Some Jerk Posted August 2 Share Posted August 2 Attuned Triandra on the Hero Fest was a nice surprise (and a funny one, since for today only, she's on three separate banners). The good news is that it enabled me to get her up to +9 along with Attuned Peony from the revival banner! The bad news is that both of them utterly refuse to budge for that +10. It was when I got a third colorsharing Rearmed Sonya after a dry spell that I recognized I was having a "you're getting frustrated, time to stop spending" moment. Stopping just before the finish line feels so bad, but this isn't worth damaging my budget. (In fact I only went so hard because I had a surplus in the budget.) Seidr just doesn't seem to like me, I guess. Hrid ended up being [+Spd, -Atk], which is about as bad as it gets for him. My best Gullveig was the neutral spark. Nerthuz and Olivia both have a copy with a Spd Asset, which is good. Yukimura was my first copy of him, which is also cool. I'll pull on the second summer banner later this weekend. And as you can see, I ended up getting 5 copies of Petra (and another 5-star Clanne) before finally getting another Alear 117 pulls later. 7.1% focus rate is pretty ridiculous, about 8 pulls above average most of which were Petra and Clanne for some reason. 9.0% overall 5-star rate is also well above average. I did end up getting Spd Assets for all 4 of them, though I didn't manage to get an Atk Asset for Alear. That's fine, though. A bit surprised none of the pity breakers this time were Ascended units since those normally have a weird habit of flocking to me. I was originally going to pull on the other banners that are expiring soon, but I'm literally out of space in my reserves now (8 empty slots across all of my boxes) due to the number of Petra and Clanne I now have and really need to do something about it before I continue. I've gotten Pirate Tibarn, Christmas Nino, and Duo Idunn/Fae. I didn't have Tibarn or Idunn yet. So yes, I have a nice, fat pity rate of 4.75% staring me in the face with a side of zero Yukata Leos. Apparently he's the Summer Leo of this celebration. Got better natures on NY!Hrid and Harvest L'Arachel, which was nice, but I didn't get any of my top priority units (AGAIN) and this game is obsessed with giving me dupes of really old units from years 1-2 (with very few of them being from year 3) and not a single harmonic or duo. Not even one I already had. And yet it can't be arsed to give me old units that I actually want, like Summer Adult Tiki or Harvest Henry. Now I can merge and get rid of that awful flaw. 3* Henry: No. 5* L!Camilla: Double yay. +Def/-Spd is awful, but better than nothing. 5* Yarne: Another 4* Special. +HP/-Spd, so merge fodder for my +1 +Atk copy. And since it's my last 3 orbs, might as well take the one blue unit... 4* Shanna: Desperation fodder. That went extremely well, more than making up for my poor luck earlier on this banner. L!Camilla, plus merges for L!Elincia and Yarne, is an amazing haul for 37 orbs. On the other hand all 3 of them had either Atk or Spd flaws, which brings my total for this page of the site to 13 out of 19 5*s having one of those two flaws. Just a tad unbalanced...Now for the weekly Arena ticket. 5* Mareeta: And I just pulled her a few days ago. Of course she's +HP/-Atk (14 out of 20), so I might as well merge into my neutral +1 copy. All 20 4* Seasonal Special tickets have been collected, time to use them. As usual I'm going to take the top orb in every circle since I don't have any particular goal. Final tally: 9 new units, 2 merges for those new units, and 9 merges for units I already had. Pretty good as far as I'm concerned. There's a lot more variety now than there was back then, but I was still happy to finally get him! And then there's Summer Wolt! His damaged art is just too funny. Christmas Eirika was nice to get too! And I hadn't had Dancing Reinhardt before now! Bride Fjorm was a new one, and so was Summer Leavetein, who are nice additions to the Book 2 collection! Especially Summer Leavatein, since she can hang out with my Summer Hrid! Summer Frederick, Hot Springs Sakura, Plegian Tharja, and Summer Mia+Masked Marth were also new, and of them, only Summer Mia was one I didn't really care about (I used to consider giving Plegian Tharja's weapon to F!Robin for the lols), but she's a harmonic, so that's nice. Anyway, that was a good haul! (Even though I didn't manage to get Summer Gunnthra, Child Merric, or Summer Takumi.) Edit: In other news, it looks like Eikpyrnir is turning into Legendary F!Robin 2.0. My pity rate was 11.5% back then, and I've still never summoned her. The pity rate for this banner in my quest to summon the elk minotaur is at 11%. At least this time Jaffar's not spamming me.
