  1. That's the best time. Everyone's robbing the clothing section. However there is a reason why I work at a smaller Walgreens instead. We can watch the madness of our neighboring companies almost unpeturbed.
  2. To be fair, people barely talk about Eldigan since his game never came out here, but I don't think Eldigan is the worst Camus. Eldigan was just the most noticeable and famed Camus aside from Camus himself. I'm actually curious how many people could call out any other Camus vividly without having to look at the wikia page.
  3. I see your points and I can understand where this is coming from but Rinkah needs to be babied in order to reach the potential you guys are talking about in a normal run. The other tank options (Hinata, and Tsubaki) can go from the get go and take Rinkah's place easily. Tsubaki also functions as transportation across terrain and Hinata gives out some of the best pair up bonuses which even Rinkah wants. No unit is really unviable except in Rev where Rinkah really struggles to get any real shots at staying with you I just think it's too much effort in comparison to the other tanks, they're already way better and in a good starting position to get themselves on the move. You can try, but I think the other two tanks do their jobs way better and more expediently than Rinkah ever will unless she's amazingly blessed. She's a slightly decent unit, but most likely the worst tank due to having to leave most of the early game exp scramble to the other units who fare better in mid-game. Had she had a higher weapon rank, slightly different growths and slightly higher base stats she'd do way better.
  4. Also Oboro gains Seal Defense and Seal Speed by default which I feel make her better as a debuffing unit in contrast to Rinkah's Seal Resitance since ally mages ain't what they used to be.
  5. Smug generic Paladin should have have been a unit for the smugness. Generic merc, ninja, spear fighter and beast tribe characters look more like actual units rather than generics. Especially wolfskin dude. There should have been a main unit soldier class to constrast Oboro. Nice going everyone. Guess our opinion mission is complete.
  6. Sorry Ana but you might see Rinkah as the only tanky because that's the only foot tank unit you invested in. Hinata, Oboro, and even Azama after going Great Master all tank hits better than Rinkah does. There's a reason why Hinata is other castles is either seen as a Vanguard or a Master of Arms to accentuate those features and Oboro by herself comes out great in all the necessary areas. Tsubaki is also an airborne tank and has great utility but you already acknowledged the former.Rinkah's pair ups are pretty great which just delegates her to backpack specifically Kaze's backpack. She also starts with E axes which is pretty sad.
  7. Definitely Yggdra's Union. It's the only game I've played and finished around 8-9 times because I wanted to unlock everything and anything. Also despite it's artstyle, the seriousness of the tone and the harsh reality it presented just kept me hooked every time.
  8. This is giving me the same vibes as what Tokyo Mirage Sessions gave me. On it's own, it would probably look weird or generic to almost everyone but no one would truly judge it until it's out but then after settling in with the new setting and people playing the game, they'd see an honest opinion which people could get around to. Slapping a well known brand name to something that feels and looks like nothing associated with that brand is much more likely to stop fans from buying it even if turns out to be good since preconceptions are being torn about what was to be expected. So this game's biggest sin is simply not wanting to be its own thing even when it's going for something else for now. I can't judge it with anything more than that.
  9. I apologize, I didn't quite see that part but even then I think I've been trained for a bit too long to be objective in these cases, but I appreciate letting us go on to say why we believe them as perfect. I think if I had to be non-objective, it'd be the character, setting, choices and the way things are resolved. The scope of the conflict is just the survival of your village and you as a farmer can go with your life taking things as they come and triggering events that pretty much regular in a daily life feel more personal due to how sympathetic all the characters seem. It's a nice reprieve from completely evil characters and world saving shenanigans most Japanese games tend to do when they need to up the stakes in a way. Shout out for Lost Dimension however for sharing the first place with Frontier due to a mind blowing form of decision making by the end.
  10. Nah, I think the perfect game is a highly based on personal opinion because we need to agree that there was nothing wrong with it in the first place and everything it did was amazing and that's not something all people can form a consensus about. As for my favorite game, Rune Factory: Frontier, I'd say it's the one that hit the nearest "perfect" game criteria I have. Yet despite being able to praise all his strengths, I can find one major complaint that can be leveled at it and that's the Runey system where you need to relocate Runeys so they don't die out from eating each other. It's frankly very tedious and letting areas go die means slower crop growths which is never fun. I could ramble about all the good in it, but I'd probably take myself into a large tangent so this is just the general skim of my view.
  11. Dread Fighter Azama with Witch Orochi. Priestess Mitama to the rescue.
  12. To answer in general. Nina can't really be screwed by any mom she has. If she's more physical, she can just use the bow which has incredible might in this game and if she's more magical, the Shining Bow has her covered. Also Camilla can't screw any kids, she's that good. She's like Nohrian Oboro, Hinoka and possibly Sakura when it comes to passing down the genes.
  13. All I can say is that a For Glory Ness is a giant annoyance to fight when they seem to believe spamming PK Fire is the only way to victory to be continued by a grab and then dodgerolling for everything in between. At least I see Lucas players keeping it interesting much more frequently than they do but I apologize to any Ness mains out there who actually try to play him well.
  14. Rhajat: Much better than Tharja, and most of her downfalls can be pretty much attributed to having to pretend to be very similar to Tharja in some supports. The least disliked child expy of second gen but no one I'd consider a must have in my army. Ophelia: Basically Lissa if she had Odin's personality and having such a similar mindset of both, makes her rather redundant as far as personalities are concerned. I don't mind her, but she doesn't feel that much interesting as she lacks more humanizing moments in the sense that she does not act like Owain, she simply is and while that's good in a certain sense such a personality can be perceived as unnecessarily floral. She's pretty good I'd say, but again not someone who makes it to my main army when I have her dad ready to fight in battle. A sad fate most child units tend to have in my runs not named Shiro, Siegbert, Nina or Dwyer. Sumeragi: Nice moustache, Lobster King.
  15. Throw in a spicy character. The past few characters are just people most just acknowledge in a general sense.
  16. Will the Internet ever escape this plague we call pop culture?
  17. I think you've hit the nail on the head pretty much. I doubt any one of us really minds that F Corrin is more popular. It would be pretty sweet if M!Corn was the more popular one sure, I ain't going to pose as someone too humble but it's just the bashing of M!Corn that gets us. At least I hope that the general reason.
  18. Yeah, 4chan isn't the best place for an unbiased perspective bud. Look at this site and tell me what you see around the forum. Most people here have gripes with certain games and love others but we can generally agree we love the series as a whole or else we wouldn't really be here in this forum. Each past game had it's merits and Awakening wouldn't exist or be so well liked if it didn't conglomerate aspects from past FE games and Fates is just more of Awakening since its still cast under it's shadow for a good portion of it. Make your own decisions and stop caring about the masses. Heck, I'd be a crying wreck if I let every flaw of RD get to me and the Fates fan have it even worse if it was just this forum considering how many times we've called it a complete wreck of a narrative.
  19. Look bud, just tell us how the these two new FE's ruined your life and stop explaining anything else. You don't want to be seen as a troll, but what you're doing by ignoring everyone else's plea for that one singular most important question about your hyperbole needs to be answered. Petty or not, you are coming off as a troll right now so please explain yourself even if the reason is the pettiest thing in the world.
  20. As much as I can agree with the points stated, I think you guys are looking a bit too deep into the Forrest clothing issue. Leo wanted a son that conformed to a pretty normal masculine ideal, Forrest didn't do that so there was an issue. Leo also wasn't really there to guide Forrest into wearing manlier clothes since time shenanigans in the Deeprealms and being probably the most absent father of the lot so that didn't help. Adjusting that easily isn't really something people do so it's pretty surprising how quickly he warmed up to the idea but I can see how this situation could take place. I guess that's my unpopular opinion. That said the faceless need pants or something, they truly have BDSM gear passing for... attire?
