I only have experience with 3'rd tier classes from RD(haven't played Gaiden). Personally, I would love all the classes to have 3'rd tiers because it's a mechanic I've missed since RD for how cool it is and how much it stands out! Or heck, go a step further and let you also have a choice in alternate classes like in Sacred Stones. (Felt like showing the picture, also, it's a good example ) Pretty much: 3'rd tiers + Alternate Classes(some only for specific classes)= Massive Variety! It'd be a way to make certain units(like the villigers in the trailer) be whatever you need to have a balanced team! (Again, no experience with Gaiden whatsoever, just throwing ideas out there!)

While part of me isn't sure, another part of me thinks that this may spark some interest in that direction. If people love certain characters a lot, they probably like the game! Of course FE4 & 5 are the most anticipated. If they ever do 6 & 7, I want them to, if possible, fuse the games together and pull a FE4 since a good chunk of characters ARE the children of characters of from FE7. Also, instead of going 3D, just stick to the 2D sprites and update them to make them really smooth and nice and add the Tactician as a unit so I can support them with Lyn...PLEASE ! (Also, tweak the RNG for FE6 and stop with attacking reinforcements on the same turn and we'll be golden! It will make me like the game a lot more! Although Chapter 14:Arcadia will probably still suck regardless...) As for the Tellius games, for PoR, add Maniac mode, that's all I really want...maybe make a few buffs for thieves or something small of that manner(and maybe let other units be able to damage the final boss because there is so much special dialogue you miss out on in that fight since you wouldn't think to use anyone else besides Ike. The whole "Blessed Armor" thing should only be a thing for his second phase in hard mode). RD, besides actual support(and maybe have it coincide with the system they already have in that game), add a few new things like dialogue, chapters(for the sake of leveling characters and getting supports...maybe go old school and make Gaiden chapters like in the GBA games...it would help the DB...), and a couple of endings(and maybe a few tiny retcons for certain things because Ike leaving is something that's kinda griped with me for some time...give him a ending with Elincia...and also give an ending for Mist with Rolf...that would make me happy ). And for every game(of course)...ADD CASUAL MODE! If they remaster FE4 and 5, all they really need to do is add Casual mode. As for RD being "too hard", that game(and correct me if I'm wrong) just uses a RNG system that both Awakening and Fates(and FE1-5) have. Whatever the hit chance is, that's what the hit chance is(so your actual luck is honestly quite a factor because while missing a with a hit chance of 96% or getting hit with a 36% hit rate AND being critted by 1% chance is very unlikely, it will more likely happen if your luck ain't on your side at that moment......grrr...darn Onmyoji got me like that...TWICE ).

Oh no, no, no. Sorry, I should've explained better! It's more of a lack of interest to play them as whole then X7 or X8's fault(...its a pretty petty and not really a good reason honestly). Believe it or not, I actually like X7(even though it isn't that great). Like I've said, I've seen the games in action and enjoyed watching them. It's just playing them myself is when the issue arises. Then again, I just haven't really sat down and played them(I think its just my tastes for 2D platforms not being so great and growing up with mainly 3D platformers. I don't have many under my belt, so it honestly could just be that I'm sticking with how I felt about them before and not seeing if I hold the same opinion now. Like how I use to dislike Metroid, but some time later, I gave it a good shot, and I greatly enjoyed it and like the series to this day......if that makes enough sense). I'll give them a shot when I can(because quite honestly, if I can enjoy the Zero series, I can find some enjoyment in the X games). Although...I know for a fact that X6 is full of bullcrap and cheapness(in the words of a commentator I watch, "this game cheats, so I like to cheat back!". A.K.A. uses cheat code for Black Zero. Oh, and the fact that you could possibly not beat the final stages without a jump upgrade), X7 (while I like it) is not super interesting(and I understand why some don't like it), and X8 is kinda alright, but still has its bullcrap moments(screw the UFO-looking reploid you chase in the city. He's the main reason I haven't beaten X8 as of yet because I always die in the chase and have never gotten to the dang boss fight). From what I've seen, X1 seems the most balanced and kinda straightforward, 2 seems pretty ok, and 3 & 4 seem like mixed bags depending on the person.

Know how most people found about Fire Emblem through Smash? I...wasn't one of them. I played my friend's copy of Melee alot when I was around 8 or 9 and all I thought of Roy and Marth was "these guys are pretty cool", I liked playing as Roy, and that was mainly it. It wasn't until about a year later when my friend, who never really had interest in Fire Emblem, told me about the series. At this point in my life. I had been introduced to emulators(by the same friend) and while I was a bit unsure and a bit scared about the whole "perma-death" thing, I said screw it and tried it anyway.......Best. Decision. Of my life(...ok...maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but it's importance still stands high for me)! It honestly changed how I see and enjoy games, and it made me actually made me want to try to give new games a try(because it could be the next "Fire Emblem" for me). It's a principal I still use to this day! It's quite surprising how much this series has had an influence on me(it goes quite deeper then what I've already stated, but I'll spare you the details)! As for the games, FE7 got me into the series, but it was FE9 that made me love it and be the huge fan I am today(but part of that is because I used savestates constantly when I first played FE 7, 8, and 6[6 especially] and I mean like...3 every turn...I kinda sucked... When I found PoR in a gamestop, surprised that this game existed, I got it, and it made me actually use my brain since I couldn't rely on savestates anymore.) It's these games that made this series(no matter the ups and downs they may have) without a doubt, my favorite video game series of all time(only rivaled by the Megaman series, more so the Rpg ones)! ...sorry for so much gushing for this series, I can't help it! (Oh, it took me a few years, but I actually got my friend interested in the series! Not by a large margin, but to a small degree!)

Let's see... Undertale...I just never had the interest...despite enjoying Earthbound quite a lot(heck, I didn't even know Undertale existed for a couple of months, despite it's huge popularity). Pokemon Gen 1 & 3...Gen 1, whether it be the original or remake, I was just never found it too interesting(I kinda found the region a bit..boring and uninteresting). Gen 3 isn't bad, but for some reason I always stop around the same point in the game(after gym 5). I don't know why, but I always do and I never really have too much interest to go back to it. But It was TECHNALLY my Pokemon game I ever played(along with the Gen 1 remake), which even then I only played for about 30 minutes the first time, then gave it in to gamestop(and didn't play it again for about 2 years or so). It did get me to try out Gen 4 (platinum) when it came out though and I cannot thank it enough for that(Don't care what others say, I love Gen 4 )! Crash Bandicoot()...yeah...this one is a bit weird for me... I can enjoy it when watching others playing it(like on Youtube), but me personally...not so much. Only game that every really had interest in was Crash 4(wrath of Cortex), but that's partly because my best friend's older bother wouldn't let us play the xbox he had when we were kids(but he hid that game and all we had was Sonic Heroes when we snuck and played it when he sleeped) and Crash Bash(the party game) which I had a demo for on the ps1 Demo disc. Then again, it might have to do with growing up with Spyro...or maybe not...Dunno...I respect Crash though! Megaman (Original and X specifically)...like Crash, I enjoy watching others play it, but I don't have much interest. I played the original 1,2, & maybe 3, and X7 & X8, which are pretty alright, but I never had much interest in the others much(I've only BEATEN X7 though). What's weirder is that I've played and enjoy the Zero series...it's weird, I know. Although, to be fair, I jumped into (and grew up with the) Megaman series with Battle Network(love that series), so maybe that has something to do with it...or I should just sit down and give'em another go. Starfox...I can see why others like it, but I'm not too big of a fan...yet I like Advetures... Final Fantasy XV...I'm not the biggest FF fan, but I do enjoy the games (even FF1, as simple as it is). So when I saw how XV had a similar playstyle to like say Kingdom Hearts(which I greatly enjoy), I was intrigued. However, after watching a few videos of the demo....I...kinda lost a lot of interest. It doesn't look like a bad game, it looks fun, but...it just didn't stick. Maybe because I kinda like seeing my enemies react to my attacks or something like that...speaking of which... Monster Hunter...I find it cool, but I couldn't really got into it. 2D Mario...Now this is partly because I grew up with 3D Mario & platforms more then 2D ones. That and I kinda suck at some 2D platforms and/ or they aren't as appealing...but it seems to be more with Mario for me). So It's just more of a preference really( I would say this is probably why Megaman and X don't do it too much for me, but I like Zero...and Sonic 3...so...eh...) Animal Crossing...for guy who really enjoys Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons, I don't have much interest in AC whatsoever. ...If you couldn't tell, my tastes are kinda weird for somethings(and/or some of my reasons are kinda a bit petty)... I will say that it gets better near the halfway point, but I kinda can't blame you for feeling that way(Personally, Luke...gets much better, trust me. Mieu...love the little guy! Tear is...alright. Anise is ok, has a good few moments though! Natalie I didn't like at first, but she grew on me. I love Jade for being such a sarcastic jerkward, but still serious when he needs to. Guy is quite interesting. He isn't comfy around girls despite probably being the guy most likely to be able charm one. The reason why? ......I...rather not say...). I only have Symphonia, Abyss, Phantasia, and (technically) Vesperia(I watched am LP of it)under my belt. If you can, try Vesperia, I don't think it'll be as "trope-y", it gets pretty dang dark and serious at times! I would say why, but you know...spoilers. Just give a while though to warm up though.

While I feel Fates did better in this department then Awakening, I kinda agree with you. Plus, I kinda want what Radiant Dawn did and made the criticals and skills have different animations(and kinda a bit flashy and awesome). Also have the small details like Knights block with their shields instead of dodging. (Video of what I mean in Spoiler tag)

My thoughts are similar, I see the remakes on the 3DS while the main titles are on the Switch. It's way to cater to both in a way. On one hand, you have the people who already have a 3DS and want that market to be satisfied with still owning their 3DS(and who can't get a Switch at the moment) by having only remakes(those who really care for the remakes will give them attention). On the other hand, they make a new FE game for the Switch that's much better in terms of quality and vast potential then the remakes, so they have a reason to get the Switch as well. Besides, anything thing that has a system like the Tellius games already has me sold already As for as a whole, I doubt Nintendo will drop the 3DS so quickly. Considering such a large amount of people own a 3DS, it would be a bad idea to just chuck it too quick. Besides, the Switch needs some time to get a good momentum going in both sales and games(something that'll take a almost year to do), so Nintendo still needs the 3DS as a strong backbone for a good while. After that, they will very slowly lean off the 3DS. I actually like Dorcas and, while I haven't yet, I do want to vote for the guy(even more now then ever). I didn't even know about the meme thing...I saw the commercial, but I didn't know it was Dorcas they said(it soounds like Dorca instead)... ...with commercials like these, no wonder FE didn't get much recognition till Awakening, where they actually marketed the game right! Also, gotta love how their first reaction to a man being poisoned and dies in front of them is laughter...slow clap...

Unfortunately, while I do like Roy in Smash, I'll pick Lucina faster then Roy(heck, she's one of my mains in Smash 4). It might have to do with not a lot of people playing the Tellius game(since getting both games cost an arm and a leg ). Ike is kinda riding on both his status as a really good FE Lord AND Smash(it's partly why Roy is so high). Oh Mia and Nephenee(more so in Radiant Dawn and the one's on the list) are powerhouses! Character wise, Nephenee is a shy country girl(and the only one till Donnel and Mozu) and Mia is a happy-go-lucky kind of girl who's quite a fighter. I would say more, but you know, rather you see some supports for yourself(not the deepest characters, but they'll pretty cool)! Check Mia's support with Largo(in PoR of course)!

Ah well...doesn't hurt to try. I still am Happy Dorcas(somehow) got on there. He's beating Corrin(AND Owain) as well, which is an achievement on it's own!

Guys, we need to keep Micaiah in the top ranks, so please...vote for her(at least once...or twice)! Do it for her(and us all)! That...is quite the contrast... To go from FE6 to go to Awakening AND have to remake a design from Tellius? Man, that person must've had it rough!

Hmmm...if the poll is on the forum itself, I would have to have their names twice, make two threads, or something along those lines...unless there's a way to make a poll elsewhere that I can link and allows you to do that. Oh! Maybe have it similar to like the SF Scribbles where there multiple rounds! Each continent's top 10(Males & Females) goes head to head and then from those voted, the top 20(Males & Females) from those go into a final showdown. For example... (Males)Round 1, your Continent. > Round 2, the top 100..or how many there are...> Final round, Top 20 (Females)Round 1, your Continent. > Round 2, the top 100..or how many there are...> Final round, Top 20 ...hmmm ...thinking about it, that would split every one up, but it would give everyone a fighting chance... Also, we could even have an additional one that combines the top 20 from both genders to compete to be the most popular overall! ...I know, that's ALOT of work if I go that route(that's 13+ voting polls, one more if I add the last one), but like I said, it'd give every one a fighting chance(plus it'll show who's the best in their respective continents AND the series as a whole)! I think it just differs with men and woman as a whole. Guys are able to fight without armor on or a shirt...but it's doesn't make sense to do so(especially in a war). It's worse with girls since there isn't much reason to show much skin unless your fighting style requires more leg room, that's just your native attire(like Lyn for example), or maybe where you lived has you wear more or less clothing(Hawkeye and Tharja, they lived in the desert). At the same time, you can show some skin, just don't let that be a focus... That's another thing...what was with the "barely any clothes" with the dark mages in Fates(and Awakening to a certain extent)? Wait, there is? I wouldn't notice(but I can't get the thought out my head now...crap...gonna need an hour to get that out).

You do have a good point there. However, that's kinda why people like Elincia and Jill are brought up on this thread a lot. They have those 3 factors, yet they aren't anywhere. I think that's the main kicker here(and why people have issues with some people on here). And as for Camilla, I still do like her...in a way. Her design(minus the shown off undies) is pretty nice(and I can't deny that she is very pretty) and her character, when you actually see it, is pretty interesting. But with Camilla I feel, just like with Fates as a whole, there is a lot of potential, but it isn't used to it's fullest potential(since there is barely any of her character shown through most of her supports and interesting points of discussion, like how Silas was jealous of Corrin for having an older sister AND him having a crush on Camilla as a kid, leaves a lot to be desired since it's only in her A support with him...still ticked about that). As for strength, I wouldn't really know, I used Beruka instead on my playthrough(and she freakin' rocks)!

Seeing how there are 50+ people for each gender, it would be hard to vote for just 1. So instead, I'm taking another page from the FE Heroes Poll and let everyone choose 13 people(or maybe between 13-20...or just 10. Not too sure yet). Just gonna go with the honer system on this one! All of the above! It'll take a bit more time, but I wanna have EVERYONE get a chance! Playable or non-playable!

Well, to be fair, most people are voting based on character personalities and the what not. I can't speak for everyone, but Camilla and Tharja kinda feel like they're up there due to appearance and their obsessions with the avatar(or more so fanservice...whichever one) and less for their character...something a lot of people feel others are much better in that category. Also, personally, Tharja I don't mind as much(because there is more to her character that is actually shown more), Camilla...eh...not a lot(even if there a character there, you probably miss it since she's so focused on Corrin all the time...supports and all)... For a class that, pre Tellius, was pretty much a punching bag, to finally get someone in that class must have been very interesting(And dang...did they make an impression with Neph!).

Hey if you want too, I'll be more then happy(and appreciate it)! Just do what you want, I'm in no rush(but I can do it quickly if wanted). I'm gonna be nuts and go the FE Heroes poll route...EVERY CHARACTER(Male poll and Female poll)! (I did think of having a third poll, with every character in the series fighting it out for the top spot, but that would take TONS more work, for both me and everyone voting. So I'll probably not do that one. Maybe some other day...maybe a year or so from now...)

Honestly, I'm kinda not surprised that any character pre-FE 6 is on here. Only the people who really go out of their way to see the other games really know about the characters besides the ones in the US/EU games( which, unfortunately, is probably quite a small portion of the overall Fandom. ) And yeah, the Female list is more or less Waifu city(because how characters Camilla and Tharja are on the list and high up, yet characters like Elincia or Jill, are no where to be seen...its a tragedy...) Actually, I just realized...Charlotte is NOWHERE on here, yet she has more character then Camilla(and maybe Fe.Corrin[...not sure, haven't seen much of her besides Smash]) does! Also, I do wish the votes counted for that person as a whole instead of splitting them for a character being in more then 1 game! It screws the whole poll over since characters with 2+ entries have it harder to rise up among the ranks(the Tellius and FE4-5 characters especially)!

Ok, so with the FE Heroes popularity poll going on, it's quite a mix of everyone from the series. Course(and not to be rude), some people's reason for voting for a character is much different from one another(for better or worse). After talking with others on the poll, then the idea to make a popularity poll for SF came to mind! Now, I'm not asking the staff/moderators to do it(because I rather not bother them will all that work), so I rather do it myself. Here's the issue, do you guys want that? To make a poll for both Males and Females would take ALOT of work(getting all the names, alphabetizing them, make the poll, etc)! I don't mind doing it, but I also want it to be worth it. So yeah...do you guys want a FE popularity poll here in the Serenes Forest (Forums)? (And If so, do you want it after the FE Heroes poll ends or is any time around now a good time?)
