It doesn't help she dies even easier or at the same rate as Hana so I'd focus more on Flora provided you feel like waiting until chapter 18 unless the butlers can get you going even though if you play as male you'd be waiting for chap 15 for them.

Dude, I think you have a slightly more personal investment in this matter than most and I'd recommend you see that a game ruining your life is a big hyperbole. RD is my favorite game and it did have it's hiccups and faults and while never to Fates extent, I can see why people could prefer FE 14 over FE 10. All of us have different tastes, and as a whole everything from Shadown Dragon past is barely played by most new fans due to how drastically different things are with Awakening onwards. Just calm down and keep your feelings in check.

Katawa Shoujo since it's one of the few I played when I had more time to invest in them and genuinely enjoyed as each girl's issues were rather prominent and well thought out. Yume Miru Kusuri and Ame no Marginal are also pretty good if for more obscure works I dabbled in even though my knowledge isn't extensive. However I've heard Dangan Ronpa and Ace Attorney where more gameplay like visual novels so they're runner ups.

It's pretty powerful but it being acquired in late game mitigates relying on it. Although there is Ettard in Radiant Dawn but every lord before Awakening usually got their cool weapon near the end.

Sakura: Most likely my favorite female royal due to her personality and growths. I think I show much more sympathy when Sakura finishes combat she asks for forgiveness for the acts she's doing and for trying very hard to be mature while still indulging in a few childish past times. In a larger context, I'd say she's a bit of the generic archetype of the shy girl but as long as they're done decently at least I tend to like them and I favor it much more than yandere mistress, training is my life women or energetic little girls. His prologue stings my perception of him, his voice is just annoying and he's an eight year old who shouldn't be seeing any sort of combat yet.

Asugi base growths are so good Orochi doesn't really hamper him. This doesn't mean that you can't try other moms, its your choice here. Considering almost nobody else wants Orochi's growths, she's pretty much dead set with Saizo or someone who gives purely a magic kid.

Not exactly and even then Soleil and Ophelia exist who are pretty much female versions of their dads taken to a bit of an extreme or slight tweak. Gregor would be cool to see in a way, but I'll agree with someone else that I'd prefer if there were original characters rather than expies in any case.

Beruka: My favorite wyvern rider and probably one of my favorite female characters in the game since my only gripe with her is that I believe she should have had a deeper voice and better crit lines. I'll always favor her over Camila due to able to actually take this girl seriously and the vibes I get from her are never bad and frankly it is pretty interesting to see a characters who would actually kill their allies but could actually follow through with it due to being emotionally dead inside. It's not like Peri doing it for minor to stupid reasons when they're suppose to be friends. For example, Beruka had a contract to kill someone and Arthur had a contract to defend them, had it not been for his accident saving him, it would end up in a real bad clash. Caeldori: Hmm, I can't make any witty pun out of this name so I got nothing. She's my least favorite female kid so yeah.

I want both Sigurd and Flora in a Battle of Chibi like stage. Arvis, Robin and Soren sets up the fire strike and directs the wind, Flora will be like Huang Gai and use the fire ship with her on it and Sigurd will be Cao Cao or someone similar going like "Why Arvis!?"
