I was trying to bait a confession by pretending to be 3rd party, but I didn't anticipate Manix publicizing it even as town. I decided to get creative and publicly claim as only able to send and receive 1 message so I could also pretend to be 3rd party on the side to lure out scum, but I didn't read my role pm right and thought I could receive messages anonymously. When Manix posted that he couldn't reply, I was like fuck, and then realized anyone who wants to send me a message has to specify me as the target. At this point, I was planning to full claim after Paperblade sent me whatever message just to see if he would reveal anything, but then Manix sent me a message, and that also went out the window. So yeah, I made up the messaging 3rd party and can actually send and receive 2 messages and currently have 1 and 1 left. Also, I figured since anyone who messages me has to specify me in the command, this basically clears me anyway, so I figured I can full claim without terrible backlash. This is a game based around a group of people making stupid accusations against each other, and if you are having trouble determining if an accusation is game related (ie "I think you are scummy because X") or personal, you aren't going to play well, and you're probably just going to miserable. What is in the quotation marks was exactly the message I received. Okay, so my next question is, doesn't this count as breaking the rule about quoting what the mod says in your PM? And that in order to get a reply, a player has to know my role is what mostly clears me. This would be highly detrimental to third party and the role itself is rather useless for a mafia team.
