  1. Cool. Glad we care about our survival rank when trying to play efficiently.
  2. They didn't take it out. There were never any playable ballisticians.
  3. Unless Ryan is blessed by 2 points, he isn't doubling any. Jake is only doubling the 18 SPD ones unless he is blessed in SPD by a point. Also, if Ryan has 35 MT and Jake has 29, how is Ryan doing 9 more damage per shot?
  4. SM Darros has 14 STR, plus 1 from Taurus and 1 MT from C Swords. 16+21 effective MT Wyrmslayer is 37 MT. 1 MT forge still needed, but not a 2 MT forge. Edit: Not actually arguing either way here.
  5. If you have a PS3 or PSP, Valkyria Chronicles or Valkyria Chronicles 2.
  6. Myrmidon has LESS base DEF than Mage. It takes her up to promotion to pull even a one point lead. Except she's stuck at 1-range.
  7. 15 HP/ 1 DEF with 60/20 for growths? I bet that's getting OHKOd pretty awful. 7 base STR? 55% growth rate is nice, but on 7 base STR, she's probably still not getting much ATK very quickly. 11 SKL and 12 SPD is nice. 40% SPD growth, too. Probably doubling fairly consistently. Only 20% SKL, though.
  8. Because taking longer to kill units is clearly better.
  9. Well, they at least change the pokemon. The deer changes appearance, and other pokemon may only be available during certain seasons.
  10. Well, the Anima and Light animations would be the same, but staves should look different.
  11. Yup. There are downloadable extra chapters and the BSFE chapters which are unlocked after the prologue. Both are playable from the extras menu.
  12. Still, you don't have to go way out of your way to recruit... dang it, you have to recruit Vyland, then Sedgar, then Wolf. You could really already be past Sedgar by the time Vyland even shows up, so...
  13. Last I heard, we didn't punish units for their recruitment, or at least not much. Wolf/Sedgar can also probably at least be decent anti-flier units lategame. They suck, but they have their uses. Now, Roshea and Vyland...
  14. Well, there are extra chapters and the BSFE chapters, but, gameplay wise, they aren't connected to the main story at all. There's also wifi.
  15. Elincia does have the triangle attack, however.
  16. Does anyone think there could be a BSFE&Extra chapter tier list? There are 7-9 total chapters (only 6 currently available) and so far we've got, in no particular order, Roro (and his clones),Katarina, Kleine, Athena, Eremiya, Gharnef, Michalis, Feena, Ellerean, Merric, Linde, Etzel, Boah, Tomas, Nyna, Midia, Dolph, Macellan, Minerva, Hardin, Wolf, Roshe, Catria, Palla, Frost, Castor, Rickard, Navarre, Lena, Malice, Dice, Camus, Belf, Reiden, and Robert. Maybe missed some people that are reinforcements in the BSFE chapters, too, since I've only played one of them. That's 35-36 (depending on Roro) units right there, and we've got 1-3 more chapters to be revealed. That's enough units for a tier list. The question is whether or not we want to deal with all of the cross-chapter comparisons. Nyna's the only one whose got more than one chapter of availability, IIRC.
  17. Here's a picture with enemy and character stats and reinforcements for the first extra chapter. I may do one for the second later.
  18. In the first downloadable chapter, the outdoor chest has an elixir (I think, something in a vile) the indoor far south one has boots, and of the three close ones, the bottom has a Lady Sword (so late that even with its 12 MT Feena does garbage damage and is OHKOd back) the left has a dragonpike and the top has Shaver (so helpful! It's not like I've probably already Excalibured the flying dragons and its not like I had to kill the other dragons to get there) Athena seems to know Kleine and Katarina as she can talk to them. Does she have a conversation with them in the main story? It wouldn't surprise me if no one's bothered to check considering how amazing she is.
  19. That save also has episode 1. There's also a third option there on the right, something about items?
  20. I played FE5. I found it not very challenging. FE5 throws you into weird situations (no money at start, losing units, capturing, escaping through guards, fleeing armies, etc.) while H5 just tosses stupidly strong enemies at you.
  21. You probably just got unlucky with him. If he's struggling to stay alive despite being the DB's (potentially and mode dependent) best tank, then...
  22. I have no idea. He's probably more helpful through the prologue and is then helpful in the main game. She shows up and is 2HKOd unless she's a general and is doubled as a paladin or slower class. She's getting off one attack per turn thanks to her being 2RKOd and never doubling. So falco's probably her best class (same total ATK as SM, but more MOV, and anything else that would keep a good weapon level is ORKOd) and it only gives her 12 STR and B swords. 35 with a wyrmslayer and not doubling? That sucks. 26 ATK with a master/lady/silver and only doubling slower enemies? Clearly Athena's much better than Ryan, amirite?
