Parent Teacher is in a week, but I guarantee it will go horribly.

Mother is going, for the first time in two years, because she is "concerned that a grade 11 student does not have enough homework". Well, there's been certinly more than enough homework, but I haven't been telling her about it because she's obsessive about it. Not that I haven't been doing it, I do all the homework that ends up being due on time. Occasionally I don't bother with homework I know the teacher isn't going to check. When I do tell her about it she bugs me constantly about it, and wants to see it every step of the way. And sometimes she tries to "make improvements", which I feel makes the work not my own. Not to mention because of my grade history and me skipping a grade she says marks <90% are unacceptable, and even when I got a 91% on a math test, she said "that's low for you". On yesterdays math test I got an 80%. I don't intend on letting her know about that.

Not to mention I talk in class all the time when we're doing work. I listen during instruction periods.

Shin, also known as Dokutayuu or Parco Folgore, was getting ready for bed. It had been an extremely long day. Not only did he have classes, but he had been stuck watching children in the evening, too -- well into the time that he usually took to visit Serenes Forest. He turned on his laptop and waited for it to load, then logged onto the Serenes Forest site. But a tired yawn made him change his plans and decide to just visit SF in the morning.

Just then, he noticed that he had a new message in his inbox. It was from Darros, or whatever his name was at the moment, and it was titled, "So this reeks of fish ..." It had also been sent to four other people. Curious as to the contents of such a message, Shin was about to open the PM ... only to be thwarted by another yawn. He was really tired.

"Oh, to heck with it," he muttered. He then shut off his laptop and went to bed. Whatever Darros had to say, surely it could wait until the morning.

March 29, 7:45 PM -- Eastern Standard Time

This. I remember that Tangerine and Balcerzak both showed up in the chat room that day. Although ... I don't think Bal said anything, it was mostly Tangerine. So that's why he didn't say anything in the story -- I don't remember him saying anything.

Also, the next part of the story will be up anytime between now and Friday. Most likely late Thursday to Friday. But we'll see.
