All right, turn 19 of chapter 4, and Thove has fallen. Holyn died a second time due to how hard in I pressed with everyone to kill the mages (and that sleep staff before it could act...), but I manage to gather just barely enough gold in this chapter to revive him again. Otherwise it was fairly smooth sailing, I will also note that Lachesis while at the level to promote hasn't yet, but will, as I have her decked out with a return band and staff for some fun next generation, although she is one of the few units that I am uncertain whom she should marry...I might just let the game decide...

II guess I can go over my pairing, and pairing plans, Alec and Erinys married, Lewyn and Sylvia married (might as well make it a bit hard on myself with the late Holsety....), Azel and Aideen married (and the usefulness of that rescue staff is amazing...), Ayra married Jamke, and on the planning side I am trying to get Brigett and Holyn married (but at the rate he has been dying we will see...), and the meme-y Tailte and Lex pairing has yet to finish...

Am I missing something with how miracle works? Does 100 extra avoid on an already dodgy unit with a lightweight weapon not equal always dodging?

Hit can exceed 100, and I think it only works if you are ABOVE 1 HP. (So 2 is the lowest you can have, I think.)

Genealogy's, right? Miracle works like this:

[(11 - HP) x 10]

So avoid can increase by as little as 10% to as much as 100% depending on how much HP the unit has left. I take it the unit got 1HP left, then?

No, it works with just 1HP. It's what gives the highest avoid boost.

I think it can't be abused in the Arena, though. Unless the unit is downed to below 11HP during the battle, I think. Since it lasts for only one turn.

Oh yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

I knew it could at least work in the arena, since the last time I put a unit with miracle in the arena and they got to low health they dodged fifty five 62s. I counted.

Turn 31 (so 216 overall...) and Silesse has been retaken, although I am worried about the scrub squad around Thove, Midir and Beowulf managed to sneakily kill Pamela herself, but the rest of that squad is going to wreck those fools...I kinda remembering them turning around when Silesse falls, but with targets in range I am less certain... Also Taillte and Lex tied the knot, which is a small boon. Also of note, while Holyn and Erin are high enough level to promote, it will probably have to wait until the start of next chapter...

Well that was a bloodbath. The pegasi did not go back to try and retake Sillesse, and slaughtered almost everyone in the north, which means I had to rush things as hard as I could to finish before too many parents died to the pegasi... which led to Lamia herself just barely killing Ayra on the approach. The pegaslaughterers in the north took down Midir, Beowulf, Noish, and worst of all Aideen (she was left in there to hold the castle itself so the scrub cavs could try and use their super canto mobility, and have a healer up there to try and save someone with healing...) the mad rush just barely managed to save Alec, but the next chapter is going to get into some brutal costs to try and revive the two parents that died... that is Zaxon taken on turn 35 (so 220 overall...)

Looking through a list of Xenoblade 2's unused content, I was reminded that Jin's sword is internally called Masamune (Malos's weapon is named Thanatos, if you were wondering).

Which reminded me of something else: since DLC characters don't appear in each other's Spirit Boards, Jin won't be represented by Sephiroth in his spirit battle. What a sad day...

That's fine, Sephiroth isnt Jin's equal, not even close. He doesnt deserve to rep Jin. Xd
