Eltosian Kadath Posted March 21, 2021 Share Posted March 21, 2021 It has been a while since I last played that FE4 ironman I talked about here, but I am back to it, and on turn 14 of chapter 8 (thus 401 overall) I have taken Connaght. Unfortunately it was not without lost, as I simply underestimated the movement of the mage ladies with leg rings on the road, which let them grab an unexpected kill on Fee. Almost lost Larcei as well thanks to how many times Muhammad proceed pavise, but without his leadership bonus (and the AI not ganging up on her at one health) she managed to dodge death. Other than that things went fine, had to wait a turn when Patty was one move too slow to reach her brother, but it wasn't much of a delay as Seliph one shotted Ishtar with the brave sword reliably, I also delayed a little at the group of bolters, but again only really one turn, and I ended up silencing Blume to make dealing with him faster. Its been a while but here is that old unit review. Eltosian Kadath Posted March 21, 2021 Share Posted March 21, 2021 Well that had an unfortunate death...I was expecting the enemy to split their attacks a bit more against Seliph, Ced, and Oifey, but all of the Javalin Draco Knights focused all of their efforts on Ares, and he just couldn't take all of them...I guess it was a bit unlucky as well, as their hit rates weren't great thanks to Seliph's leadership, but it wasn't unreasonable luck either. Looking back, Seliph might have had too much defense with the defense ring for them to go after him, and Ced and Oifey had 1-2 weapons, which may have swung things a bit. I ended up waiting 2 turns in the end to get the Seliph Tini convo (and I would needed to wait one of those to grab the far village with Nanna anyway) so Seizing on turn 26 (or 413 overall). Now for an unfortunate unit review...
