  1. The nation, definitely. Personal stuff shouldn't affect what is the best for the people you're in charge of. It requires a lot of bravery to do that, though, which is the reason why it is so hard to be a good leader. ... Regarding Frozen... The parents' intention was fine. It's their responsibility to prevent catastrophes in the kingdom. Teaching Elsa how to control her powers is obviously the best solution. However, what wasn't right is how they handled it. They shouldn't have scared Elsa of herself, nor should've they expected her to repress her emotions. They didn't understand how psychology or Elsa's powers work. In that way, they worsened the situation, which is why they're so badly regarded by the fandom.
  2. the second one looks really cool. keep up the good work, oracle!
  3. HYPED SHUT UP AND TAKE MAH MONEY *throws his wallet at the screen* Y AREN'T U TAKING MAH MONEY?!!
  4. - The Adventure of Link is superior in every way to the original Legend of Zelda. - Call of Duty is overhated. From what I've played, they tend to be good games. What people should be annoyed of is the fanbase, not the games. - On that point, I find it hypocritical that people dismiss Call of Duty, yet at the same time are in love with Megaman, considering that it follows the same pattern. If anything, I believe that Megaman was the Call of Duty of its generation. - Blazing Sword is the worst Fire Emblem ever designed, with crappy maps and crappy storyline. - In Fire Emblem Gaiden, Claire >>>> Alm. Alm has a strong earlygame, but Claire Lv12/1 crushes the game with her omg-wtf 40 HP, 12 Def and innate effectiveness against monsters. - I think Ena from Path of Radiance is underrated, considering that she saves our sorry asses in 0% growths. - Plan 9 of Outer Space is so utterly bad, it's good. - Blue Velvet sucks, and is massively overrated. The same goes for Moulin Rouge! - The Silence of the Lambs shouldn't have won the Oscar. Not when JFK and Beauty and the Beast were also nominated. - Princess and the Frog's style and acting + Tangled's solid storyline + Wreck-it-Ralph's characters and themes = Frozen. - Apocalypse Now > The Godfather. - Cockfight roosters > Cats > Dogs in awesomeness. - Atticus Finch is the most badass individual in all media. - Revolutionary Girl Utena > Neon Genesis Evangelion. - Nausicaä from Nausicaä of the Valley of Wind is a Mary Sue done right. - "Defying Gravity" from Wicked > "Let It Go" from Frozen. - Jane Austen's work is massively overrated. - I don't like feminism.
  5. - Gonzalez (FE6): Touching story, and nice offensive parameters. It's fun to use him after promotion if one's not playing efficiently. It's a pity that his base speed and accuracy blow, and his promotion item is so highly contested. - Vaida (FE7) / Haar (FE9): Pretty much the same in terms of net utility, I guess. Their availability sucks, and that prevents them from having a major impact in their games. It's fun to use them when they're around. - Ena (FE9): She's considered the worst unit in the game, yet she still saves our sorry asses in FE9 0% growths. That's enough to put her on the list.
  6. 1.- Chest Keys exist for the cited chapters, rendering a second less durable thief obsolete. Also, there are maps where having many fliers is useful. Chapters 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 21, 23 come to mind. While there's no reason to use Shanna over the other fliers, there's also no reason not to use Shanna. 2.- Being available earlier means more opportunities to contribute. Chapter 2 is a big one. Chapter 7 requires Shanna to get the villages. Chapter 8 is pony-fest. Chapter 8x requires Shanna to traverse through the canyon. Chapter 9, 10 and 11 have rivers or walls, so Shanna is useful. Right there are 7 chapters of unique utility before Tate joins.
  7. I'd personally live in the country. I don't enjoy living in a city.
  8. FE1!Marth doesn't suck at all. In fact, he's very impressive. Or was it supposed to reflect that no one is as good as FE1!Marth? idk The rest is funny. I might try to do one of these eventually.
  9. Defying Gravity > Let it Go. *runs away*
  10. frozen didn't make me cry, but I still find it to be a very well made film. on par with the wind rises on emotional level, imo. though there's stuff that could've been made better, especially in the last third. 8.5/10 I think both are tied for my favorite film of last year. I don't remember having been so invested in a disney film since fantasia and beauty and the beast, though frozen is definitely not as good as those. the only films I've ever cried at were the passion of jeanne d'arc and tokyo story. as for the wall project, I guess I'm going to make a brick wicked/frozen related.
  11. - stay off the interwebz - Make sure your room is clean. It is impossible to learn adequately in an unorganized place. - Use a calender and write down the important days. Learn your stuff days or even weeks before the exam, many times. I remember I had to prepare myself for a month for my finals. - Write notes about the stuff you're learning, or even a summary. If you've to write a composition for a exam, that's particularly useful because you already know which sentences you can use. - Try to do a presentation about the stuff you're learning in front of a mirror. - Don't try to study right after lunch or dinner. You won't concentrate yourself. - Don't try to study if you feel tired. It won't work. - If you have friends have the possibility to study with your friends, it is generally a good idea. As for homework... JUST DO IT. Sit down and make sure you finish everything without any sort of distraction.
  12. I lost the other turn in Chapter 4. Though I think I could've managed a 7-turn if I rigged a critical on Erik. I didn't know how to manipulate the RNG when I started the run.
  13. Congratulations, dondon! You finally finished this monster of a playthrough! Now you're two turns ahead of me. :( I'll be waiting for the commentary.
  14. Thanks! I've been making calculations. Considering demi band, in order to ORKO Ashnard, Ena seems to need: +2 energy drops (in order to reach 49 atk with resolve for a ORKO if double critical) +2 speedwings (in order to reach 32 AS with resolve for doubling ashnard's 28 AS) +2 angelic robes and +2 dracoshields (in order to reach 66 hp, 29 def, and survive two hits from ashnard's 60 atk) It must be very complicated.
  15. I didn't like music at all when I was younger. Then I started listening to classical music at 13. Afterwards, I started to hear soundtracks at 14. Videogames, films, anime, everything possible. I'm not informed at all about the current tendencies in music.
  16. what the title says How does one defeat Ashnard without Ike in 0% growths? Must I assume that one uses Resolve!Ena with a lot of statboosters, and then the laguz king kills Berserk Ashnard?
  17. Why isn't the gap between Gonzalez and Garret bigger? Gonzalez Lv11/1 is plausible when Garret appears, and can double attack more stuff than Garret does (16 AS vs 11 AS). Now that I think about it, what does Garret exactly do in order to be better than Roy (early Rapier chip) or Treck (rescuebot).
  18. Nope, there's no game that is structurally perfect, and as much as I love Fire Emblem, I don't think this series can be an exception.
  19. who r u? Seriously though, people notice your posts, don't worry.
  20. #1. Rutger (FE6) #2. Mia (FE10) #3. Shiva (FE5) #4. Zihark (FE10) #5. Shanan (FE4)
