Where was Ginko doing either of these things, exactly? (though I can say I don't like the word thot, it's not really an insult) Can you not be such a downer and just let Ike fans cheer for their team?

How so? Last I heard, it meant something like someone that is very sexual or prostitute-like. I don't think Tharja or Camilla are actual thots, but it feels like people just call them that as a joke, not to insult them.

It was funny until nerds ruined it.  We all know plenty of irl people who this phrase might be accurately applied to.  The phrase absolutely does not apply to Fire Emblem waifus you don't like.

...What? No one's ever called a character I like a thot. And if they did, I wouldn't care, it comes off more as a joke to me.

“That whore (ho) over there”....yes, it’s an insult. Many nerds ruined that terrible meme by overusing it. Same with swear words. Anyway, I’ll stop there before it derails. 

I managed to pull a L!Ryoma so I’ll join his team.

Wait, can we not call Camilla and Tharja thots please? I'm not a big fan of Tharja, but I adore Camilla, so I find it really offensive when you're essentially calling them whores despite them not doing anything to warrant such names? It's bad enough that people call Camilla 'Cowmilla' due to her large breasts being compared to a cow's udders. So is every big breasted woman a cow? Cheers, so kind of you.

It's a god awful term, and it's disgusting.

 

Really hope female Grima wins this, haven't been on the winning team for a while recently, hahah.

Yeah, it wasn't meant to be too overt it looks like, at least based on this source.
