  1. My sole point was exactly this, that six star units are a posibility after a while/years. That's the exact thing I was refering to when I qouted you in the first place. How they will do it, I don't know. They could indeed put limitations, like that you need to have a 5 star merged with +10 for it to be possible to 6* for example.
  2. The game hasn't been out for that long, so there's no reason for a powercreep to happen here yet. I very much see them adding stronger enemies in GHB's and introducing newer characters with higher stats and better skills to take them down. It's still a strategy game even if obtaining newer characters makes downing those bosses easier, meaning they can't just brute force their way through there, but makes you have more options. If you already have a strong collection of units and all units have sort of the same powerstrength, there's little reason to pull for new ones unless you're a collector, a fan, or if those new characters have some very interesting skills. Just so you know, I'm not talking about powercreep happening in weeks or a couple months, but gradually over a year or two or three. It's not that I underestimate the worth of whales to this game, they are very valuable. If they introduced 6 star units right now, ofcourse they'll be angry, rightly so. But I'm talking over the course of years and there are different kinds of whales. Some whale on one banner to get +10's of units to get ranked high and keep it with that. Some whales want atleast one of every unit and some want a +10 of a lot of units. There's probably more reasons than this aswell that I'm overlooking. But for the first whale, since he'll only whale on one or two banners, they won't be making much cash of him anyway, so they have little to lose there. If anything, he'll do another whale session for 6* units. For the ones that are collecting or want multiple units of +10, if they keep whaling over the course of years, is that really going to stop them if after such a long time, they start adding 6* units? Especially if they do it gradually? I really doubt it... *I would write more, but my bath is getting cold and my phone is running out of battery >.<.
  3. It happens in a lot of gacha games. I'd be inclined to even say "it happens in mist of the popular ones", but I don't have the evidence to back that up. It takes a year or two, if not more, for those games to introduce those though, and with the sheer number of Fire Emblem characters there are available and at the pace we've been going, I don't see that happening anytime soon, if at all, but not because of the reason that whales will be unhappy.
  4. Ah, you're right, how could I be so foolish >.< I thought the hour was already over, but it probably wasn't. Thanks! Thanks aswell to @pianime94!
  5. What about the procs on turn 6? They should both activate at that point. P.s. thanks for the answer :)
  6. Holy moly, I got 4600 and got placed rank 26.000. People have been getting scores fast and really high I believe, normally this would be good enough to be under 5k at the end.
  7. Season just started, but I already got 10+ defense wins ._. I really wish we could see how the battles played out, I want to know what kills them.
  8. Probably a stupid question, but does Renewal even stack with Lucina's Falchion build in Renewal?
  9. Finished it on my first try. Easiest one yet for me, I had more troubles with the others. Draw Back is a life saver.
  10. You should be able to use them on a browser on your phone =).
  11. If it helps, I personally use these two: https://rocketmo.github.io/feh-damage-calc/ & http://andyiverson.me/apps/fehmasssimulator/ I don't use any calculations in-game, but I like using these to try out builds and such. Edit: Just a dusclaimer, I'm not sure if these are 100% correct, but so far, they look good.
  12. Dancer is always good catching people off-guard. Wings of Mercy and Swap are also very effective. I once got off-guard thinking I was out of range of attacks, only to have the enemy Eirika use swap on the enemy Nino to get her in range of my Azura... I think it's not so much about winning a fight (not that you said this, just stating it), but more about catching someone off-guard just once makes them give up quite a lot of times.
  13. +DEF is probably better, especially with Renewal. +SPD is also very welcome. I agree with @Arcanite that there's a lot of things that could work as a C-skill, and dependant on what C skills your other characters have.
  14. I run a team of Nino, Tharja, Eirika/Azura (or both if one of them is a bonus unit) and -insert bonus unit-, which right now is Anna, and has been my best group so far. Both Azura (Sapphire Lance+) and Anna have Triangle Adept and good RES, which makes ranged magical attacks that they have WTA over do very little damage. The real thing that safes me a lot of times on those particular maps though is having 3/4 Draw Back skills and a Sing available. On those maps, it becomes really easy to actually pick units off by attacking enemies > sing > move behind Azura and draw back. Nino (+SPD, Fury 3, Desperation) can kill every blue except Effie, who's likely not the first one to be on the front lines because movement issues. Tharja (+ATK, Fury 3, Swordbreaker) can kill any green and red sword unit. With the right buffs from Eirika/Nino/Fill, she can probably kill any archer aswell, though it's been weeks since I saw an archer in the Arena to be honest. But yeah, for your particular question about how to deal with ranged units when you only have melee units that have WTA, for me Triangle Adept is king.
  15. Depending on the buffs and nature, she's somewhat likely to one-shot him. I'm talking from personal experience though, so I'll do some calculations. Edit: neutral Tharja goes from 39hp to 20hp and one rounds neutral Hector. She probably needs too many (3+) buffs to one-shot him though, I've been spoiled with +atk Tharja and Eirika buffs.
  16. Very true, I agree with this. It would be a nice change of pace, and it could give healers a chance to be in the spotlights I reckon.
  17. Naturally, they'd need some heavy limitations in terms of attack range, stat reductions, movement reduction or even a mixture of all of these if they are going to consider implementing it. Personally, I don't see them adding it, but I ofcourse could be wrong.
  18. Looking at some maps and the fact that units move a max of 1-2-3 spaces instead of the usual 6-7-8 in FE games, I doubt we'll ever see that xD.
  19. It's not bad, Fury is a pretty good skill, it's just that he gets more out of things like Death Blow and/or Life or Death and such since it makes the most out of his player phase action, which is what he is all about. Fury will up his BST and give more points in the arena, for now, though.
  20. He's the only Killer Bow user I believe. Other than that and the resistance + Iceberg, nothing really.
  21. I know, but you were saying that it was a powerfull skill in it's own rights regarding to @Ryu Yuki's comment on how she could have used Fury units to up her BST xD. Yeah, I'm running into similar lvl.40+10 stuff when I use three Fury units. Using two Fury units I can reliabily clear it deathless, but three Fury units seems like it might be too much for now, mainly because I didn't have enough SP on those characters to get more than their inherited Fury skill ;_;. The lava map is indeed pretty annoying at times, though I'd take that one over the previous one that made you spawn two units bottom left and top right of the map.
  22. He could be, he supposedly has the highest stat total out of all infantry units (-armors -dragons) with 162. He just doesn't stand out. He has good attack and defence, and decent everything else. But Ephraim and to some extent Shareena just outclass him slightly because of their weapons.
  23. It probably will be when the April patch hits, for now it's a liability in Arena. It makes it more fun because of the difficulty however, though =).
  24. Yeah, a loooooot of people seem to be in the 4.400 - 4.650 bracket. I just went from 4.550 to 4.619, a 69 point increase, and went from rank 4.649 to rank 1.140
  25. Are we talking about the infamous Quadsuna here (big thing on reddit)? With 40 speed (+SPD nature), she can indeed quad-attack a lot of things, though that +SPD is really important for that. Also, I don't know about you guys, but I see plenty of stuff with 35+ SPD in the arena. On average she could quad a lot, but people generally put a high emphasis on using units with high speed and +SPD natures, not to mention running things like LOD and/or Fury. This is my personal experience, though.
