I almost missed this absolute gem of a line because I didn't have Joe in the party. So not only is he a mad German scientist, he's a mad fake German scientist. I love Deke so much. Seriously, why did I spend the last 15 minutes trying to fix that tiny, insignificant glitch? What is wrong with me? I just noticed that the recruitment text blurb in the LP didn't have a weird square at the end, whereas it always does for me, and from there I simply had to fix it for myself. ...Ironically enough, in the game's final update, the creator stated he was updating the RPGMaker dll from 1.02 to 1.04 to "hopefully fix some of the font issues." This ended up creating different font issues, because programming do be like that. I had to revert the version myself. Then I had to change the game's font, because the default no longer worked, but... Eh, I think I like the new one better anyway. It was all very easy, but the point is, unnecessary, so unnecessary. These squares appeared in exactly two places: The "character joined you" text blurb and two very specific cutscenes with a unique format.
