It's not the best, but... it's passable. Also, that recolor should never have been brought up. I admit, it looks wonderful, though. It shames me as a portrait maker. But enough of the idle chatter. Arch Posted January 10, 2013 Author Share Posted January 10, 2013 Just wanted to give y'all a status update on the release. My original goal was to have everything squared away by today and release it on the 12th (the end of my winter break). This ended up not panning out; I've been without a personal laptop for about two weeks, which cut my ability to work on the project drastically, and we've been running into some technical difficulties with the final boss animation (which promises to be quite a treat). So here's the definitive status of EN: everything sans the Final Tale and some bonus content is complete. The Final Tale needs its ending event and boss battle to be written/coded. I still need a thorough beta-testing, since I want as flawless a release as possible (too many times where I've had 10+ revision patches, never again). All in all, we're quite close to finishing and having this puppy released. Thanks for your patience and support, it won't be too much longer! I hope you all enjoy the game when it finally comes out! Questions on achievements: 1) Dastard: Has anyone actually completed this successfully? I read earlier it's supposed to be 10-turned but closest I could get was 12 through RNG abuse and just shoving Marcus and Isobora forward on both sides with a crit abuse on one of the starting healers. Maybe I can get lower ferrying Ninian or giving boots to a horse unit instead of Eliwood. I'll try a run after this post. 2) Emblemologist: I found the Aged Scroll, the Strange Orb and the Rusty Sword but it still didn't unlock. Is there some method to this or perhaps a bug? I just used the highest luck unit (Erk capped) and sat on the patches. Maybe it's supposed to be done with a specific unit or transferred all to one? 3) Trororo: Is this done during Poisoned Madness? Where do you attain chest keys? 4) Looking for Love: Is this possible in its current state? I think I had everyone in the Lyn tale talk (Sain-Kent, Florina-Sain, Pradas-Lyn, Guy-Pradas) and no dice Oh, and the Pent Gaiden/Renault Tile thing was stupidly obscure. I'll try a run after this post. you need to be a bit more creative with your rescue chains i think i managed to pull off 9 or so without rng abuse (iirc the record is ~8?) 2) Emblemologist: I found the Aged Scroll, the Strange Orb and the Rusty Sword but it still didn't unlock. Also I don't remember how I found it but I think Canas or Hawkeye just randomly picked it up or started with it?
