Humanoid Posted February 19 Share Posted February 19 (edited) Sniping blue and grey almost went spectacularly pear-shaped as it was looking like my only 5-star exclusive pull on the way to the spark would be a +Def -Spd Niime, more than 30 pulls in. At least she's new I guess. (There was a Nailah too but whatever) Fortunately I was saved by the last circle, which resulted in a +Atk -Def Hortensia at pull #41. That meant I could safely spark Neutral Ivy and be done with this banner, which is just as well because I have 12 orbs left. If I had failed, there was zero chance I'd ever go for the second (ticketless) spark so I'd have sparked Horty and bailed. Almost forgot to do the MHB, it's on it's final day, and from thus does the long road to orb recovery start. Geez, feels like only a few weeks ago I had 300. As much as I do want more copies of Reginn and Triandra for merges, neither banner had any color where I actually wanted both focus units of that color, so I'll just wait for their eventual reruns in July and hope either the banners are better or my budget is less fucked. Similarly, the Hero Fest only had Robin and Alfred that I could use more copies of, but I'm sure to grab more copies of Robin while pulling for some other Legendary/Mythic/Emblem Hero, and Alfred is really underwhelming compared to other Rearmed Heroes. That said, I did pull Reginn as the free pull off of her banner, so she's now +9. Neat. I'll figure out what I want to do with the second Anniversary Special Heroes banner sometime before it expires in 2 and a half days. Colorless and blue seem to have the most value for me since I already have Flavia, Hana, and Karla at +10, and none of them have skills I need more copies of. When my pity was finally broken by Lysithea and Flavia in the same session, it was at 12.5%. One of the new copies of Lysithea has a Spd Asset, which replaces my existing Atk merge base. Elise is now +4. Lysithea is now +2. Triandra is now +6. 89 pulls on the Valentine banner: 1 Lyon 0 Myrrh (+1 spark) 1 Ephraim 0 5-star Selena 2 4-star Selena 2 pity breakers: Ascended Idunn Mycen This banner did not like me at all. I might be willing to entertain trying to pull for another copy of Lyon or Myrrh before the banner expires, but that's probably still unlikely. 80 pulls on the Engage banner: 1 Hortensia (+1 spark) 1 Ivy (+1 spark) 2 pity breakers: Brave Byleth Safy Still below-average luck. One copy of Hortensia isn't awful, but it would've been nice to have gotten 2 instead of being pity-broken by Ivy. Overall below average luck on all three banners combined and individually. Bleh. The final ticket, and eleventh pull overall, was a +Def -HP Harmonic Tiki. Happy with that even if I'd have preferred a more mobile unit, especially as it spares me the dilemma of whether to pull without tickets until I got any of the units. Would have been risky as hell with only 60 orbs left. EDIT: Only when I went to Google Harmonic Tiki did I realise that that name is ambiguous. But a triple-grey circle showed up, and pull #41 was +Res -Def Gullveig. I can now safely spark Alear. Of course, finishing that circle means that I have literally one orb left now, so the Spring banner will have to wait another day. Ice Dragon Posted March 9 Share Posted March 9 I only have 15 spaces in my barracks right now, but this'll have to do for the time being because I really don't want to do any more barracks cleaning right now to find 5 more spots. 40 pulls from the Hall of Forms banner: 1 Female Corrin (+1 spark) Got literally nothing until pull 31 with a 4.5% pity rate and nothing else after that. On the bright side, this was my first copy of Corrin with a Spd Asset, which means I can finally switch my merge base. Corrin will be +7 once I level up this new one and merge all of my copies together. 170 pulls from the Legendary Alear banner: 5 Alear (+1 spark) 5 Gullveig 1 Gotoh 1 Plumeria 1 Harken 7.6% focus rate is about 1 and a half pulls below average. However, 2.9% Alear rate is basically average (before accounting for the fact that not all pulls were colorless), so the below-average overall pulls were basically all copies of Gotoh. Overall pretty good haul. I'll be feeding one copy of Alear off to Rearmed Grima to duplicate Dragon's Roar, so he'll end up +4. Unfortunately, I won't be able to transfer Bulwark 4 and Pledge, but I'll be able to grab Pledge off of the AHR banner, so it isn't a big deal. The best copy of Gullveig I have right now has an Atk Asset, so that'll have to do for the time being. If I merged all of my copies of Gullveig, she'd be +7, but I'll probably use one copy to give Occultist's Strike to Rearmed Ophelia since she's currently the easiest source of it. So she'll end up +6 for now. Gotoh is now +4. This copy of Plumeria has an Atk Asset, which is better than my current neutral copy and will bring her to +1 once I find someone to give Death Blow Echo to. Like I already stated, my free pull on the spring banner was a Spring Sylvain even though all I wanted was Spring Mirabilis. I did end up getting her on pull 10, but ran out of orbs and couldn't pull the one red orb on her circle so guess I'm not getting Chloe. (It's fine, I don't really care for either of the ladies and would've only wanted them for Harmonic scoring purposes.) On the revival banner, got a random Sanaki to add to my passive merge project of her. And on the legendary banner I was aiming for primarily Alear but got my secondary option, Gotoh. I'm actually cool with this because Gotoh's colorsharing options when he comes back are not great for me. Now, if only any of these characters wanted to get good natures ...
