If this isn't serious LTC, Celice isn't guaranteed the Elite Ring. And even if he does have it, Celice can be done with the Elite Ring by C7 if he's allowed to take the lion's share of kills in C6.

Not really, Cam. Aere had a quite sizable wagon at a point in C1. Rapier just didn't have time to switch from it, which is why it looks as if he didn't vote for somebody other people were voting for.

The main attraction of Fin over Lex is Pursuit. If Lex!Arthur is getting the Pursuit Ring, then I might as well argue that Fin!Arthur is getting the Elite Ring.

The only problem I see with it is that if the games are being voted for, games hosted by newer players or first-time hosts who don't have a reputation for great games might not start for a long time, and that's not exactly fair.

Freddy actually falls behind very quickly due to how many times you can level-up in this game, because his stats while high for his join time, are very low for his level, and he receives very low EXP gain. He's still extremely useful for the first 10 chapters or so, especially on the harder modes, but he's no Seth who is your best character for the first 15 chapters and then the second/third best for the last 5.

IMO, Ephraim is very Stu-like on the surface. Everyone refers to him as great at everything, and the Lyon bit. But he's also the only one who DOESN'T have the love of his people (in the main story anyways), and this is one of my favourite lines of FE8: Seth: ...They’re not cheering for you. They cheer because Orson’s misrule is at an end. They cheer the possibility of a better tomorrow, not the deeds we did today. But how will the hearts of the people move tomorrow and the next day? What happens if we hit Aere and it turns out to be a mislynch? I don't really see your point. And a 1-shot deathproof scum in a mini is no.

I didn't say that one of Shinori/Aere are totes 100% scum, I said that I'd hazard a guess that maybe one of them is. But I don't know who and it's not a major thing I'm sure of either. Nor did I ever say that this was my strongest scumread, so I'm not sure why you're tunneling in so much on that one post. And, bussing doesn't require you to be the source of the lynch. The purpose of bussing is to make yourself look good after the person whom you voted for flips scum, and that's what you did. As you yourself said, there was no point to your vote other than to bring the hammer quicker, as he was getting lynched either way. So you just put yourself on his wagon so that afterwards, when people see the votals, they see that you voted for a scum's lynch. I'm being one of the only active and contributive players too. Does that make me town as well? I agree that Prims is looking townie, but your reasoning for it is bad and you should change it.

I really don't think that Aere is our last scum member.

I notice that there's no mention in the OP of how resources allocation is decided. If pokemon are considered in a vacuum and Charizard can have whatever he wants, it's all good, but otherwise, using 3 one-use TMs and a one-use Move Tutor just so that Charizard can have a passable performance against the E4 is questionable.

...What? You do know that Wrath comes from Tiltyu, not Lex, right? Arthur and Tinny ALWAYS have Wrath, no matter who their dad is. Lex gives them Elite and Ambush (which is the important one, as it allows them to OHKO units when they're at low health before they get attacked), and Fin gives Prayer and Pursuit. Prayer fulfills the same function as Ambush in that it allows the kids to stay alive longer, and Pursuit, allows Fin!Arthur/Tinny to attack twice, because even with a Magic Ring they stop OHKOing after a while. They'll be lower-leveled than Lex!Arthur/Tinny, to be sure, but it can be worth it because they ORKO for longer. They'll promote later, but it's casual play anyways, and it's not like the extra levels are getting them many more MAG procs.

Well, as for pre-promotes being bad in other games, while other early-joining character might end up with higher stats than them, the pre-promotes don't need training, and don't need to be given EXP to be functional. Plus, while their stats are not as high, in many of the games, they're still good enough. Not ALL pre-promotes are good, but there are always ones that are. Marcus, Pent, Seth, Duessel, Titania... The list is fairly long.

I don't think that Rapier, Aere, and Shinori have said anything of importance at all so far this phase. Seriously guys, come on. Rapier I hear is sick so that's something, but Aere has posted in this thread since the cycle started several times and said nothing other than "Kaoz/Elie was town Core was scum), and Shinori has posted in the mafia forum a couple times too.

I don't think Aere is scum at this point, although I haven't liked his play in the thread either. And if we assume that he's town, then so is Blitz (unless Blitz is a role Godfather). Plus, Iris has barely focused on her supposed wincon of lynching SB either. I mean, I get that nobody would listen to her if all she said was lynch lynch lynch. But it's LYLO and she doesn't have time to help the town out enough that she can get SB lynched later. Honestly, if I was in her position and my target was SB, I'd have given up. And yet, Iris has still attempted to contribute here and there. And she never said her target was Yugi until we asked her if it was. I reeeeeeeeeally think she's lying about her target and SB is scum. Consider that not everybody had claimed by the time Manix did, and he claimed Duke. Now, while Duke isn't an incredibly important character, he's not so obscure that he's a safe fakeclaim to make when two people still haven't claimed their character. It gives me the feeling that the mafia were provided character fakeclaims, and in that case, why COULDN'T he be fakeclaiming Yugi? Look at GSM, a considerably larger mafia game than this, which was based on a game with far less important characters than Yugioh. It had characters like Hama and Feizhi and didn't have Isaac or Ivan. Yugi doesn't have to be in this game just because he's the main character.

Prims made this point and I responded to it. I found Marth's actions scummier, so I mentioned only those results. Keep in mind that this post was made before Elie's role was revealed. Now that it's been revealed that Elie's role could gather info mid-cycle, I suppose it's also possible that scum can do the same. Also, I just realized this, but Elieson's role heavily implies that the mafia have to choose their kill target in the first half of the cycle. Otherwise, the only kills he could foretell would be Vig/SK kills, and it'd be kind of bastardly if the Doctor was geared towards stopping his own faction's kills.
