Telling you to do something and explaining why I do something so you may find a similar reason to do the same are not the same thing.

I was listing my reasoning as to why I keep such units. I wasn't telling you to do the same.

The reason I say it is so you hopefully don't do the same thing again in the future - which is to send home a 5* unit you believe you have no reason to keep. I have an array of 5* units I keep but don't use, for a bunch of reasons. My personal reasoning goes like this: 1. They can be used as fodder for their 5* weapons/skills. Maybe not right now, but in the future, someone will more than likely appreciate something this unit has. 2. To keep the unit, train them to level 40, and who knows, maybe I will actually like and use them in the future, and more copies will be merged together if they have nothing worthy to fodder. 3. Just so I can say "I have this unit." Every reason are individually worth more than a thousand feathers to me. Examples: I've been pitybroken by a second Mist recently. The last thing I wanted to see when I was hoping to summon Spring Kagero. I simply merged the 2 Mists together. I summoned a -atk 5* Tailtyu. I had kept her unused and stored for literally months. Then I summoned Summer Corrin, and I used both a 4* Tailtyu and the 5* copy to give Corrin both Bladetome+ and Drive Spd 2 (both 5* exclusive skills). I try to make the best out of every 5* pitybreaker, no matter how shit it may be (can't get shitter than Mist now after the mass demotion).

A +1 merge is worth more than a measly thousand feathers. Imagine in the future when you've summoned your 11th Amelia and you could've had her at 5*+10, but instead you've gained nothing more than 10,000 feathers which is only half the cost of upgrading one 4* unit. I think you put too much value into the worth of feathers. My own Amelia is at +4 merges right now, at least 2 of those are off-focus summons.

Amelia's a fantastic unit for an armour composition. But yeah, as I told you before, being pitybroken is pretty much the only reason why I almost exclusively summon from Legendary banners now. Just take satisfaction in knowing a Merric or some other green shitter can never pitybreak you in a normal banner now. All the 5* exclusive greens are actually pretty great in their own way.

Today I've completed my second 5*+10: Adult Tiki. I have no spare Reinhardts to merge into my +6 merged version, so that means I should choose my next project besides him, and begin saving feathers. I need a blue, really, to compliment my completed Nino and Adult Tiki. I'm considering Nowi, or even one of the many lancers, since I could use some physical damage. Then again, Nowi targets both defense types when refined. I'll make her a physical tank since I have a good res tank in Nino and a good mixed tank in Tiki. Luckily I have exactly one spare Brave Ike for Steady Breath fodder.

That would be a reasonable explanation depending on how many people are within each outrealm. The less people, the more likely such lopsidedness scoring will occur.

These armies can't possibly evenly be evenly matched in numbers. Anna's team has access to only these 2 areas (with F-Morgan and Laslow) yet they're hardly fighting in one and are barely leading in the other. They should theoretically be destroying both areas, assuming equal numbers on all teams. Just, what.

The more Legendary Heroes are released, the less it matters about which Blessing he receives since they will all eventually give all stats. With his Falchion refine, people use him as a buffbot, although he can still fight rather well. So in short, anything goes.

This makes Pirate Shit look easy in comparison. Either that or you're pretty damn reckless lol.

Ursula Lunatic: Black Knight (w/ B:Vantage 3 and S:Distant Defense 3, and +2 merges) + 3 random units. BK in position 3, position 4 random unit with the Drive Def 3 seal. Turn 1: Move BK down one. Turn 2: Move BK right one. Turn 3: End turn. The AI may act differently depending on who your allies are, their levels, colour, etc. but this works for me. --- HM gains are influenced by a bunch of things. But having a higher level on average gives more HM.

I reckon +spd -def Nino w/ Moonbow is like 90% the most common build lol. All the Ninos listed in the original post are near-identical. And for good reason: she's a fuckin' animal. Edit: Also, first post updated.

Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere, to name but one. It got a Western release but the game was butchered compared to the original Japanese release - it's missing many story points, a branching story, all the animated cutscenes, individual characters/character development, and probably more.

I honestly think that some exclusive 5* units will eventually drop down to the 4-5* pool. However, I think it will take another year before anything like that happens. Either way. This is pretty much what so many people have wanted for going on half a year, now. No more being pitybroken by such undesirable units such as Fae and Hawkeye for me. The green 5* exclusive pool is pure sex. It's just a shame that shit like Mist and Faye remain up in the 5* exclusive zone and are still able to pitybreak me outside of legendary banner summons. Colourless hell is still a thing, it seems.

I gave up spilling salt over this game mode a long time ago. The last time was when Lyn was KO'd by Camilla due to a multiplier, actually. Since then, no fucks given. Just pick who I like the most and give no fucks about the results because the multiplier system has such a huge backfire rate. Just thinking of the feathers is what makes me play it. I was in Lucina's army since round 1, since she is my favourite of the Spring units I actually own. Not owning Catria makes me sad, though.
