I thought you said your units weren’t strong enough to survive and pull through the northwest” you must be wondering. Well, they weren’t, but I had one unit strong enough to obliterate everything there. So Ike’s skill Great Aether targets an AoE around whoever uses it, and can be used with any sword or axe (which is easy to forget if you like to keep him on a unit without those weapons so they can break more stuff). A while ago, I don’t remember when or where, I picked up the poleaxe, which does effective damage against calvary. I’d tried to use it before but had it sitting in the convoy for a while because it has absolutely no hit. However, this map was its time to shine. I pulled it out and refined it to +3 and gave it a hit boosting engrave, so it was good to go. Its other problem was that it’s super heavy, and bow knights, which the paralogue is swarmed with, are super fast. That would make one rounding hard. …unless you had a berserker who joined with such godly strength that she could OHKO them in one hit. Yeah, you see where I’m going with this. Great aether + forged poleaxe + 20 something base strength = a lot of dead bow knights. And it was beautiful, let me tell you. Best character, best unit. This map has a gimmick where any yurts that aren’t taken out by the time the boss lives will spawn a ton of reinforcements. While Panette took care of the northwest, I had Timerra with a forged ridersbane doing something similar in the middle of the map but she had to be a lot slower because she couldn’t do any AoE shenanigans with it. I had Fogado magic bowing the wyverns out of existence in the bottom corner and Ivy and Hortencia ready to fly to the west after but they weren’t strong enough to kill anything there and I took too long, so I actually couldn’t take out the bottom yurts and reinforcements came from those. However, they don’t spawn until Lyn attacks you so I had everyone out of her range desperately running away from her as she ran toward us, which let me pull her far enough away from the bottom that those reinforcements couldn’t touch me before I obliterated Lyn.
