    Not really; the enemy normally has at most one or two effective weapons a map (other than bows). Meanwhile Hector now has an even easier time against all those Knight bosses (and the Nomads).

    If you do it correctly, you can have Sigurd just run straight past her and kill the boss + seize with no more than one battle between them. If you can't manage that, have Alec lure her (he has Nihil, so he can survive a round with her) and then have him run away while she chases him. Either way, as soon as you seize, she'll de-aggro and start running back towards the castle. Talk to her with Sigurd to recruit.

    Don't shoot yourself in the foot before you even start just because you're stubborn. Hacks don't fall into obscurity because they're not as good as TLP or Elibian Nights- they fall into obscurity because 90% of them never get finished. If you actually accomplish what you want to, the engine it's on won't make that much of a difference. Besides, you're not really going to be competing with Elibian Nights anyways; that's an original hack while what you're planning is a FE6 rebalance, even if you build it from scratch. PCC and 30% crit don't belong together IMO. Even if you implement the bit where crit maxes out at 25 for the first hit, any SM/Zerk/Sniper with a PCC of even 2 will be rocking 100% crit on every single second attack with a Killer weapon.

    How many characters even reach 27 AS? Other than the aforementioned Rutger/Fir/Shin, there's Sue, Thany, Tate, and... Gonzales? Can't think of anyone else, unless you count Murgleis!Klein/Igrene, but you might as well just stick it on Shin so he can double even the SMs. The problem is that only SMs, NTs, FKs, and Berserkers have a SPD cap of >26. A bunch of units ram their 25 SPD caps. It'll make every team something like Rutger/Fir/Shin/Tate/Gonzales, which isn't much fun.

    I think the most important question for FE7 and especially FE6 will be whether or not HM bonuses are allowed. Don't count Fir out either. IIRC her stats are comparable or better to Rutger's in mostly everything but DEF in HM, and she has an arguably better support list. She has Rutger + Shin, whereas Rutger himself has only her out of units that are likely to be good.

    I was (mostly) joking but we could do it if people find it interesting. To even the field for some of the prepromotes who come later on (would depend on the game), we could also allow weapon ranks to be kept at base and then let any weapons be used. That way the prepromotes who end up with shit stats have better weapons to fall back on. Someone somewhere would probably screw it up though.

    Next we should have a Little Cup meta- everyone is at Level 1 (with people who start off higher being deleveled) and only E rank weapons are allowed.

    Well, yeah, the main character is a pansy. That's the whole point; Tyler Durden is a manifestation of everything the main character wants to be and isn't.

    Well, yeah. Caps don't have a huge variance and everyone gets equal access to forges, so weapons don't make a huge difference either. It's supports and skills, really. I think a FE8 max stat meta would be more interesting, because of holy weapons. I guess Tana loves her brother too much.

    IIRC I just thought that asking whether or not people thought the mafia was cultproof would be an okay point of opening introduction. I'm 95% sure I wasn't intending to claim cultproof, since I wasn't Godfather or anything and I knew that being inspected to get confirmed would have been a bad idea. I don't think I even realized that people might interpret it as me being cultproof (or me being mafia trying to see if a cultproof fake was valid) until people started asking me if I was cultproof. moral of the story: when I roll mafia in OC games, I get lynched D1

    Getting your cult leader lynched after you get culted is anti-wincon, and if I'd been Rein I wouldn't have let you sign up for a game with a cult in it. >_> Anyways I was basically mafia LVP for messing around in the first hour of the game and then subbing out and leaving Snike with my mess. Really sorry again.

    It is dumb, which is why I pointed it out. Also, Tate is kind of bad combat-wise in NM and Shanna is the same in HM. They can be used, certainly, but it's a lot of feeding kills and headache if you're not playing efficiently for not a lot of reward.

    Nobody likes Sacae though, meaning they have to also feed EXP to Thany and Tate if they want to go to Ilia and also use Shin. Or they have to wait until Ilia to really begin using Shin properly.

    Man that part was so annoying the first time. Then the second time I had MAX MAGIC get rekt. I also say go to to Court. It'll get you to Yielding the fastest and considering how unfocused your skill gain is going to be, you need to unlock magic asap For now I say train Strategy and Logistics. Now that I've played through the game, there's only like... one thing that Intrigue is really that good for, and the only place Ciphering comes into handy requires a whole slew of other skills and is also very soon unless I'm mistaken. But MILITARY is always useful. I think if you get Accounting to >50 and unlock the outfit, you can get into the treasury. It's faster than Presence, which needs >60 + outfit. But then Presence is more useful for other checks, so... tossup.
