He's most certainly not... well no, the game doesn't pretend that he isn't a villain. Even SC didn't pretend that he isn't a villain, and he wasn't even in that game. It'll take three games or so before he becomes important again, but he already projects enough menacing aura to make up for lost time. Olivier has his work cut out for him. It turns out he was Osborne's lackey all along, though he doesn't keep it secret that he isn't really loyal to him. FE6's signature janky difficulty was gone, and instead I had a pretty standard "your entire army is God, now go wipe red-colored pixels out of the planet" experience.
