  1. 1. Probably when I first started going to forums which was around 2011. It's the default name of the protagonist of Rune Factory Frontier. 2. Social Studies, English and Spanish. Science was also pretty fun but since I'm not good with Math it got complicated at times. 3. Thief. It was either that or the class that could give me the halberd which tended to be a Knight. It's always fun to go in fast, deal massive damage, debuffs or status ailments and then get out. After that the knight could go in and defeat everyone and grant support skills. 4. Definitely. Danganronpa, Zero's Escape, anything made by Falcom, the Tales of series, SMT and their subseries like Devil Survivor and Persona, Disgaea and the Musou games from Koei just to name a few. Oh wow. This will be a doozy. 1. I'd have to say that I look up to you for the work than you do in real life and how kind you are in these forums. Having kids and being a doctor must put a serious strain on some of the things you do so I wish things always go well with you and your family. I'm sure they'll have a bright future and until then I hope they don't make you lose too much sleep. 2. So far all I really want to do is to feel like 3. I love kids. I've volunteered to babysit and play with a lot of my baby cousins even to this day. It's harder now since I'm older and have other priorities to attend to now. If fate permits, I'd definitely like two of my own one day when I'm ready for them. In the event that I can't, I'll adopt one even if its more difficult in the long run. 4. Ehh, kids in the most recent FE aren't my thing tbh. I tend to never field them or use them because they shouldn't be killing people at such a young age and still be balls of youthful energy and optimism unless there's something wrong with them. It's probably why my favorite kids are Rolf and Mist who feel that they know what's at stake. If we're talking second gen then they're all fine except for Midori, Percy and Kana since they shouldn't be anywhere near a battlefield so I never use them. 5. Can't say I know one. I like many things but since what I like isn't that common or in the mainstream, I'm not sure if it's hated or just forgotten. My favorite FF is Final Fantasy 2 but I doubt it's hated, just not emphasized much. 6. The Hunger Games and their derivatives. I detest them but everyone has their likes so I respect them. Katniss can drop dead for all I care and so can the Divergent chick. 7. It's a great name and I have a friend who's name is the Spanish version to it; Raquel. She's pretty boisterous and likes dancing so I associate it with her and lots of booze but a great host and companion. 8. My favorite troubadour who's name I'm not sure I'm spelling correctly. Made it to the top of the list when I read she found Ephraim's bare shoulder to be "too provocative" for her. 9. I think I've seen so many Leon's in various media and games that I've filtered even it's derivatives in a place in my brain to ignore them. It's not a bad name, and whoever holds the name sounds like he could either brave or fierce. 10. The worst of the royals from a gameplay perspective in my opinion. He's a great unit compared to everyone else but that doesn't say much when all the royals have some crazy stuff going for them. Personality wise, he seems like a serious Robin filtered through a blond Marth on a horse. Not a bad guy, but I don't put much emphasis in the characters of Fates. 11. It's a fine name but not one I have much thoughts on. It's very pretty and feels like the name of a kind person. 12. For better or worse, I don't use them at all when I have other units available for what's rest of the game. Unless they have some sort of edge besides growths, or personal bias, I doubt I'd use them. 13. The Cain and Abel archetype. Aside from being some of your potential best units, their contrasting personalities and conversations between them are things I tend to enjoy. 14. Not my thing. I like my pants too much. 15. An odd sight but very fashionable. It's not something worn around my culture but it seems flattering. 1. By your avatar alone, I thought you were either really into Roman history or just a general history buff. Not sure if you show up much but it's a pleasure to meet you. 2. Rife with too much tension all along the globe and with Trump, the USA looks like it could go anywhere honestly. The world's changing and the world governments are making their moves in scary directions as peoples emotions are taking priority over logic and reason. I wouldn't be surprised if things keep going on a downward spiral in the next few years, but I hope it doesn't become as bad as 2016 was. 1. Saving my drowning cousin who didn't know how the tides worked when you're going against the current. A pretty scary episode and not one I want to repeat again. 2. Lost Dimension for the PS Vita. Not sure if it's your cup of tea, but having your party dwindle as traitors get revealed in every new floor while climbing a tower to save your world against a paralell version of itself is pretty rad. Aside from that, Colombian fried ants and Iguana kebabs are delicious and healthy alternatives for some diets. 3. Nothing at the moment. A week ago I finished Neil Gaiman's Murder Mystery and ended up pretty satisfied. 4. Canada 5. Auroras and comets flying over the night sky when I was a little boy and we were in Canada for a few days. It was breathtaking sight and one that hasn't been matched to this day. 6. My most troublesome dungeons I have faced stem from a game called Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines. Some dungeons like a deep dark cave with a candle puzzle in the game gets pretty frustrating plus the fact that there some area that open by keys that randomly spawn and some of the map layouts change depending on the season and you're under a time limit for the entire dungeon. Some of your party members die due to a curse that kills them every 2 years so your party composition is changing all the time. Nevertheless fun game. 7. Arius Nova in God Eater's Resurrection and Gulcasa from Yggdra's Union when he goes full throttle on you when he knows you killed his sister and lover. I think I'm missing a few more but nearly all my units were in the brink of death and I had run out of all my healing items save 1 or two in my fight against them. I had too much sympathy for Gulcasa to mind but Arius Nova just tried my patience a bit too far. 8. Sadly, I didn't. Never got around to taming too many monsters in RF 4. 9. Tabatha for RF, Dorothy for RF 2, Mist for RF Frontier, Karina for RF 3, Odette for RF ToD and finally Xiao Pai for RF 4. After marrying the "canon" (Mist, Mana, Shara, Sonia and ughh four didn't have one), I made an extra playthrough for them. 10. Mist. Can't say I can explain it exactly but she's probably the one I liked the most out of all my options.
  2. Me and Knife did our matches. It's just me and Colorz for grand finals now. Hopefully all goes well.
  3. First of all happy new years to everyone on the site here and thanks for the nomination. Let us begin! 1) Since entering university last year, I've been studying languages primarily German and French alongside studying how to teach English and Spanish as a secondary language. My goals are to understand these languages so I can work either as a translator, an educator or in international affairs and for the simple fact that understanding what everyone's saying provides a major boon if I want to see work abroad which is my goal due to bad working conditions in my home island. 2) I try to avoid hype because it tends to make you sad if things go awry but I do have some things in mind. Persona 5, Caligula and the new Trails aren't that far off and I finally scrounged up enough work money to go study abroad in Vienna for the summer. 3) Definitely JRPG's, turn-based strategy games and the type of simulation games like Harvest Moon and Rune Factory. Always liked how you could take your time inside those games and just explore or consider your options while you fought. The relationship values put in games such as Rune Factory or the support system which FE has also intrigues me very much. On the opposite spectrum, first person anything always drive me away no matter what. 4) As much as I love Marth, I'd probably have to pick Robin. The dude's just super fun and if he was just a bit faster he'd be perfect for me. It's definitely his unusual playstyle in comparison to everyone else that makes me like him so much plus Elwind spikes are amazing. 5) Hahah probably because some people always think I misspelled it when I created it. People think it was suppose to be either Ragna from Blazblue, Laguna from FFVIII or the Ragu spaghetti sauce. Ragoona reminds me of Gooron hahah. 6) Yeah, you guys can ask as many question as you feel necessary I won't mind. 1) Definitely autumn due to how quiet and peaceful things get. You get to feel like the world's slowly going to sleep as winter draws near. Sappy, but it's a nice feeling of shutting down until spring comes back full throttle. 2) Fast paced-classical music, rock and jazz. Most of my favorite artists I know are in Spanish but I did like Coldplay and Thousand Foot Krutch. 3) For right now, improving my cooking skills would be on the top of the list. 4) Grew up with it actually. One of my first games on the gamecube was Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life and it's probably still my favorite to this day. Despite the serious and sad tone, it was cool seeing your characters grow older until the end. The rest of the games didn't have that but were similar that I kept going on with the series. My avatar is actually the main dude from A Wonderful Life. 1) At first, it was just to have a good secondary to my Robin which was my previous main. As things went along, my brother and some friends told me to switch so by the time I entered the 3DS smash tourneys against Rey, I thought it'd be a nice change a pace if I did a Marth vs Robin against him. So the change was pretty recent. 2) In written form the English language is just a little shit honestly. It's very easy to write and conjugate aside from a few words. Furthermore gender is hardly a problem since all common nouns use "the". When you try to speak it however it's really shit for foreign speakers since a good amount of words grammatically aren't consistent with their sounds. Wednesday and colonel are a good example of what I mean. 3) Rune Factory Frontier. My username comes from the default name of that game's protagonist. 1) Didn't even remember that word being there. The more you know. 2) This meme is pretty new to me however I don't remember any of the Awakening memes since I didn't pay much attention to the game post-release. 3) Cute cat. Although makes me wonder if your cat really knows what it wants to do except get inside any nook and cranny he can fit in. Hopefully he doesn't cause much trouble. 4) I have but I haven't been able to get very far since I'm just starting Fall of Year 1. Life got pretty busy but I did finish A New Beginning. I'm not sure if it's just me but Harvest Moon games are getting a bit too gimicky and rather frustrating in certain parts. 5) It was really confusing at first but yeah. I got to all the areas I needed to go and ended the event. Can't say I remember the details right now other than getting the mystery dealt with. a) Super cute. She's just strolling by. b) I like the face of determination. Super brave. c) I don't know you well enough so I can't really comment but these little guys are rad so you're rad in my book as well.
  4. I'll be available starting tomorrow so I'll be able to take the next set if that's okay with everyone.
  5. He got a lot of buffs that increased his range and power coupled with the tipper mechanic makes him deadly. His only real flaws are a lack of landing options when he's up in the air and a less risky Out of shield move. If you want to know the current state of smash, Ike is slowly being considered less and less leading people to think he's become the worst FE rep. Personally, I think he's a solid mid-tier but everyone who used to use him now transferred to Corrin or Roy which makes him a rare sight these days in tourney play. He also lacks recent results.
  6. Sorry buds and I appreciate the fact that you're nominating me but this week I'm in Chicago with only my phone Internet. I won't be on SF to answer any questions so it'd probably be best to give it to someone else until next time. My apologies and happy holidays.
  7. Yeah, they're better examples. I just posted the first thing that came to mind on that one out of what was fresher in my memory.
  8. Probably Dein Nomos from Tales of Vesperia when Yuri gets a hold of it.
  9. The dreams of a proletariat...

  10. I agree with Blusis since all things considered, it's still more of a teasing trailer to build up interest considering Atlus doesn't venture into fantasy except in a few cases like Etrian Odyssey. As far for now, we should probably a wait until the trailer gets translated but this will probably be it for a while. It seems interesting enough so I'll keep my hopes high for when new info appears but a year wait sounds reasonable.
  11. Hardin has a point and I doubt a Heron Branded would be rather strong to begin with. Petrine's strength is still higher than her Magic if you take a look at her stats. Also that image is from her official profile from the PoR artbook released now in 2016. I doubt it'd be incongruous by this point.
  12. Since Aran has passed and my bias for him is strong, I'm glad I can finally vote on Meg. Meg = 1.5/10. Everyone else said it, but the one thing I want to add is that she joins in a laguz infested chapter where the exp is better suited for everyone; even Leonardo and then followed by a desert chapter. Needless to say, armor knights don't move well under that terrain. The 0.5 was because of Bexp but aside from that can't quite recommend when you get Tauroneo two chapters later and can do her job without any issues. Volug = 7/10. The wolf-man is pretty good and he's the most reliable laguz the Dawn Brigade will ever have since Nailah, nor Muarim will stick around for you. He really helps the group when he's needed most and can cover any area, Zihark, Jill and Nolan can't. His issues really stem from low laguz exp gain and the fact the royal laguz all outclass him and pretty much everyone else with a few exceptions.
  13. Pretty much on the same wavelength as Rey here. I'll give it a shot but this isn't exactly what I was looking for in newer installments. I'll take a shot at it once it goes on sale or I hear more about it once it releases.
  14. 1. Why do you like the luck stat so much in Fire Emblem?
  15. Quintessence Might as well help Carmine makes this interview come true. It's been a bit too long considering this constant nomination.
  16. I recommend it whole heartedly as someone who finished the game. I will however advise that this is more of a Visual novel with jrpg elements than anything else. The combat is as refined as it needs to be and while not spectacular gets it job done alright. It shines on it story however and how the game sets all the relationships and scenarios is pretty good. It can come across at standard at times but the usual problem is really the prologue because it takes a heck of a while to get past through. Hamilcar's grunts and crying can get a bit on the cringe side but the OST is pretty well done. As for anything else, I can answer if there are more questions.
  17. What surprises me is that we're discussing this now of all times. Nevertheless, I can see why he can be described as an ugly noblewoman type character just by appearance alone.
  18. Guess I'm up next against Ricon. I don't think I'll last as long as I did last time but let's hope I can tie it up.
