  1. Rescuing, blasphemy!!! :p Really funny Mek, I legitimately laughed out loud.
  2. Chapter 15:7/52 Ran straight east through the mountains, Hector cleared out everything in front of Eliwood, got a 'C' support between the 2 lords. Chapter 16:12/64 Ran up the hallway, not much to say, other than the Caelin guards are retarded Chapter 16x :4/68 Hector is officially strong, lots of running forward with a hand axe. UNIT LEVEL HP ST SK SP LC DF RS WEP LEVEL SUPPORT Eliwood 16.24 29 13 13 13 12 13 6 A SWORD Hector 'C' Hector 19.16 36 20 12 15 13 17 02 A AXE Eliwood 'C' Hector got some near perfect levels in Port of Badon. Chapter 17:4/72 Hector destroys the universe, bought some more handaxes, Eliwood slowly levels up, really gonna need some seals soon ugg. Chapter 18:6/78 Shenanigans entail from having to rescue dart with florina, moving her out of the range of the pirates, if you go through the middle, you can pull all the bowmen and kill the longbow dick and leave her in the middle, needed Eliwood to finish off Uhai. Chapter 18x:6/84 Just a never endless run to the boss, luckily Hector is very strong. Chapter 19: 5/89 Florina picks Lyn up and goes ahead, Merlinius tanks the sniper, Hector wrecks Darrin, must continue on the good fight. 3. ^You are quite talented sir, I am impressed, and yeah, I'm team thwomp, those are all probably realistic assumptions.
  4. To answer the two questions, Midir looks like a girl because of the ponytail and I think most people actually prefer vanilla Noish to vanilla Alec. Good luck with this btw.
  5. Sorry, just saw. Harken Edit: And oops, double post
  6. Chapter 11:Turns 9/9 Eliwood ate some stat boosters and ran, gained two levels of strength and one defense too, no speed though. Already sacrifced a helpless Rebecca and Lowen Chapter 12: 9/18 Ran to the mountain pass with Eliwood. 9's were wild with stats for a while, managed to get Hector a level too. Chapter 13:9/27 Apparently I really like '9's', I had Hector and Eli run towards Merlinus' village and waded through the enemies while the other bozos sat and died at the starting point. Bought lots of hand axes with Matthew Chapter 13x 7/34 Had Marcus resuce Merlinus and run south and sent the Lords up north to kill the boss for xp, Eli finally got more speed UNIT LEVEL HP ST SK SP LC DF RS WEP LEVEL SUPPORT Eliwood 10.23 24 11 11 10 9 10 4 B SWORD Hector 03.02 25 09 06 07 08 09 00 B AXE Chapter 14: 11/45 Ran west with Hector to kill damn Erik so the pirates would stop spawning, Eliwood goes south to pick off the last of the pirates, lots of Speed for Hector.
  7. Mounts are banned, it's why's it's called sadism.
  8. almost pissed myself that was so unbelievable. My condolences, if my team lost like that, I wouldn't be able to post because I would have thrown my computer out of a window.
  9. The lampooning probably isn't very productive guys. Whether you love the new(ish) features or not; they've become part of a series that we ostensibly all enjoy. Some people like the actual serious part of those features. But to the question at hand, I would prefer a return to a more limited support base and no children characters, just to provide a more diverse story potential and better fleshed out characters, at least characters that don't have no shtick. I would also prefer non-MU lords, but I haven't played Fates yet, so we'll see how that goes.
  10. While my Guitar Gently Weeps (George never gets enough love)
  11. Well,, that was one ugly route by Floyd, now let's see how little the Steelers throw the ball as long as they have the lead. The Bell train has just begun.
  12. 'The only thing you have to fear is fear itself', though it's hard to travel cross country and win big games, it'll show what kind of team they are. They will be okay in terms of the standings, but the Steelers still have a pretty tough schedule ahead of them, I know they still have to play the Cards (Ben won't be back, tough to win), the Seahawks and the Rams, so they have to start playing better.
  13. That's pretty funny. But I don't think IS will touch a Jugdral remake with a 10 foot pole; they seem to be more interested in forging a new path for the series and a remake of what are now basically the oldest games (minus Gaiden) would seem to be antithetical to that goal. Besides, the story necessitates that you basically wipe out the whole cast in an SNES style bloodbath and I don't think that would be well received by modern audiences. And if they don't have a bloodbath, that's a way to piss old time fans off, so no win there.
  14. I basically feel the same way, but there have been so many good Fire Emblem games in the past, that I feel IS has earned my loyalty for at least one game; Awakening wasn't my favorite Fire Emblem, but it wasn't the worst either. Fates could still be good, maybe localization will help it, who knows?
  15. Basically this, if I say something out loud, the chance that I will remember it increases exponentially.
  16. The difference is basically that every character has personality flaws that should somehow harm them. Ike has his flaws and the game is at times willing to emphasize them and have him work through them. When you, the consumer of the product, are the lead, the game doesn't want to point out any flaws that you posses, because they want you to enjoy the game and no one likes to think of themselves as a mess up. Granted, I haven't played Fates, but from the sound of it, he is a typical Mary Sue, none of his flaws come back to bite him in the butt at all. Good main characters, have flaws because every human has flaws, part of the interest of a good story is a character working through these flaws and improving him/herself. Edit: Damn Loki beat me :p.
  17. I've only never seen that information second hand, but I've read on this forum that Fire Emblem's official website listed Beowulf as the official father to Lachesis, but was later changed.
  18. Every single one of Tailto's pairings is slow and a pain in the but the acquire, minus Claude, so that's kind of hard to count against Lex. Besides, what is Lex really doing in ch. 4 and 5 anyway, all those enemies are a little fast for his taste. And the real advantage to giving them a Lex pairing is elite, because Serlis and Leif basically have a monopoly on the ring for the first 3 chapters, allowing them to get them to promotion and help them to do good things for your team (Arthur and his horse and Tinny with staves). The vantage/wrath combo will be useful for whichever you give tron to, probably Arthur and will allow him to be useful in the mid game, he's going to fall off at the endgame, but that's pretty much dominated by Holy Weapon users anyway. I think it's an overstatement to call it a terrible pairing.
  19. That sort of turns us back full circle, with the whole collective bargaining agreement; I don't think the NFL really cares about players except as a commodities, which is fair because players only care about their teams for the money they can earn. Football isn't really a safe game, in fact it's violent, bloody, and cruel. I understand the rule changes, I'm just sort of a fuddy duddy who likes old fashioned bloody trench football. The game isn't conducive to that right now.
