It was in English. I was exaggerating, of course, but the guy was seething in barely-contained rage the entire time I was watching him. The faces he made were hilarious, he was trying so  hard not to start yelling obscenities live.

The problem is lack of communication. Originally, the release date was... I think october 2020? It has since been delayed multiple times. The current release window was Spring 2021. And, well, we're already in Spring 2021. People's last hope was that a late May release date would be announced in this event. With the continued radio silence, yet another delay is all but assured. Beyond the delay confirmations, absolutely no info on the game itself has been given.

So yeah, I find the rage really funny, but I cannot say I blame them. This is starting to get rather ridiculous.

Oh, well. I came in hoping for news of one game, and ended up discovering a different game that interests me. Compared to all the "nOt ANotHeR 2D PlaTFOrmEr!!1!!" folks, I think I got off pretty easy.

I didn't remember it playing that early myself. A bit odd of an choice of a scene to use it.

I hate when RPGs just tell me to "wander around until the plot says you're allowed to move on". Probably one of my biggest pet peeves with the genre.

I get your distaste for aimlessness. It's frustrating.

On the other hand, I do like the Hassaleh arc in that it is quaint, and does give you early on the background of Sagi and Guillo. Considering how we just discussed Eternal Wings never slowing down, this is a welcome addition from a narrative/character perspective.

Although, again, I get what you mean. If they're going to want to you do so quests before action, highlight the necessary quests at the beginning of the segment.

And to explain the Magnus Mixer since you have it now. Put two compatible Quest Magnus in it -you can't use things that don't work together- and fight 3 battles IIRC, and viola, the mix is done. If the recipe calls for more ingredients, the game will alert you to add the next after you've fought the battles needed to add it, if you don't add the next ingredient, you'll get a Magna Mess Up as the result, as pretty as Mythra's cooking, completely useless, and a waste of what you put in.

I mean, one can infer they may have been ready for that possibility, when you consider the following episode: Pikachu's Goodbye. It was made during the hiatus the anime went through after the incident, and could easily be edited to have Pikachu leave for real, had the executives decided it should be.

I remember that episode, but I was not aware of when it happened. I like the internal drama this tells. We almost had a future where the electric rodent wasn't the face of the franchise, even after the anime that made that happen began airing.

Yeah, I'm pretty alright with it. Future free updates have been confirmed to add more and more content over time as well.

And after putting 100+ hrs into Generations Ultimate, I'm alright with spending money on more MonHun however I get it, lol.

So there’s this big assignment I’ve been procrastinating on because I don’t want to do it that I was finally gonna just do today as we’re given today to work on it as well and it’s due fairly soon but my teacher unpublished the module in preparation for the next nine weeks, meaning that I physically cannot do it until Monday, meaning that my procrastination has been fueled. A blessing and a curse.

My English teacher hasn’t said anything about my essay yesterday, but I suppose the school day just began...

I spent a good chunk of the time there just trying to find what sidequest I needed to do to proceed.

I think the worst one is when they have you go to the lake to retrieve the mixer and you can clearly see two bodies floating in the water (that somehow didn't drown?????) indicating plot, but I guess Sagi just didn't see them because it takes like two more days before you can actually explore the lake ruins.

Yeah, it does feel that way. Especially since the Machina Arm's laser is just appearently capable of severing entire chunks of continent. I guess I should be thankful Geldoblame didn't have that anymore 20 years later haha.

Side note but I'm assuming Origins shows more of the Baten Kaitos world because Hasaleh was not in Eternal Wings. I'm guessing Eternal Wings only showed what was relevant to that game's story.

Good to know. I'm curious as to how much this will impact the game.

Also is it me or is eight blank Magnus too little? Felt this way in Eternal Wings too.

Finally out in SRW DD. Who knows about next SRW OG game, but for this one, it seems they're just reusing pre-recorded audio clips from the other SRW games.

Excellen would've totally joked about being in SRW DD if her old seiyuu was still here to give her new voiced lines, guaranteed.

Alright, chapter 14 cleared. The falcon lnights every turn until you capture the ballista were a little bothersome, but there were only two per turn and they spawned where there was no way they could reach you before you knew they would keep coming from that same location, yet they couldn’t really gang up on you since they arrived right in front of the defended location in 2 turns. The strategy did not end up being stride, the strategy ended up being have most units wait near the defended location to defeat the falcon knights while a small squad escorted the green unit to the ballista, then letting the enemy escape while picking off as many kills as I could and then killing the boss.

I’m surprised that was only 16 turns. Seteth got MVP which I can agree with, I would have picked either him or Shamir.

Fun fact, watching that hack is what introduced and got me into SRW. So if there's anyone to thank for my SRW mania, it's him. XD
