Not as much as Karel, but I always felt Bartre in FE7 was a bit less literate and a bit more meatheady than FE6 Bartre. I've not looked at either of their supports in a while, though, so it might just be dim memory lol

Bartre in FE7 (Blazing Sword)? Yeah, he was a meathead all right. I remember him talking about bashing his head in when he has a headache or something and Canas teaching him how to read while he teaches Canas how to bulk up. I think that's why I didn't like him as much or cared for him when I played FE7 since he seems... really "meathead-y". Heroes Bartre being based on FE6 Bartre seems like a bumbling dad, so his hamminess is more fun and sweet when it's about Fir. I never played FE6, though, but it seems like Bartre and Karel really mellow out from FE7 to FE6. I hope Karla makes her way to Heroes soon since it would be nice for her to be with Bartre, Fir, and Karel. Er... maybe not Karel since Heroes Karel is FE7 Karel.

I'd love to see Karla and FE6 Karel introduced. Honestly, wasn't that fussed on FE7 Bartre, so I agree with you there, too :)

And yeah, Karel really does mellow out. He doesn't look too bad for an old guy, either, unlike Eliwood who just melts (seriously, is that what they think a 40-something looks like?). Bartre actually looks better in FE6 to FE7, I reckon xD

My picks:

Bride Lyn- "What are you looking at?!" Okay, we get you don't like the dress but having pretty much al her quotes complain about it isn't really ideal. Anyway, I guess I chose this one because it's the least complaining one and I can see her saying it while attacking (if only healers actually said these quotes). I do like the tone she used of anger/annoyance, but not whiny enough compared to her other quotes.

Bride Caeda- "I believe in love!" I just love how overjoyed and happy she is when she mentions love. This quote has the most emotion for me and it works with her artwork so well.

Brave Lyn- "THE ENEMY!!" "Bow of Sacae!" Brave Lyn is all about Sacae's Blessing, and this quote just fits so well. I like how she's proud of her culture, in both costume and quotes, and I like the strength in her voice in this so this was an easy pick.

My picks:

Lon'qu- "Be silent!" The stoic swordsman Lon'qu isn't a man of many words, so this is quite straight to the point. Because I'm used to playing Awakening in Japanese, I just really like the Japanese VA more, but Travis is also good voicing deep-voiced characters!

Donnel- YEEEHAAWWW "I'll bury you!" Okay I know they're going for the farming pun but wow, that's one extreme quote you have there Donnel! You know it's serious when he says something like this. "I'm plowing through" is a good second pick, since again, farming pun.

Olivia- "Time to step up." Best quote purely because it actually relates to her dancing background. It's nice to have a quote that's more confident, since most of Olivia's personality/quotes are all about shyness (which is why seasonal Olivia is a 'step up' because she's more confident overall). I do like the pacing of the quote, so there is a buildup of anticipation.

Lon'qu - 'No hard feelings' - I think this one is said the best. He's the honourable swordsman type, too, which shows :)

Donnel - 'I'm ploughing through!' - I like that it really ties into his country background. It's said well, too. I almost went with 'Come on, Donny', 'cos I also like how he psychs himself up.

Olivia - 'This is going to sting' - Just because she doesn't often do much damage, so sting felt right to me xD I do like the way she says this, too :)

My picks:

Siegbert- "Be ready!" A very gallant, and respectful quote- something an educated knight prince would say. I also like to think he says this to himself as well, as he does have confidence issues about being in his father's shadow (a trait seemingly kind of lost in Heroes from what I read of his quotes). On the other hand, I do like his confidence in 'No holding back!".

Shiro- "You ready for this?" I love Kaiji Tang, and I like how this quote goes well with his defensive/enemy-phase play style. It shows his confidence and also his casual, laid-back lifestyle, by not being grammatically proper (as opposed to "Are you ready for this?"). I also like how it goes great as a response/parallel to Siegbert's "Be ready!" quote. Second choice would be "Any last words?" 

Soleil- "Smile, you're dead!" I'm so glad one of my favourite quotes from Fates transitioned to Heroes. Such a great special line! Very fitting for the girl who's always with a smile- and I love the twist in mood from being cheerful, to saying you're dead.

Siegbert is my newest obsession since pulling him in his banner. He's just too frickin' adorable :D 

Siegbert - 'Kneel before me' - makes me think of Xander's 'Down on your knees' quote, which is a very memorable quote :)

Shiro - 'Any last words' - I think it's his most badass quote. I like it :D 

Soliel - Urgh, her art is awful. Such a washed out pink and that smile... urgh. That being said, I like her voice. 'Scared yet' has a great taunting ring to it.

Siegbert - Definitely "Kneel before me." As Siegbert is a lord, and these peasants' lives are his to discard.

Shiro - "Any last words." Didn't really like his quotes, but this one is the better of them as he is paying respect to a foe, and asking what their last words are. Being considerate that this is a life that he's taking. Didn't think it would contrast with Siegbert's, but wow.

Soleil - "Dance for me!" This one is just perfect because it's like she's toying with the enemy a little right before the kill, and dancing is actually in her blood and something she herself is good at.

My picks:

Linde- "Divine radiance, heed me!" A very unique, classy and magical quote- it really suits the Aura-using Linde. Her voice has a soothing yet refreshing tone to her. I also like her sassiness in "You're in trouble now!" because well.. if you're in Linde's range get ready to take some big damage!

Merric- "Winds, heed me!" Very Merric, since he's all about wind. Fittingly, his voice is very gentle and airy like the wind.

Sheena- "For the people!" I love all of Sheena's lines. She has a very strong and fierce voice- you can tell she knows her purpose and channels that through her special quotes. I also like "You will fall!" and "I will never give up" because you can feel her resolve.

I like that Merric and Linde sort of share lines, considering their history (also, I continue to pair Merric and Linde, despite what the game says. True rebel xD ). 

'Divine radiance, heed me' and 'Divine winds, heed me' were the obvious choices here for me. 

Sheena - I thought about going 'For the people' but it didn't strike me the right way. I prefer 'I will never give up' since it encompasses everything, imo. It really shows her determination.

Linde - "You're in trouble now." I chose this instead of "Divine Radiance, heed me." because that sounds strange. How does Divine Radiance heed one, being radiant and divine are things you are not something you really control. Now as for Merric though...

Merric - "Winds, heed me." This perfect because Merric has a legendary weapon that controls the winds. It truly fits well.

Sheena - "I am no mere, Princess." She really isn't any mere princess. She does what she wants, and judges things for herself.

My picks:

New Year Camilla- "Let's ring in the New Year!" I quite like her voice and tone in the normal lines but her voice becomes a bit higher in her special quotes, so it was a bit hard for me to choose the one I like the most.

New Year Takumi- "Here's a present!" I just really like the idea of him throwing the mochi saying this.

New Year Azura- "New year, new resolve!" I actually don't really like any of her quotes, compared to the other Azura versions. It's a bit squeaky/forced and the elegance in her voice is gone. Still, this quote is catch enough.

My thoughts-

Matthew- "You're wide open!" because I really like how he says this, and I guess I could see his fighting style be ineffective because of low dagger might but once he procs Bonfire, suddenly there's an opening and boom! Or just like how a spy only moves when there's an opening. Otherwise, I like "Let's settle this!" as well.

Serra- "Who, me? I'm helpless!" Well this pretty much sums up her lines in Heroes. The irony of her saying this and having such an...err..emotional performance about it is something. Second pick would be "Bow down to me!"

Rebecca- "Deep breath and—!" This one goes really well with her special art, and has nice buildup. Actually, I didn't realise she had separate special art, so props to the artist, even if she's known for Rebecca's strange eye style. "Relax, Rebecca" is also nice, but not as fitting with her art, but it's cool she says this just like Donnel says "C'mon Donny". Hmm maybe I should pair those two up?

Poor Matthew always gets paired with Serra for me. If they ever bring Leila into Heroes, I might change that, though.

Matthew - 'You're wide open' - I just love the way he says this line.

Serra - 'Bow down to me' - Ties in to Serra's spoiled attitude. She says it in such a regal manner, too :)

Rebecca - 'Focus... Focus...' - I really like the way she psychs herself up. It's said very nicely :)

Matthew - "Hello there!" - While I do enjoy "You're wide open!" there's something about how he says Hello there that just screams "Surprise! you're dead!" and I personally think that suits Matthew more than a quote he'd say in battle, as typically he'd want to avoid direct combat.

Serra - "Who, me? I'm helpless!" - Literally perfect.

Rebecca - "Deep breath and—!" - It suits her, all her quotes are decent but this one gels the most with her I think.

Zephiel - “You won’t get in my way!” The way it’s said is so intimidating, yet at the same time so... amusing. It’s probably because the VA went a little over the top, but in a way it works well.

Narcian - “You will learn your place!” Kaiji Tang was excellent yet again. His other lines aside from the generic laughing one were great too, but this one I found the best in terms of delivery.

Valter - “You’re just a corpse.” Basically what Chao said.

My thoughts-

Zephiel- "How amusing!" I always think of this quote when I see Zephiel. Very fitting for a character like him.

Narcian- "Grovel, worm!" Oh, Kaiji Tang- you're such a great VA. I just love the words used in this quote, it just really fits.

Valter- "You're just a corpse." This line would send shivers to any enemy facing Valter. Fittingly creepy with that voice acting.
