(SPOILERS) Three Houses General Spoilers Thread
Onestep replied to BZL8's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
So we still don't know what choice the leakanon made, but he is currently fighting Flayn as an enemy, so it really was a big one. -

Onestep replied to BZL8's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Yeah, so the rewards for the Flayn Paralogue are the divine relics of Cichol and Cethleann. Flayn and Seteth are 100% more than they seem to be. -

Leakanon got Lindhart to Faith A. He learned Warp. That will be fun. -

Onestep replied to BZL8's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Yeah, we probably should stop before mods start handing out warnings. Anyway, new Paraogue shown on 4chan. It's the Manuela and Hanneman one. Manuela starts off on her own in the east portion of the map, with a ton of enemies between the main group and herself. Lots of treasure to grab. -

(SPOILERS) Three Houses General Spoilers Thread
Onestep replied to BZL8's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
This was debunked by the actual leaker, who posted a screenshot of his game when he claimed this information was fake. From the screenshots that have been posted, including this one, it would seem that Edelgard has several siblings, all of whom suffered a terrible fate. I'm not going to spoiler any of this, because if you come into the General Spoiler thread and get spoiled, you have only yourself to blame. -

Yeah, so the leaker continues on 4chan. Much of it is summarised on Reddit, but the biggest new thing is that Flayn is very possibly -
Love and Marriage: All supports available
Onestep replied to Duke of Dozel's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
S supports could simply be the 'lock' for Byleth's ending, and Sothis and Rhea could be platonic. -
Death Knight Stats Screenshot (Spoilers)
Onestep replied to BastienSoul's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Yeah, the guy posted a few screenshots on /feg/, and answered a few questions before leaving. He said he left because a Blue Lions fan was bothering him about the fact he chose Black Eagles, but he probably just wanted to get back to playing the game. Highlights are that Ferdinand unlocks Seal Speed after blooming his talent, Bernadetta unlocks Pass and Edelgard gets Black Magic Crit +10. The plot is apparently pretty slow up until at least July. This was his Byleth in the same chapter, for comparison. I don't think the boss is intended to be remotely beatable at this stage. -
New Heroes Approach: Three Houses (July 22 ~)
Onestep replied to Coolmanio's topic in Fire Emblem Heroes
I think it's more the general trend that annoys people. You see the same thing every time any gender of Avatar get's slightly more focus at any given time. Oooh, Male Robin got most of the Smash trailer, that means he's canon! Oooooh, Female Corrin was in Warriors, that means she's canon! Ooooooooh, Male Byleth is a reward in Heroes for buying Three Houses, that means he's canon! And so on. Just gets frustrating. Anyhow, units look of mixed value. -
New Heroes Approach: Three Houses (July 22 ~)
Onestep replied to Coolmanio's topic in Fire Emblem Heroes
Well, Escotanner said it. But saying that because Female Byleth has been announced for a banne that means she's canon when Male Byleth was announced first, and is the literal gift unit for buying Three Houses is kind of silly. I could just as well say that Male Byleth is canon for the that reason and it would be just as convincing. But really, I just agree with Sentinel07. People jumping on any evidence they can for 'canon', even when said 'evidence' has nothing to do with the game's story and is dubious at best get's frustrating. Apologies if I misinterpreted your 'Says who'. I wasn't entirely sure what you meant by it in this context. On a side note, super surprised that Kronya is the GHB. I was expecting, well, anybody else really. -
Varied a bit. You were typically warned that reinforcements were incoming and roughly where from, but rarely what type were coming. Then you have shit like the Mila tree.
-
Nor do I, really. Hopefully it's a fairly low requirement, so that it can be reached with stat boosters alone.
-
Apparently, a stat actually affects the plot this time. Charm apparently affects both recruitment and a major event in the game.

FE3H Street Date Broken(Possibly)
Onestep replied to Busterman64's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Yeah, went through the archives and checked the current catalog myself. Nothing right now, unless it's hiding on some random nowhere board like /qst/ or something. -
FE3H Street Date Broken(Possibly)
Onestep replied to Busterman64's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
By 'Please be careful out there for spoilers', you mean 'hunt down every spoiler you can like a starving animal', right? Because that's my plan. -
Definitely prefer male Byleth. He looks collected and stoic, without it veering off into arrogance, which is my favourite type of protag.
-
I mean, people say that IS is doing this to appeal to their fans, but personally, I think a lot of design decisions are made because it's what some of the developers themselves want to add to the game, and I don't see a problem with that.
-
Male Byleth simply has a better aesthetic. He wears dark armor, is perpetually grim and has a slim. more angled face. He looks like a hardass, and it makes the out-of-character moments where he's smiling or acting excited more notable. Comparatively, Female Byleth is kind of all over the place. Her armor has way more bright stripes of multiple colours all over it, to the point it stops accentuating the armor and starts clashing with it and her face is rounder and generally more cheerful and expressive. Personally, I'm inclined to believe that Male Byleth will be more popular.

FE16 Same-Sex Relationship Discussion
Onestep replied to BastienSoul's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
I mean, Serene's has been relatively balanced. There are number of people on other sites who have thrown absolute fits on this. But there's always that group of people who massively overreact, so I just ignore them. I don't have any interest in the homosexual options, but I was surprised at the fact they chose older men for two of the three gay choices. It seemed like a very odd choice overall. -
Known Character Strengths and Weaknesses

I'd guess Faculty Training? -
spoilers So who's the TRUE antagonist? Game Theory time.
Onestep replied to TheDreamReturns's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
It would be interesting if their was no 'real' antagonist, just a bunch of people with different viewpoints and beliefs who clashed, and depending on which House you pick, you get drawn to one side or another. For example, if you picked Black Eagles, you end up on Seiros's side, whereas the Blue Lions side with Nemesis's point of view and so on. But yeah, it's probably going to be the same evil dragon in every route. -
Can you choose the strengths and hidden talents of Byleth?
Onestep replied to Namarid's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Yep. STR and Sword-wielders are essentially 'freebies' since Byleth has high physical bases, a high initial sword skill and a unique prf sword. On the other hand, Reason Magic users will be tricky. Faith might be possible, depending on how useful the Hidden Talent is. -
Remember that weapons aren't class-locked anymore. There's nothing stopping you from having a War Master throwing spears around.

What is actually going on with the Crests?
Onestep replied to HappyHawlucha.'s topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Well, I'll take that over the 'Edelgard stuffs Marianne into her axe' theory.
