I tend to class change them to classes with low defense then leave them out in the open.. I also lure them to my main army. I think it's an interesting feature personally, but oh well.

I'm really not seeing the point of these debates... some people are saying "these guys are so much better overall, but my character can be useful too!" (unless I'm misinterpreting) or something to that extent. Why...? Isn't the point of a debate to prove that A > B?

Well NM is precisely what we're arguing so... I also think Cord might be better as a Fighter too because of Strength and Speed (same reason as Barst). 9 base speed is enough to double with the Iron Axe at that point in time, and he has good strength and speed growths too. So really they also have to compete with Ogma, so it's likely one of them can get it. I see the Barst thing. I would still switch back to Fighter after about 10 level ups just so he can still have good speed, while actually retaining a strength lead. But that's why he's above Ogma, anyway.

I'm terrible with tactics and I got 536, and I A ranked everything except Funds (which I didn't A rank because I was too lazy to get my thieves to steal the promotion items later on)

To be fair, only Ogma and Cord are going to want to compete with it at best. Zagaro and Wolf are good with anything, and Barst is raping as a Fighter; I'd imagine Mercenary would stunt his strength growth and actually make him worse. Maybe Caesar too, but then you have more slots so there's a bit less competition.

Lets look at it this way. Haar is Haar for 2-P, Leanne is Haar and Elincia (just a wild guess). That's cool. Leanne is two units who have a tough time with enemy wyverns with high defense, and don't even do much damage to start. Until Haar comes in. Then she's Haar and another unit. Then, Haar exists for the entirety of the GMs in Part III. Reyson can at least negate the availability gap with four units, as well as having somewhat stellar availability; Leanne is available for only one chapter and does well in that chapter (minus the stone throwers that kill her in two shots) whereas Haar is doing quite well for every other chapter. She does better in Part IV presuming you put Haar with the Silver Army, but she also has a Purge tome to fear in 4-3 (they both do, but I'd reckon they're more likely to snipe the one they can kill in one round) whereas Haar can take like one attack from it and still carry on fine. Final Chapter, Leanne > Haar. But guess what? Haar's beating her in availability and his stellar use during the amount of chapters she has over her, and they all pretty much bear equal weight (although I'd argue the Part IV chapters hold a bit more weight - not enough to keep Leanne above Haar).

From a quick glance, that's the only real advantage Daros has over Bord. Bord only has one less Speed as a Mercenary, and he has that huge support that gives him a bunch of avoid that he might find lovely.

I'm not sure why you should "propose" it, just put it up and if people have objections they'll list and hopefully argue them...

I don't like bringing things up again but... it would be so much easier if you constantly updated the first page with the tier list, as opposed to an update every x pages or something. Then it's a lot easier, because the front page doesn't reflect the new Bottom tier, as well as a couple other edits.

Also making the rest of the ranks a joke, and it could've even sped up the tactics for every other chapter because your units are raping everything. Hard.Obviously Funds, Power, EXP are getting powered up while Survival's basically a non-rank...

As far as I'm aware Samson starts 9 levels higher than Astram with 2 more Str/Spd, 1 more Def and 2 less HP. All gaps are going to close pretty quickly considering how Astram's got better growths in all those departments except Spd and Def. But plenty of time to catch up.

I wouldn't quit switch Gordin and Norne considering Gordin's defense, but Norne is definitely better.
