Oh that's neat. Odin Sphere's "classic mode" has it's own title screen.

I'll be playing on Refined Mode tho.

And CK3 certainly doesn't fall behind:

oh no my incestuous secret was revealed... but how? : r/CrusaderKings

I feel like "sister-in-law" is redundant lmao.

It's not wrong per say, but it doesn't quite describe how she's a sister in law.

Since the character is very likely a Muslim, it means he can have more than one wife.

So, one of his wives is sister to the one shown in the picture, thus sister-in-law... but since the one in the picture is a sister-wife, it means the other wife is also the guy's sister... and cousin, so their parents are siblings themselves.

At first I was there like "Ah, like the gremlin holding her dog".

Then we got to see her jump into the seat holding the cat and that, I'll admit that's nice.

I was making it as a joke

To be fair I wasn't thinking too much about how multiple wives could affect that either.

Heh, my cat doesn't need to be picked up for that. I just sit on my couch and there she goes to rest on my lap on her own.

Coming into Odin Sphere after 13 Sentinels and Muramasa, it's a but weird that i can't choose my order of progressing through thr stories. Not that story actually mattered in Muramasa but still.

Seeing the deity's name being Aidios always gives me a chuckle. Since one could easily read it as "¡Ay Dios!" lol

Even for the guys they kept the lowbrow joke of the "magic transfer". -At least this is optional and not part of the -pretty weak- plot, unlike Shrimpy's "If you can't cry, laugh" suffering.

Now I need to grind some more to get a better handle on the last two witch trials. Althea and then Fatima, as expected. Level 70 ought to be enough.

I find it so funny that Odin Sphere came with an ad for another Vanillaware title.

Nope, it isn't Vanillaware exactly. According to Wikipedia, Grand Kingdom was inspired by Grand Knights History, which is (Japan-only) Vanillaware, but was made by another company by a former Vanillaware employee.

I get your point. Yet, despite the gameplay revisions they made with Refined Mode, along with higher quality visuals and some new soundtrack additions, Odin Sphere's story was left exactly as it was back on PS2.

Regardless, I hope you enjoy your trip through Erion!

Technically spoilers for Trails in the Sky FC:

Have you ever seen an image so beautiful you started crying?

Although I'm not sure who the green-haired lady being hit on by Olivier is, unless she's someone I haven't met yet.

Just like how "Jesús" in Spanish is pronounced like "Hey Zeus".

Oh, so this is where this Anelace girl first shows up.

Okay, enough exploration and request doing, will advance the main plot now.

What part of the game are you at? I thought Anelace first appeared during the final chapter. Maybe I missed her somewhere...

Not quite. More like, "hay-SOOS"... if I have it right on conveying this with English.

That’s what I’m wondering, even I don’t recognize her. I don’t think they would put that much emphasis on a generic, but…

Ah.

Guess it's a Xeno situation kinda then.
