way to force the lord to become an benchwarmer.
  17. In addition to the above, it's because you can't really build an lot of excitement off of an unarmored pikeman without handing him an suit of heavy armor. Sure, Fate's naginatas are an entirely different type of weapon for an different type of war; but as it was, it doesn't take an lot of training (and money) to point your lances at the enemy and either from an line or an square with the rest of your battalion. Everything else in fantasy actually required an lot of training to do so IRL, and it becomes even more complicated when you include horsemanship. Archery required someone to spend most of their life learning how to use an bow. Swords were kind of rare in larger armies, but I think that this is mainly from the possibility that they couldn't be made as fast as spears and javelins could. And I doubt if people actually used an axe as often as medieval fantasy made it out to be. Sure, there's stuff like the halbred and or an poleaxe; but that brings up back to forming an line.
  18. Enjoy it while it lasts, man. I doubt if the trend will continue for the rest of the country.
  19. Needs more aggressive AI. I'm playing on Hard and all it takes to kill them is to stay off to their sides or directly behind them.
  20. Anything about Felix? Sure, he can't compete with Sylvain's crowd control; but I find that the attack spam he has is perfect for shredding just about anything that isn't on an horse.
  21. Regarding the classes and their movesets, it turns out that the availability of the combo strings are tied to your weapon proficiency, which goes up by unlocking new classes as opposed to an certain heavy attack only being available to an Advanced class. Which means that it's possible for an Fighter to do that rolling attack that you'd normally see while playing as an Warrior. And that an lot of them share the same moves (with an few variations between the characters) with about two or three other classes. As for which class unlocks what, I actually lost track of it because this is the type of game where everything unlocks so fast that you won't be hindered by not going through it. At any rate, I only have one or two characters that I haven't touched, yet; and I would like to fill out the pages for whatever that pops up for them, since I'm not burning through classes like I was, earlier.
  22. Come on, man; they're only bots. All the admins have to do is create an moderation queue for posts from new accounts.
  23. What you have on the datamine spreadsheet is accurate to around Lv 8 or so (I haven't really tested it out because my max level is around 41). I'll have to make an few assumptions here and there because I have the 10% discount upgrade for the training grounds; but I'm under the impression that it's accurate
