So... here's the problem.

Poor guy. Society needs to learn that not all girls are weak and it's okay for guys to lose to girls and not feel ashamed of themselves. It's not so much the guy's fault for being "weak", but some chicks are just really fucking strong. I myself could out legpress most guys in my gym class in high school, and the looks on their faces when they saw me do what they couldn't was kinda funny. Mind, they weren't doing something light, either. I wasn't the only one, either. A friend of mine who did soccer had similar leg strength.

Wrestling also has really awkward body-to-body contact, though, as do some grappling forms of martial arts. One of my guy friends and I went to try out Jiujitsu, but as both of us have significant other's that are not each other, doing the Jiujitsu grapples felt extremely weird with each other so we went back to stuff that's less close-contact.

Anime does a pretty good job of making girls pretty damn strong. It is how it is though, and it'll take a few generations for those ideals to even change slightly. I remember there was a girl who could bench press more than most of the guys in my gym class (but not me of course). There are definitely a few really strong girls out there, but I think since a lot of guys don't really go for those types of girls (it's seen as more masculine after all) some girls try to stay away from it.

You're right, and I didn't think it was a perfect comparison, but as close to a real life experience as I could get. Other times is when I was younger and I'd play coed (american) football in my neighborhood, tackling girls felt really awkward. You don't want to grab too high or too low so you don't touch their breasts or ass, so you gotta be all super careful, but at the same time actually knock them down. Then the girls don't have to think so hard about it and try to lay you out. Double standards.

Anime's so polarised, though. there's the really strong kind, and there's the superuseless kind with the extremely high pitched annoying voice >____<

Well, I guess it's just up to the person, really. Some girls want the guy to be stronger, others would be angry if the guy she's dating can't accept strong women and would just dump him. All comes to personal preference. I don't think a girl should have to change to a "more feminine" standard just to appeal to men, when there are guys out there who are accepting of strong women. I just think that no matter the gender, they shouldn't be pressured to have to conform to the standards of strength.

Well we do have to be careful not to accidentally hit you guys in the crotch. :P

From what I've heard it hurts like fuck and I don't want any man to go through that pain unless they did something extremely unforgivable, which theoretically shouldn't happen in a sports game (unforgivable things that is).

Idk some of us are short enough to accidentally that XD

I really hate fraternities and sororities. I mean ... seriously, what is the point of having them? But then again, I was the type of person who only stuck with people who did none of that stuff and didn't pay attention to anyone else's social lives.

What stuff do we do again?

If you mean all the partying, drinking and fucking that has been previously mentioned, duh. But that's everyone.

If there's something else I'm missing out on though that we do that you know about, let me know. Maybe it's our higher than non-fraternity/sorority member GPAs or the copious amounts of service work we do.

But I'm betting on the drinking/fucking part.

Oh and correct on sororities having more sparkles.

hey lumi how do you feel about those anime and vns and things with like no men and only strong women but they're full of fanservice like queen's blade/ikkitousen/shin koihime musou

I don't watch much anime honestly but really if the plot and characters are interesting enough I don't see much of a problem.

Not a fan of fanservice but I can deal, especially if it's not a terribly large amount. I'm more bothered if the anatomy is extremely off and by that I mean the head to waist proportion is smaller than 1 of if it's just drawn really badly. Like, there's acceptable anime anatomy, and then there's wtf.

I'm a little picky with artstyles. Not so much with content as long as it's good and has fighting and isn't porno.

I've never heard of them being higher, especially because of the extra stuff a frat has to do. It may depend on the college you go to, then- I go to a nerd college, where the people trying to get a more "legitimate college experience" (read: drinking, partying, fucking) join up in a frat/sorority as their only escape from a nerd school. There are some frats that do have good students, but I wouldn't say they have a higher-than-non-frat/soror GPA over at my school..

You're right, it always comes down to personal preference. I guess I just haven't met many women with your ideals, Lumi. Nothing wrong with that though. Actually, you remind me of a friend of mine. She's less than 5 feet tall and not even 100 lbs, but she's got heart and she'll beat the shit out of anyone who looks at her wrong. She intimidates quite a few guys as well. She's really nice though once you crack her shell. She's all about gender and racial equality as well...actually pretty much all equality. You two would probably get along great haha.

Girls I know don't seem to worry about that too much lol. Yeah it hurts like a bitch, you have no idea. The pain is indescribable tbh. Girls don't have it any easier though with the stuff they go through though. I'm one of the few guys that actually somewhat understand their pain based on going through similar things myself.

I hate how people tend to generalize all fraternities/sororities in a negative perspective. They're not all about being douches and bros like the Jimmy Tatro youtube videos. Face it, most people in college will party, drink, smoke, have sex, etc. You're not gonna change that. Some fraternities/sororities just focus on the parties, but most are big in community service, fundraising for good causes, and just enhancing the social experience of college. It's a great way to meet cool people with similar interests. I'm not in a fraternity, but I did think about joining one for a while before I decided against it.

EDIT: Fraternities/sororities also look good on your resume and can get you some good business connections. Even people at "nerd schools" will join up with them to put it on their resumes (and have easier access to the parties of course).

It does sound like we'd get along, yeah~ :D

That's good. And yeah, I feel bad for every guy who undeservingly got kicked in the nuts. I have a few guy friends who had that happen to them D:

Your friend kind of sounds like a more intimidating version of me, Helios, right down to the height and weight. :XD: I'm trying to be more pacifistic nowadays.

you don't need to based on the three requirements you listed

Hey, I have extremely strong Christian values man.

I don't think "strong" and "feminine" are mutually exclusive :P:.

Alright, I see way too much weirdness in here, so. . .

Boron: If you're happy without a guy, that's fine. Maybe one will give you a figurative smack upside the head. Maybe not. Either way, if you're happy, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Lumi: I look like I could use an entire McDonald's worth of sandwiches, so I can't rely on beating guys up to scare them. Instead, I've found that self-confidence, as well as stating my major do a sufficient job. When I did spar, I couldn't give it my all, because I was afraid of injuring the other person. Really.

Helios: Sometimes, you have to let people. . .be. There will be times when you can see what will happen, but unless it's something drastic, it's probably best to keep it to yourself and watch it unfold. Just a suggestion~!

Excellen: Bring it.

You know from the ground it's still easy to hurt a guy one knee to the crotch is all it takes

Momentary stun, at best. Crotch shots are more likely to piss someone off than turn something around, unless they have very low pain tolerence, in which case why the hell are they starting a fight in the first place.

Momentary stun is enough time to make a getaway in a situation where you need to. And how strong are the forces we're dealing with here to that certain area? I'm personally not talking about some sissy kick there.

It isn't, hence why I stuck it in quotes since I'm too lazy to type out "what society's perception of femininity is"

[spoiler=sex sex sex]To be sure, sexuality, both orientation and drive, is malleable over lifetimes. That doesn't exactly make it a choice, it's not so brittle it changes with the wind, and sometimes what people feel at one point really is true to the extent of it being part of their identity, but not everybody has the minor luxury of knowing themselves that well from early in their life on.

[spoiler=tmi tmi tmi seriously dude why]I underestimated sex until I'd had it a second time (had never climaxed before then, literally couldn't masturbate when I tried). It took getting past some hangups to even start.

Well you were talking about a situation where he'd have you pinned to the floor, so I doubt it would be enough, unfortunately, and then you'd end up with a very angry man who has you pinned to the floor. As for how strong a kick, I had assumed a full force kick.
