Upon reflecting on the show, I found myself agreeing with you and Armagon a lot, which is where that question came from. Though I will say this: The music was nice, that fog-creating flying whale was an interesting concept (though whales are my favorite animals alonside crows and hawks, so there's that), and that one villain guy who wouldn't shut up about his brain was legitimately terrifying. Those three things are the main (and pretty much only) things I remember from the second half of the show. Although there is of course that one scene that has been talked about to the death until it got resurrected only to die again. Just three words: "I love Emilia". I'd say, I think he had a better design in the PS2 version... well, I thought so, before I found out he was still using a generic design. Turns out it simply changed from PS2 to DS/Mobile versions. Oh well! Well, made it to Zenithia, and now it's off to acquire another Gold Orb to make it fly again. Now for sure it's time to head off to the Neverglade to find the faeries. The only one I've spent a significant amount of time playing before Tropical Freeze was DKC2. Couldn't get past the second world though because I'm absolutely terrible at the DKC games.
