Yeah, if you pay attention while in battle, you'll sometime see something like a berry tree(on a route) or a rock pillar(in a cave) behind the wild pokemon. If you use a certain move(things like razor leaf or air cutter), you'll receive an item. More details here. I agree about the Battle Maison. It seems a lot more forgiving than previous Battle Facilities and gives a good amount of BP. My only complaint is that you can't do multi-battles with a friend via Wi-Fi(a feature that was in previous games, I heard)

I'm pretty large in the palette of music I listen to. My favorite type is what is usually referred to as alternative rock, with my favorite groups being Jimmy Eat World and Coldplay. Other than that, I like game/movie/anime OST, classical music, pop rock, electronic music, 'old music'(i.e. Billy Joel, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, Queen. I call it 'old music' because a lot of people of my age refer to it as such, /sigh). What I dislike are dance songs(I had murderous thought when I heard the complete butcher that was a dance remix of Coldplay's 'The Scientist') and popular music(I can't stand most Katy Perry, 'hey I just met you' and things like that, which is frustrating since these songs are made to be earworms), rap in most of its form(my brother's been listening to a lot of Macklemore, which I find ok), country and metal(it may be because my ear is untrained, but I'm usually not able to find the melody when it's drowned by screaming about darkness, double bass drums and 5 guitars playing as fast as possible. There's some metal song that I like, but they often have more melodious elements).

I wanted to play this game before, but after hearing this cover of Gusty Garden Galaxy, I NEED to play this game. So sad I don't have a Wii U Xd

I had 2 3IV arons in the daycare and I was hatching my second batch when the last egg happened to be a Shiny Aron with outstanding potential and perfect Defense, Special Defense and Speed IV. Then the following batch, I got a perfect(six 31IVs!) Aron.

Congratulations on beating your first Fire Emblem game in a situation where most people would have given up! I have to agree with the previous poster. There is still a lot of content for you to discover in Awakening thanks to all the children characters, support conversations and post-game DLC, if it's your thing. I've had this game for nearly a year and I'm still playing it and I plan to play it for a very long time to see all it has to offer(including the higher difficulties. Don't know if I'm masochistic enough for Lunatic+ yet)

When I see that map of the States, I'm glad to be Canadian. 10 provinces and 3 territories, all with varied shapes. Actually, Toronto is Ontario's metropolis(It's also Canada's most populous city) and capital. Speaking of Metropolis, I find it kinda sad when you consider that the official population of Tokyo's metropolitan area is bigger than the entire population of Canada...

I haven't been able to have a battle yet. I've been extremely busy with schoolwork the last few days and I've been playing FE:A in my spare time. I've added everyone in group 2 and I'd be able to battle until 11pm tonight and probably from 6:30pm to 11pkm tomorrow, I'll have to wait and see for later in the week.

Love that Mu X3 and Yarne is just adorable. Really like Owain, Lucina and Brady too.

I personally like Owain, but I think he gets way too much love from some people. Seeing some rabids fan claim that Owain should have replaced Marth in the next smash really drove that point to me. He's a nice and funny secondary character, not a mascot of the series(would be like if people wanted Linebeck to replace Link) As for Tharja, I don't especially like her, but I don't hate her.

I've played 200hrs in Pokemon Y, mainly because of IV breeding and leaving my 3DS open for internet(and sticking a penny under the circle pad to farm Happiness). It's still not as much as Awakening though(379hrs)

It's a program someone on Smogon(I think) posted. If you download it, then connect your computer to ethernet, it will create a Wi-Fi hotspot that is attuned to 3DS. If you then connect your 3DS to it, you'll be able to see IV, EVs as well as your trainer and pokemon shiny values, even for eggs. Then, if you trade someone an egg which shiny value match their trainer value, the pokemon will hatch as a shiny. So basically, if you know someone with your eggs shiny value, you're basically guaranteed a shiny. And people are creating a database of Trainer Shiny value(it actually might be interesting to add these values to the Friend Code thread for the SF pokemon players if this program gets big) Don't have the program, just read/watch infos about it. I'm having a lot of trouble IV breeding. I currently have two 3IV parents which share two perfect stats and all their kids keep hatching as 2-3 IVs. I've been at this for 2 hours!

My shiny aggron still fills special to me. In fact, I'm quite happy that they're more 'common'(1/4000 still isn't that common). I personally never had seen a wild shiny despite spending hours upon hours playing pokemon since Gen 3(played the first 2 gens on emulator). This gen gave me 2 shinies and they feel special anyway.

Wait, isn't the chance to get a shiny the same no matter how many encounter you get? I mean, even if you were to hatch 1366, you wouldn't be guaranteed to get a shiny because each egg has 1/1366 to be shiny. So even after 1365 eggs, the 1366 still has only 1/1366 chance of being shiny. Sorry if I'm wrong, but I remember reading something regarding the chance of getting a shiny that said basically this.

I think it did. I remember reading on serebii that in gen 5, with the Masuda Method and the shiny charm, the odds were down to around 1/1000. (and apparently, the odds of finding a 'normal' shiny are better this gen)

I got you all beaten in terms of luck. I got a shiny aron on my 20th egg WITHOUTH the Masuda method /brag The shiny aron did have a japanese aggron as is grandpa though

I have a Def/SpA/SpD bold shellos as well as a timid telepathy noibat with perfect HP and Def, both females. As for what I want, would you happen to have some mawhiles? If not, what do you have to offer?

I have plenty of shellos with perfect IVs varying from 2-3.
