I've seen people hit the damage caps in X, i've hit the damage caps myself in 2 and Torna, not once have i hit the damage caps in Xenoblade 1. I know that in Dragon Quest 11, if you activate photo mode with one or more party members dead, they'll show up in the photo.....as coffins. There's also text that's like "character is decesead. Anyway, I'd recommend you recruit a Slime Knight ASAP. You won't regret it. Due to encounter zones, you can find them northeast of Fortuna, without having to cross into Coburg. Also get the Monster Magnet in the Casino. It will help greatly for recruiting. ... speaking of, I'm still a few hundred thousand tokens shy of my objective.
