Oh, so conquered factions can come back if their conquerors have fallen and they rebel, interesting. Hm, I'd wonder then if the Mughals falls before all it's territory is taken...

Yeah. And when that friendly status turns hostile....... it'll be the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny.

Yeah, but only if it's the conquered faction's province that is rebelling. So of Scotland rebels, we won't get the British back. Instead, the Scotland faction will arise. There's a lot of minor factions in the game that only appear during rebellion in the special province.

Yeah, I was aware of new factions forming, though not about old ones returning, so I was surprised seeing Gran Columbia back, for example. I thought once it was gone, it's gone for good, but now I see that it's not the case; not to mention that, allowed or not in the game, it wouldn't make sense that they couldn't return in that case.

Heh, seeing those pictures of the faction list, it's funny to see we're still labeled as a Minor Nation. Yeah right... :lol:

Our armies await at the borders of the Mughal Empire and its colonies. Our navies are ready to take control of their docks and unload all troops on their cities. On this Earth, there can only be ONE nation.

Y'know, you'd think that the Mughals would've put up a tougher fight. They controlled a lot of land, and, being one of only two factions left, must have seen a massive war coming. Three years to conquer a good chunk of the real US and all of the Indian subcontinent? Pitiful, Mughals, you should be ashamed. The Russians and Polish were much harder (Battle of Finland, anyone?) and they had much less land.

I have a few questions, Grandmaster Skitarii. How do you plan on getting all of these peoples to follow your church? It's such a massive area with so many religions. Other question: What're you gonna do next?

I was planning on holding off the posting until tomorrow, but I was too excited to feel tired. (it was 4 am when I finished posting) Indeed, the Knights of St. John/Order of the Hospitaller/Malta now rule the world. And it's not like an evil dictatorship or anything, the first and foremost creed of the Knights Hospitaller is to provide aid and shelter to pilgrims. Since we're sort of in the modern world, I think we'll just try and help develop our regions and stuff....make people's lives a bit better. Of course, and instill discipline...and...etc.

Y'know, you'd think that the Mughals would've put up a tougher fight. They controlled a lot of land, and, being one of only two factions left, must have seen a massive war coming. I would've lost that province if they'd just get their gear together and put up an all-out siege assault. of course, doing that would've only prolonged their survival by maybe 3-4 turns since all the veterans from Eastern Europe were already making their way down to the India subcontinent. I suspect that it could be that the Polish and Russians owned far richer land, whereas half the India regions were merely adequate/poor land. But that reason isn't quite plausible either, since Russia's lands were big but poor, but they could've been receiving military aid from Poland-Lithuania....or maybe they dominated a lot of the trade nodes in the minor trade theaters.

Getting peoples to follow my church? Well I've got plenty of missionaries, but really religion is the least of my concerns (secular humanism ftw). I'd prefer trying to raise region wealth and pacifying dissent.

What am I going to do next? For sure I want to take a break from the gunpowder age, really it does get mighty tiring (or maybe I'm slightly burnt out) when I put most of my time into Empire Total War. It's a great game and all, but maybe I have forced myself into it a lot. I don't think I'll be continuing the Empire Total War LP; if I do get into the gunpowder age again, it'll most likely happen if I buy Napoleon: Total War (and trying the WWI mod)

I'd like to play around with the Ikko-Ikki for Shogun 2 Total War, but what I really want to do is to open up a new thread for a new total war. Sorry Rewjeo! It's just that....when I learned the Ikko-Ikki can't get Metsuke to bribe people around, I was actually kind of disappointed..... I mean having provinces join you simply because their rebels took over the area is really an awesome feature (since you can claim diplomatic innocence that you didn't declare war) but I miss the bribing. I was thinking I wanted to play the one clan with a Metsuke bonus, then I can bribe as many Ikko-Ikki units to my side as I want....as well as bribe the faction specialized units and such.

There should be an Excel file attached detailing the exploits of our named units.....

For the Royal Army of Malta though, there weren't many entries since......well I only recorded the records of units that were specifically named, but not random names that were suggested and such......

Well, the Mughals were a cavalry heavy-army. Cavalry kinda suck when it comes to siege battles, and most of the time my armies were either staying in comfortable positions within forts while they were trying to get me to come out and have a field battle with them, where they may dominate. Their infantry don't suck, but they're not that good either, instead relying on pinning my guys while their cavalry go around and go for rear attacks and whatnot. i simply avoided their strengths and made them fight on my terms....mostly. There were a few defeats, but nothing too serious.

Nothing really, I'd be disbanding units left and right, fixing up facilities damaged in raids..... I don't feel like causing a rebellion in my own lands either.

Well, the dates wouldn't be too hard to get, given that all of the important stuff is documented in this topic. And yes, that was a compliment.

Hahaha...well I'm a bit too lazy to get them.....

Anyways, it's kinda fun to play as something that's not quite a country. I mean, I know Malta was, but mostly we're playing as an order of knights....well they used to be knights anyways. Hope you guys enjoyed this.
