True. I thought about some of these things after I made the post. I'm now actually surprised I was right.

I'd say it probably is after some more time. I haven't given up hope for its release yet. Also, unless you're fluent in Japanese, the character development won't actually mean much to you...

I like how the quote calls it the Wee U. Anyways, exciting news, but it seems to be a long way off, so I'm not gonna think too much about this now.

The difference is that the Wiimote can function basically the same as a Gamecube controller. I don't want to swing that thing around my living room. I doubt many games could get away with requiring many of those (probably) very expensive controllers, either. After all, they have an HD touchscreen and are capable of playing more demanding games than a Wii and apparently a PS3/360.

What seems more exciting to me is FE with those graphics. The bottom screen will probably be (and probably should be, IMO) basically the DS top screen.

Oh, it RUNS just fine, but the fact that all I can have is this little double screen thing in the middle of my big computer screen really bugs me.

Well, it seems to me that there will probably be only one screened controller per console and multiplayer games will just have other people using regular wiimotes.

I would be really upset if this wasn't translated. Emulating the DS sucks. If this isn't announced soon, a petition needs to be started.

WiiU looks cool, but that name, IMO, sucks. I wanted to see more games in general. I'd have liked to see Wii stuff, some real game footage for the WiiU, and of course a FE announcement. Also, regarding the comparison between how the PSV and PSP look: do the same thing with the DS and 3DS. The companies are going with a design familiar to their consumers.

I'm saying that I doubt that it would be worth promoting Neimi in chapter 11 at level 10 unless you have a really crappy team. Okay. I can see that. Anyone disagree with Kyle/Forde to the top of high? lol

Missed the Microsoft one. Can't say I'm upset. Seeing as the PSV is the same price as the 3DS (I don't have AT&T so no 3G for me,) I don't know which one to get. The games available by Christmas will by the deciding factor for me. I wish the PSV could read UMDs. If it could, then I could trade in my PSP 3000 (probably) for a discount. I really wish that I wasn't going to miss the Nintendo one, though. Possible FE announcement, new console, and I'll probably actually care about games announced here. Although I want to get into Uncharted, now, so hopefully those games will actually be ones I end up excited about. Well, instead of watching Nintendo's exciting announcements, I get to work on a Greek tragedy for six hours! Enjoy exciting video game announcements while I enslave women and kill their children.

Because the goal of the list is to complete the chapters as quickly as possible with your given team, and unless this is the .001% of playthroughs where people choose to use Amelia, Ewan, Neimi, Gilliam, and Artur only by around this time, I'd be surprised if promoting Neimi actually helped. So, Kyle and Forde to the top of top on Ephraim's route was brought up. Did you mean the top of HIGH tier? And why just Ephraim's?

I can't imagine there is no situation in which the speedwings won't make up for the turn it takes to get them. I'm sure there are also plenty where they don't, so it's not a huge point or anything, but between that and Tana not having chapter 9 there... Well, actually, there are very few things that Colm can steal at all, and, as you pointed out, some are not worth getting (usually, at least) and the others probably won't have a very big impact. His other thieving abilities are easily replaceable. All he has is half credit for desert stuff, and I'd be surprised if anything other than the swiftsole, silver card, and warp made any sort of significant impact. And you might have so much money at this point that the silver card doesn't make all that much of a difference. Tana at least gets half credit for ferrying people/stuff around for the last half of the game. God, Colm really sucks as a thief, doesn't he?

I think Colm could be below Tana, at least on Eirika's route. Ephraim's route Tana doesn't have chapter 9 and Colm has that Speedwings.

True, it does take a lot of effort to get Colm to a point where he is noticeably better than Rennac. But I'd be surprised if Colm hasn't managed to gain three weapon ranks over nineteen levels. How many keys do we have in chapter 7? There's some good treasure there. I know, I was just listing some of his thieving contributions. Mind you, there is also some stuff to be stolen from enemies throughout the game. An energy ring, a speedwings on Ephraim's route, a goddess icon, a dragonshield, a talisman, a body ring, and a guiding ring. That's a lot of gold if we don't decide to use that 2 STR/SPD/DEF/CON(/LUK/RES/magicunitpromotion) and if we do, well, it's worth more than the gold obviously. So we should just ignore it? Oh, wait, we must rank him based on when he's actually used. I guess if he's only used as a combatant in 3% of runs, though, that impact is rather miniscule compared to his thieving impact 100% of the time. Anyways, where do people think he could go exactly? Top of Upper Mid would put him just above Eir. Saleh, top of Lower Mid would put him just above Tana. Higher? Lower? In between?

You can't give him ZERO credit for his thieving. At least earlygame he's helpful for that. Then there's the desert, which admittedly is shared credit with Rennac. But if he's being used as a combatant, I would rather bring him than Rennac for also being useful outside of finding stuff. I sorta hate tiering thieves. You have to give them credit for ALWAYS doing certain things (like opening chests) but only SOMETIMES will he be used for combat, whereas with other units, it is assumed that, when they're used, they're used.

Colm needs to be out of top that's been agreed on. I'ma gonna go kick him into High Tier now. Would anyone object to him going below Eir. Eirika, too? Or even farther?

A: Why not put this in the FE7 section? B: Raven. He gets axes from it. Also, your Bartre is screwed by about one point pretty much all around. It's probably worth dropping him, unless you want Karla...

Tier 2 Aran is a great unit to BEXP. By level 8 (eight) he has STR/SKL/DEF (his best growths) capped. BEXP means he probably gets HP, SPD, and LUK. SPD and LUK are two stats he wants. RES isn't that far behind SPD/LUK, either, so it probably won't impact his RES too much. I guess you'll screw over his MAG, but, well, who cares?

That's just too awesome to not have. I am upset at not getting to see that. Since you have to have Steam to run it, it'll auto-update, too, won't it? Darn. Oh, well. Since it's summer, I should be actually getting that computer soon, so hopefully I can actually understand what you're doing through having experienced the game myself

Well, I remember some people saying that they were overpowered, but a lot of people said that they were just fine from what I saw. By homing arrows do you mean the aiming in sieges?

How is the gameplay better? All you said is that FE7 not having branched promotions is fairly normal and that the other issues don't prevent you from enjoying the game. I also don't see how it is really any more replayable than FE8. Sure you have both Hector and Eliwood modes, but you also have Ephraim and Eirika's routes which have more unique maps. Personally, FE7 is my least favorite (after the original) Fire Emblem, but I don't quite know why. Besides, being my second least favorite FE doesn't mean I don't still like and play it. It's worth buying.
