Dat Rules (stolen/borrowed from Integrity, which where then copied from the FE10 ratings)

- Ratings are assumed to be on Normal Mode.

- Votes need some explanation regarding their gameplay performance to be counted. If somebody else said what you want to already, quote them explicitly.

+/- ≤1 point extra regarding personality/appearance is encouraged, but no more. If you exercise your bias privileges, please do so explicitly.

- Numerical votes out of 10, or something proportional to it. Make it easy to calculate for my sake.

- Every ranking phase ends whenever I get home from school, between 1500 and 1600 EST.

- I will insist you do not use the "Not X" reason on any character, where X is another unit. If you do, your vote will be thrown out.

- "Recruits X" or "takes you to X chapter" arguments are explicitly banned. C'mon, people, this shouldn't need to be a rule. That's not gameplay performance.

- Assume that the character in question is being recruited.

- Similar to the "Recruits X" rule, do not use "she brings a warp staff" or any other justification as an argument.

- Rating a unit too low because you think its overrated will make me throw away your vote without mercy.

- I withhold the privilege to tell you your rating is bogus and demand you revise it if it breaks any of the above. I will not throw out votes anonymously, you will be informed and given a chance to revise.

- Scrolls do have impact on a unit's rating. Though they are counted as a seperate point, but no more than +/-1. So that means one point for bias and one for scrolls!

- Warp skipping has an impact on scores in so far as "Safy has an high base staff rank". Nanna would score lower than Safy because of her lower rank, but no chapter is explicitly said to be skipped. You can't get Warp and then suddenly say every character after doesn't exist or requires turns to recruit. Something could be said of Xavier, or Conomore/Amalda who are in an escape chapter where Leaf starts next to the escape point.

DANCER

She sucks in combat and other stuff but her dancing utility is pretty useful.

Lara comes in as a second thief when you need one to get Leaf and pals out of their cells. Rivis laughs at her stats pretty hard and yet he's an awful combat unit himself. She's so bad she kills the Priest at the end of her joining chapter in about 4 hits with Iron. She's so bad defensively it's better to just take her Slim Sword and have her get captured by enemies, which is a surprisngly viable tactic in making Armorknights much easier to defeat. She's probably better off never touching a weapon in her entire career. Other than that, she shares duties with Rivis for the Manster arc and maybe 8x, but she's otherwise benched.

Then chapter 12x comes in and she can demote to a Dancer. She loses her massive speed and even a movement point, but she gets massive unique utility in dancing. While she's especially frail in a game where ballistae and long range magic are quite common, she and other flyers can team up to destroy those siege units with minimal effort, which is seen as early as chapter 13, right after she demotes. If you're into that, she can also help in warping Leaf and your favorite boss killer to ease seizes. She even has a movement star just in case you need to dance for an extra unit.

Even as a Dancer she can still steal items, but that's a minor bonus that shouldn't be used too often. Sadly, her extremely low HP makes her very prone to get fatigued. Be careful around deploying her and give her breaks before chapters where she's going to be extremely useful to prevent fatigue, such as chapter 15 where she can ease the task of rescue-dropping Leaf near the church.

Better at baiting captures than actually stealing, but she opens doors and chests in a vital area and dancing utility makes her viable through the game. Give a priority in destroying siege weapons and she's going to be quite valuable.

8.5/10

Macuha>Brighton? srsly

Machua getting 3 bias points for Female Hero uniqueness vs. his zero didn't help his case.

Lara is perhaps, the most unique character in the game, if not the whole series, being a Dancer and a Thief in one. While Rifis may outclass her in earlygame, once she changes into her Dancer class she becomes one of the most useful units in your team. Lara makes it possible for fliers to reach a ballista, for the same Staffbot to Warp/Rescue a unit in one turn (like Dean in Ch. 14), or basically have a unit capture an enemy and have steal all his stuff and free him all in one turn. Her abilities are also crucial in LTC runs. She may be ridiculously frail, but her unique utility completely offsets this. A must on EVERY team.

10/10 (I don't even have to include bias. She deserves it on her own)

Lara's number of possible class changes are high, in fact the highest in the game. There's nobody who can compare with her in refreshing terms. As such, she's an invaluable member of any team.

10/10

9.5/10 actually, for not being a Dancer the whole game.

Macuha>Brighton? srsly

Some people took issue with his speed. I don't see why; 6 isn't exactly shabby, and he has all of Manster to work on it further.

Super good as dancers always are, but imo the large quantity of blatantly skippable maps that don't require her help cuts down on her overall contributions compared to dancers in some other titles

9.5/10 (8.5 + 1 bias point because sq-- /shot)

Isn't a dancer the entire time you have her (from Ch4 to part of Ch12x), but once she does become one, she becomes far more useful than before.

Fatigue, along with her low base HP, also limit her as well.
