  1. 3-11 only has 3 yellow units. I just have them avoid so they stay out of the way. Maybe you're thinking of 3-10 with all the green units trying to protect Elincia. 3-13 is the one where Micaiah can't move. If your mercs are 3rd tier, why do you go down to fight them? They only move on the last 2 turns so you should be able to retreat without suffering casualties. 4-4 is Oliver's mansion. 4-3 is the desert which is one of my most hated chapters in the game.
  2. Yeah, it'll work but you have to cut one from your endgame team. You can only take 10 others (besides Micaiah) to endgame. Maybe try using Ike as least as possible. You don't even need to use Sothe for anything except meatshielding and stealing in part 1. Since it's a girls only playthrough, you should drop him whenever your girls can take care of themselves.
  3. That's awesome. I'd buy that. For the speed, are the characters really going to have 3x, 4x, etc. the speed of the enemies? Twice is ok but how slow do those enemies have to be for the characters to have triple/quadruple speed? For stats, there should be defense and resistance (for standard attacks) and weapon ranks. For example, Samus has to reach a certain level in beam and missiles before she can use stronger ones. Then when characters reach higher levels, they can use new weapons. Some moves can attack from range to avoid being countered but they're usually weaker than direct moves. What about smash attacks? Those are usually slower but more powerful than standard attacks. Maybe smash attacks could have a weight stat or something similar that decreases AS if the user's strength isn't high enough (kinda like in FE). The currency could be coins, gold, rupees, etc. For characters, Luigi, Diddy Kong, Peach and Wario should all be playable. They're all unique enough to have their own movesets. If it's too many Mario characters (which it probably is) maybe they could be unlocked after beating the game. Dai Goroh shouldn't be playable cause a lot of people probably don't know who he is and I think a few other F-Zero characters deserve a spot. Pico, Jody Summer, Dr. Stewart, Mighty Gazelle, or even Black Shadow. It's a nice idea. Nintendo would have a huge hit on their hands.
  4. Oh man, I remember that chapter on my first playthrough. It was hell for sure. I had to use tons of vulneraries on my turns so my characters could only attack on the enemy phase or they'd die. It's only bad if you're not prepared for it.
  5. That's just an excuse for IS not to make Largo playable. He could've trained his left arm with axes. Maybe he wouldn't have been as good but he could've done something. For some unknown reason, they didn't want Largo playable and they came up with that. It works for the story but why is he the only PoR character not playable in RD?
  6. That's 3-13 and its lots of fun. The DB gets a lot of exp for killing lots of laguz. Just give Micaiah a physic staff and she can heal people from way up top. Since my GMs are usually higher than my DB, I never try to kill them. But towards the end of the chapter, I send the allies down to fight the GMs and watch the GMs kick lots of ass.
  7. I don't know but I'm not the only one who said maybe Micaiah. I change my vote to Lehran for being an insane mastermind.
  8. Maybe it had something to do with the castle falling on him.
  9. That's true, sorry I forgot to include that. Dheginsea and Ashera boss battles on my first playthrough cause I didn't have a good strategy against either of them. How they could only be hurt with blessed weapons, mantle has a Nihil and Fortune effect, and they recover an insane amount of hp each turn. 4-E-3 cause the whole chapter was full of dragons. 4-E-2 for being ridiculously easy with the hammer. It's still pretty easy with Ragnell and Urvan. Most disappointing fight in this game for sure.
  10. Didn't Ike want to be a mercenary? I think he'd train at least a little so he could hold his own on the battlefield. He does have 7 chapters of training before Greil dies. If Greil never died, he'd still be the commander of the GMs and Ike wouldn't have become the legend that he is at the end of RD (he'd still be good but not as good). Ike vs Greil would've been awesome.
  11. Does that exclude 4-E cause I can't see those bosses falling to bronze weapons.
  12. I know what you mean. You know what I don't get? Why is Ike the hero at the end of the game? Maybe they thought that Ike would make a better hero than Micaiah but he's not a big part of the story until 3-11 (well he's important but not as important as Micaiah). Landing on a random space in the desert and getting Stefan (I played RD before PoR). 2-P taking place in the sky with only flying units. That was pretty awesome. Everytime someone said "try not to kill so many people", I was like "Fuck that".
  13. Yeah, 2-E is pretty fun. It's my favourite part 2 chapter by a longshot. 1-E is annoying without BK, Nailah, or some of the prepromotes.
  14. Spirits can move anywhere on the map Daein sided with Begnion, meaning that your DB members would be fighting your GMs You never have the option of choosing between ALL playable characters at any point in the game.
  15. Sain just cause he's green and he usually ends up stronger than Kent. I usually use both though.
  16. Ilyana's death quote in RD: "No! Ahh... I'm dying... on an empty stomach..." I think Ena also had "..." as her death quote in PoR as a boss.
  17. They get payed a lot of money. They're just sick, greedy bastards. Of course, they're probably told that they'll be executed if they don't obey.
  18. Hmm...this is so hard. Here goes: Boyd Ike Oscar Jill Raven Dart Kieran Marcia Honorable mention goes to (in no particular order): Calill, Tormod, Soren, Rhys, Gatrie, Shinon, Mia, Rolf, Nephenee, Haar, Titania, Mist, Zihark, Edward, Nolan, Geoffrey, Elincia, Eliwood, Hector, Lyn, Rath, Wil, Rebecca, Canas, Sain, Kent, Oswin, Fiora, Heath, Priscilla, Matthew, Guy, and any other favourites that I forgot. So hard to pick only 8. They're all part of my fantasy team.
  19. Wow, I don't even know where to start. I'm not even sure if these are my top memories but here goes (in no order): Unlocking all cars and tracks in F-Zero GX Fighting Dark Samus 3 times in Metroid Prime 2 Echoes Beating Super Mario World for the first time. (my first video game) Playing Super Smash Bros for the first time. Playing Fire Emblem 7 (my first FE), now it's one of my fave series. Playing Donkey Kong Country series.
  20. I'd be a reaver or a fire arch sage. Maybe I could combine the two classes. Axes + fire magic would be pretty awesome.
  21. Yeah, I've never tried that and I'd probably never think of doing that unless I did it by accident. I don't read a lot of walkthroughs unless I'm really stuck.
  22. That is some useful knowledge right there. I've beaten this game 7 times and I've never noticed that. I'm definitely trying that next time.
  23. 1-8. Not only is it a swamp, but all these overpowered units are forced onto the field. You can only take 4 more characters and one of them is probably Laura (for healing) so you can only train 3 more DB members plus Micaiah. And you can't use the only underleveled flyer on the team to take out the dracoknights, making it harder to save all the prisoners. 4-3 only cause I don't use a lot of characters that are good on that level. There are probably only 4 or 5 characters that I actually like who can finish that level fast and there's no point for me to use characters I don't like or don't care for.
