Lightchao42 Posted August 12, 2020 Share Posted August 12, 2020 Making things stranger about the Xeno-sales discussion is that Xenogears and Xenosaga Episode I both apparently sold over a million copies, which is pretty good for new series and is much better than how the first Xenoblade initially did (Xenogears probably benefited from the boost in RPG popularity that FFVII caused, though most of its sales came from Japan). We now know that Xenogears was shafted by The Spirits Within, but we don't know what the expectations were for Xenosaga that it didn't meet. Yeah, leaving and coming back is probably the best option, to synth more quartz, get some more items, and be better prepared. I saved right before entering the main boss room at the orbal station. I can leave the dungeon, go to Ruan, and come back, can't I? I haven't tried since the story bit at the academy prevented me from leaving while investigating the ghost sightings.
