Rezzy
Well, it's about time Xander got hitched, and we have a mutually beneficial arrangement. She gets money, and he gets to work on his Lance rank. I think these random character dialogues don't change depending on how it is, but seeing this exchange between Jakob and Dwyer is both hilarious and sad. We go to the lottery again, and hot dang! I've never gotten any stat boosters before, and now I've gotten two. We go to pick up Xander's son, who seems to be one of the more well-adjusted children in this game. Well, he was just born. It couldn't have been that long. They grow up so fast. Before we get started, we have some Stat boosters to give out. Since I don't mind a little favoritism, I'll give them all the Rezzi's kids. I forgot to take a screenshot, but much like the other last few maps, we are loading up on royal blood units, so we can activate the Dragon Veins. Apparently, this isn't the first time Siegbert's Baby Realms has been attacked by Vallites. Not even the Spartans put their kids in this kind of constant danger. The annoying gimmick of this map is endless reinforcements from the spawn points. This wouldn't be entirely bad, but they don't give out any XP, so we need to move quickly, or they'll just keep coming forever. Let's let Ophelia try out that new Res stat. We will need to clear out the enemies to our immediate north or Siegbert risks getting killed in the first round. It's time for us to promote Siegbert. Luna is the sole reason we start with Great Knight. We'll switch to Paladin once we get another Heart Seal. I'm not sure if my Siegbert got Speed screwed or he's just naturally slow. I though Charlotte had a high Speed growth.

They must be aware the hell that is the Deep Realms by now, and they still keep sending their kids there. The father's growths don't factor in in Fates, but looking at Siegbert with Charlotte as a mom has growths of HP: 52.5% - 62.5% STR: 50% - 65% MAG: 2.5% - 2.5% SKL: 40% - 50% SPD: 47.5% - 57.5% LCK: 45% - 60% DEF: 27.5% - 37.5% RES: 12.5% - 17.5% With the second column being his growths as a Cavalier. As a Great Knight, he exchanges 5% of Speed and Res and 10% Luck for 10% HP and Def and 5% Strength. As a Paladin, he'd pick up 5% Res from the Cav growths. Rezzy
Aunt Camilla comes over to bond with her new nephew. With the immediate threat to Siegbert dealt with, we have Kana and Percy try to secure the Dragon Vein to the west. Shigure and Forrest should be able to weather the attacks here, taking one Shield block into account. Maybe we'll get lucky and get a crit. Well, we got a crit on our second hit, for all the good that does us. Between the two of them, they get a good level-up, at least. There's a nice crit. Having a good Lance rank is serving us well. Nostanking like a champ. Ophelia can pretty much take out the entire eastern flank as long as she has a support partner. These hit rates are reminding me why I like the Skill stat so much. Having 4 extra Res is serving Ophelia very well now. Nice level up, but her Speed is starting to lag behind a bit. With Aptitude, she's got a 72.5% Speed growth. Those 100% bit rates are much more reassuring when Nostanking. Not too bad a level-up. Too bad I hardly ever use that Strength score. We finally activate the Dragon Vein, after having attacked last round and forgotten to do it then.
Rezzy
Sealing my Strength won't do anything if I'm using Magic. I imagine Ophelia putting her index finger up to her temple. Ouch, thankfully, we have just enough XP there. Being one of the only units who can tank arrows is nice. We just can't barely reach that Dragon Vein. We need to try to kill all these guys in this phase. A nice level for Shigure. Hitting that 30 Speed is nice. Camilla hits her most important stats. That strength should help with damage output until we can get Trample. I'm going to miss all these level-ups once we run out of enemies that give XP. I miss being able to one-shot these guys. Rezzy
We come back to a great level-up for Ophelia. That was a bit closer than I would have liked. I do love Draconic Hex. Let's get rid of these Spawn points. These enemies spawn with Beast Killers, which can be a real pain for us. We can try to have Kana tank these guys. Burning that Dragon Vein gives these ninjas a straight shot right to Ophelia. We need to get her the heck out of there ASAP. Time to use these Rescue rods. All that work for a crappy level-up. Rezzy
Time to cash in our freebie hit. Too bad they don't have to actually deal damage to have the poison take effect. I don't like getting Kana out of his Dragonstone, but bows are scary against my team. Jeez, why won't these guys just die? Well, we now know that Percy can tank one arrow. These endless reinforcements really need to stop. Oh, Camilla's actually dealing good damage again. We really need to heal when we can. I seem to have hit a difficulty spike after I went from barely killing everybody to barely not killing everybody. Let's get Percy out of there before he gets killed. These guys just won't stop coming, and they give no XP. Damn you, Iago! Nothing but Poison Damage piling up here. Wow, I found an enemy who still gives XP. I forgot what that felt like. With these enemies coming faster than we can kill them, we haven't had many chances to heal. Gah! How did you get through the woods so fast? Just one more shield gauge and we would have been okay. So long, sweet cinnamon roll, you were too good for this world. I thought Elise was supposed to survive in Conquest. I guess she got too close to Xander's good level-up. The endless No-XP squad still marches towards us. My death total now sits at 5. Silas Mozu Nyx Beruka Elise Silas, Mozu, and Elise got swarmed and/or had a flood of enemies break through. Mozu died due to a surprise skill, and Beruka died from the dreaded 1% crit. Of those, only Mozu's do I "regret", since it was the only one that was truly preventable.
