A few times during my Berwick LP I tried searching for an update and the site failed to find it, even though the part numbers were right there at the top of every post in big green letters. 9 hours ago, Sooks said: Please don’t tell me that gif is like, something that actually happens in the game. Looking bad, I'm not entirely sure how I handled that in my Lunatic run. Probably the same as the rest of the run: Etzel eating wyverns for breakfast with Merric's tome, Yumina abusing FE12's overpowered nosferatu and Yubello hitting puberty way too fast by decapitating folks. Good times. Just now, Armagon said: ....so TIL that my AP Spanish class I took in my senior year of highschool lied to me. Because they did teach that "vos" is consistently used in Spain. Who was in charge of that? Because that's a pretty strange thing to get so hilariously wrong. Your teachers' information must've been outdated by literal centuries for them to draw that conclusion. Unless they just thought that "vos" is the short version of "vosotros" (second-person plural), which is... still completely wrong, but a bit less absurd at least, so I guess it's an improvement? Though the idea of some teacher reading through El Quijote and going "yep, this definitely still applies" is pretty funny.

I'm inclined to say the latter, though I'd actually prefer the former. I kinda regret getting their original title Ever Oasis, the characters needed some depth, and the combat needed to be significantly better. Hmm, on one hand, I'd like to see Oracle remakes. On the other, if it's by the same company then they'd likely repeat the artstyle, which... well, can't say LA's remake has been my most favorite, so best if this were to be something new. Hmm... Armagon
It is Xenoblade X tradition (at least for me) to, upon completing Ch.3, attempt to make your way to Cauldros in one try by yourself without dying. In my last run, I got killed in Sylvalum. In this run I made it. Now to see how far I can get in Cauldros. Bonus points if I make it to the far end. Acacia Sgt
I think I actually did that too. Or was it for a quest? Don't remember. Admittedly I swam all the way there instead of braving through Sylvalum. Yeah.

And I'll admit, it's less depressing than medieval Spanish being taught in schools. Okay, I've played almost 5 hours of Banner Saga now, and... I think I would recommend it. It's like, half a tactics game (though I don't think I'd call it a SRPG, there's not much in the way of RPG elements) and half a sequel to Oregon Trail. The combat is smaller in scale than FE's, but the fights are fun, I think. Also, Your Choices Matter™! Except, unlike in most games where that's the selling point, they actually do matter here. I know that because I've made the most piss-poor choices possible and I've lost people as a result. Including one of my favorites. Nice. Oh, and the story's good so far. Very norse-mythology atmosphere going on, with a twist. So yeah, so far, solid game, for anyone who'd like to try out a new strategy game. I'm saying this because the sale on Steam's still up. 24 hours remain. From what I've gathered, the games tell a continuous plot and are pretty similar in gameplay, and you can even import your save file to keep your choices in the story (though I probably shouldn't because hot damn is my sense of judgment terrible). So yeah, if anyone's interested, probably for the best to grab the entire collection while it still costs less than 20 bucks. For reference, that's less than any one of the games at full price. Ew. Oracle. LA used mostly ALttP's artwork, and what was new, remained legs unbound. ALttP GBA's updated versions of the old SNES artwork + new drawings did maintain the skin of the thighs. That was the last bared legs Link. Until he wakes up in his underwear in BotW.
