  1. DEPENDS ON THE SITUATION. I TEND TO SEE LESS AND LESS ARCHERS IN ARENA, IT USED TO BE FILLED WITH TAKUMI'S BUT NOW THERE'S A LOT OF NINO'S AND EIRIKA'S FOR ME. I'D TAKE FURY IF IT'S THE SAME CASE FOR YOU. What do you guys like better on +SPD -HP Nino btw, Fury + Desperation or Fury + Vantage? I want her to be a nuke. I could also give her Life and Death, but I wonder what A skill would be best in that case.
  2. Does this count as a joke/meme? credit: Dragonith @ DeviantArt
  3. Did we know this already? I couldn't find it in the thread, but appearantly we hit all the goals in this battle. Reward? 10 orbs, 10 stamina potions and 5.000 feathers. Link:
  4. Totally agreed xD. I think PoR Ike might be the first one aswell and I'm hoping Micaiah will make an appearance soon too. I think double Ikes in a banner would be a horrible decision aswell, both for them as for my wallet :c.
  5. Not saying you deserve it, on the contrary, but... you're much more vocal and have a large group of characters you don't like. I personally don't mind it, but after the Xth time of hearing negativity about a few characters (for whatever reasons) while hearing about how unfair it is Ike isn't in the game yet, it can get slightly annoying for some people. I do agree with you though that I would like Ike to be in the game. Or at least some more Tellius characters, I would love to see some Laguz. Ike should also get three different units, but hopefully spread out over the lifespan of the game and not over a single year like you're referring to. That's my opinion atleast =).
  6. It's very questionable that the extra speed from Fury is what made you double quite some enemies or made you kill quite some things that needed that small point of extra damage. Let me explain: Say you go against an opponents that has the exact same units as you, boons and banes aswell. You give your unit Fury, the other unit has no A skill. Your 5* lvl.40 +SPD Marth now has 40 SPD. Because you gained 12 stats, the enemy you'll be matched with will be on average +6 merge levels higher than you (12 (gained stats from fury) / 2 (amount of stats gained on level up) = 6) to match your BST. The only difference is that Fury gives +3 to everything except HP, while merging also gives stats to HP. This means that all enemies stats will go up by 2,4 (12 stat points / 5 stat allocations). So at most, you'll be one SPD higher than the enemy. So you're right in the fact that it doesn't have to be entirely detrimental. That one speed could make you double against certain opponents. That one damage could indeep finish someone off, but since the enemy will get 2/3 HP, I wonder how likely that will be. It could also be good if the enemies merging levels aren't consistent (several high and low), but that could also be a bad thing. On the darker side of things, the enemy can actually have A skills like Deathblow and the like, while not getting 6 damage to their face after each battle.
  7. I guess with things like Sol or either draining life, she could be a bat indeed. (Sorry, couldn't resist >.>)
  8. Surething, as long as people see it and can get help, I don't care in which thread it happens =P.
  9. I took screenshots for both difficulties of all enemies. I'll make a 'Michalis preparation thread!' or something similar when I get back from work (if noone else does it before me atleast xD) where we/people can work together for those who have trouble with it this time.
  10. Understandable. I really like the thoughts and reasoning behind your team, it seems well put together. If you have enough SP on Jaffar (you're still summoning a lot, right? Or is/was it just blues for Ninian?) than you might want to give him Kagero's dagger for a lot of one-round kills with either +ATK or +SPD. Personally I like fielding both Julia and Anna together, since I'm sensing a shift in the meta from red swords to blue lances/tomes to counter the red sword meta. Eirika/Linde/Nino/Azura is what I'm seeing a lot of recently, with Azura being replaced by Ephraim or Ninian in some cases. This is purely personal experience though.
  11. Before Inherit Skill got implemented, I got around 1-2 Defense wins a week. Nowadays, I get around 5-10 a day. I figure it's because a lot of people run Fury on their units, which is detrimental in fights, but good for their scores if they can manage to go deathless. What about switching Reinhardt for Anna? You already have M!Robin for blue magic, though he's ofcourse much less strong offensively than Reinhardt. Do you want to keep two blue units for the red sword meta? That does seem to be declining to me, though.
  12. New Highscore! Pretty happy with it, but I might try and replace Shareena / Linde with two Fury users to get an even higher score. Games are getting more and more tough though.
  13. So, the limit for gaining SP against generic enemies is -6 levels. The limit for gaining SP against FE Heroes is -8 levels. I think this helps a lot of people, thank you for the hard work =). P.S. Those japanese lines sound great, I'm a bit jealous >.>
  14. Same for me, no way I can do this during work. Oh well, good luck to everyone else though =3.
  15. Personally, this is mine: I already had Speed +3 on her at 4*'s before Skill Inheritance got added, and I thought it would be a waste to pick something else. Plus, more speed is never bad. For the rest, I put a lot of worth on utility skills as Draw Back (which I use on every character almost) and Drag back. Moonbow is just one of the best skills in general I believe because of the low CD.
  16. Hmm, I'm training her up with 5* Shareena, Anna and Tharja, all of which I leveled to lvl.40 on 4*'s aswell, so it's not that hard for me since I can just feed her the kills that my other units just barely can't finish off.
  17. It's what I'm personally doing. I'm upgrading a three star Nino three times, from level 1 to level 40 to get the max SP. How much you need is dependant on the amount of different skills you want inherit. Most inheritable skills are 525SP. Most active skills are 225SP and passive skills depend. If you want Galeforce/Aether, that'll be a minimum of 750 as well. You even need Luna/Sol for Aether. Then there's the weapons. So yeah, you'll need a lot if you want to completely customize a unit.
  18. Inherit skills makes it easier for a lot of people to score higher I assume. Still, you'll get all the offensive rewards, including the ones that recently got added, congrats! =)
  19. It should work, but I haven't tested it myself. I've seen some Robin's with TA in the Arena, but didn't have a Takumi with me to try it out, unfortunuatly. Edit: According to some discussion on Reddit, it does indeed work like that.
  20. Not that I question your research, but comparing it to the wiki, it seems +RES -ATK. Still, you're right that it could be much much better (or worse, depending on how you look at it)
  21. This was from my first battle and it's been all kinds of things like this. Basically, LV.40+10's with all skills filled in and maxed. Since then I've played around 40-50 matches or so and I'd say the most I've fought were Nino + Eirika + Azura + Hector (with Pivot to keep up)/Linde/Takumi (with Vantage ofcourse). It's not only that they actually have an A skill, it's also that you get 6 damage to you after every battle and that they have all skill options filled and maxed. +4 to all stats is huge. It keeps you or the enemy from doubling or getting doubled. It takes 4 less damage while dealing 4 more, even more with effective bonusses, and you might even get an extra attack from the increased speed. Please don't look down on it or you'll regret it xD.
  22. Just putting what I wrote in the other thread here aswell, since this seems to be the better topic for it and I often see Fury discussed/recommended. (Just taking your comment as an example Elie, no bad intentions ^^ )
