HF Makalov Fanboy Kai
no denying Ma Chao was exceptionally gifted, tho i'd say that he's lacking in terms of accomplishments, more so when you compare others in the "Shu 5 tiger generals" to him, as he doesn't even come close to Huang Zhong and Zhang Fei's achievements. HF Makalov Fanboy Kai
Guan Yu was upset that Huang Zhong and Ma Chao were considered his equals iirc. Guan Yu also had a massive inflated Ego, with that said i honestly think that his complaints with Ma Chao were justified, maybe not to the same extent that he thought tho. This is true, and it also was what led to his demise, the guy is very interesting though.

The tale of the Three Brothers always was inspiring to me, its why I like people like Zhou Yu, Zhuge Liang, Xiahou Dun, Zhou Tai, Lu Su, Jiang Wei (despite you know betraying Wei, was very true Shy loyalist), Deng Ai. Could name some others too yeah
JSND Alter Dragon Boner
You can't spell "loyalty" without Dian Wei. Seriously those dw 7 cutscene about Dian Wei and cao Cao is probably the best thing KOEI ever made Edited October 30, 2015 by JSND
Lance Masayoshi
the cutscenes in DW7 are too sad but Koei made the games to be extremely fucking dark So I can't complain too much

Starman
Telling some others of DW1 had me wondering.. what would be the major thoughts here if Dynasty Warriors continued being a fighting game like the first one?
Original Alear
Guan Yu was upset that Huang Zhong and Ma Chao were considered his equals iirc. I believe that he was only upset about huang zhong. Which is funny, because the book portrays huang zhong as a challenging opponent for guan yu when they fight earlier on. Kao
If I ever adopt a pet, it's probably going to be an animal missing an eye. Maybe a cat. I'll name it Meow-hou Dun. Or Nya-samune Date. "Is that your cat's Halloween costume?" "No, that's his everyday attire." *Cat scimitar strapped to his back*
Soledai
You know something like that is a costume in DW8 Empires, correct? Masiamune Date, to be specific
Lance Masayoshi
So how about that Zhao Yun 7up DLC
Kao
(I'm aware. I just didn't remember it at the time.) I'd buy all the DLC if I had the funds. ...except maybe the Strikeforce costumes in WO3. Those are ugly.
Soledai
So how about that Zhao Yun 7up DLC I can believe it. They definitely had 7up back then
Lance Masayoshi
The Zhong Hui Strikeforce DLC character is amazing though I can believe it. They definitely had 7up back then>v>
Jedi
So, whats everyones favorite Warriors soundtrack? I absolutely love most of the music in the warriors games, with Great Red Spirit from DW5 being my personal favorite track, but I really enjoy DW7's ost. Lance Masayoshi
DW8 and SW4 are the soundtracks I love(I have them on my phone for Christ sake) but 7 is also good. Warriors Orochi 3 is another competitor as well.
Soledai
DW5, DW7, SW1. Especially DW7 because it has Secret Strategy.
Original Alear
Ugh. I spent like 10 minutes selling off excess weapons in DW8 XL's ambition mode. Then I quit, forgetting to save, and now I need to do it again to make room for new weapons.
Soledai
My condolences, I've had that happen to me more times than I remember. But doesn't DW8XL have an autosave feature?
Lance Masayoshi
But doesn't DW8XL have an autosave feature? yes only occurs during story mode though
