Can't help but agree with ya. I don't hate the guy, but some of the stuff he does kinda mixes like oil and water for me. He isn't COMPETELY a bad guy(at times, he can be pretty cool), but some of the stuff he kinda stands for, like I've said, mixes like water and oil for me. Hench why I'm not the biggest fan of his. It's even worse because I never realized every Lord(for the US/EU games) are in the polls...except him! Even both versions of Robin and Corrin are on here(M.Corrin surprises me greatly...)...poor guy... Yeah...they only have 4 maps before the final boss to support each other and...that's a very short amount of time to get that done(technically 3 since Ike is separated from everyone for one map...)...they would have to add at least 2 or 3 maps just for that to happen more smoothly(the only map they could add that comes to mind is a battle before entering the tower)! And for the FE7 commercial... totally made sense and markets a brand new game series perfectly ...it's something at the very least.

There's this part of me that hopes if we ever get a RD Remake, they'll reckon Ike's ending and (if he has A-support with Elincia), he'll stay and they get together. It would be awesome in a pairing sense and a story sense(rose from being low class to royalty...it would show that your fate isn't decided from when you're born..something they bring up in PoR a bit). It's a dream...but I will continue to dream it!(Hey, maybe something will come from these poll results besides the stuff for FE Heroes...you never know...) I recently saw that commercial for the first time(thanks to Jwitz) and I gotta ask...what the heck was that?!

Not gonna lie, Elincia is probably one of the prettiest woman in Tellius( I would make a list of the others, but that's probably for a topic I could make later ). I pray to God that Roy doesn't get #1......I don't hate the guy, but the kind of hell that would break loose on the internet if he does will be massive(Him in Smash is one thing, Him in FE is another)!

Hector and Lyn being at the top is fine with me, Roy...#1 is not for him. If it's gamewise(excluding Smash), he's...ok, but not top 10 material(sorry). As much as I like Mia and Nephenee, to see Elincia NOWHERE is a crime! Jill isn't on here either, which surprises me even more! (Darn you Camilla and Tharja...more so Camilla...)

Oh my Gosh! Dorcas is ACTUALLY in the top 20! That actually makes me very happy(always liked him more then Bartre to be honest! And he's beating Corrin...and Owain...huh...fancy that crap. Corrin, I'm with. Owain...that's surprising. Either way, happy to see him get some love)! Mia and Nephenee are on there too...neat(no Marcia though...oh well...)! ....wait...what?! NO ELINCIA...OR JILL?! What the heck?! ...*sigh*...well...I'm happy that Micaiah is in the top 10 at least(...gonna vote for her later)! ...Roy is #2, with no Eliwood in sight...ok(poor guy...Lyn, Hector, and his son are leading the boards, yet, he himself is no where in sight...) . Switch Henry for Takumi(or even Donnel) and we're good(no offense to anyone who likes Takumi or Donnel...I like them too...but I like Henry more personally)! Tharja is beating Camilla...huh. I'm fine with this. Ike is taking the (Male) leader board by storm! Also, looking at this list, for both genders, it's quite mixed up of characters from all over the series(almost every game has a rep. on here...minus the japanese only games it seems...more people would know about them if they the games were over here in the states via a remake or something...*wink* *wink* )...this, I'm happy for! With a list like this, things could honestly go anywhere at this point(I gots more voting to do)!

Not gonna lie, was kinda doing a happy dance seeing this earlier! Seeing Lyn and Ike on there made me so happy(Lucina too, but for different reasons)! It makes my vote for Lyn feel so special! This honestly makes me wonder who the top 10 characters are! ...Still crossing my fingers for Elincia(RD) to be high up there(Jill too...maybe Mia)! Seeing Lyn that high almost immediately made me EXTREMELY curious to see who the top 10 are! It's anyone's game at this point! Also, I was quite surprised how many people were shocked to see Ike so buff in his Smash reveal...guess the amount of people who played RD is small(...can't blame them all things considered...good game...so pricey...)

While part of me is extremely surprised, a small part of me isn't because on Twitter I noticed a good amount of people voting for Lyn(myself included). However, that didn't change the fact I had a huge grin on my face(and did a little dance) to see the characters placed the way they are! I'm curious to see what the rest of the list is like(I'm expecting Jill honestly)!

New Engine. I doubt they'd use the 3DS one again. Kinda need to impress the people with them fancy, smancy additions! I personally just want some sort of return to how Radiant Dawn worked(because I kinda liked how certain things were in that game better, like skills ). I say probably not because I doubt people will pay $30+ just for that. Now to be fair, I personally like to play match maker in Fire Emblem, but that won't really be hindered since marriage has been a thing in the series since(and correct me if I'm wrong) FE4. Marriage is a part of the series, maybe not super important, but a way for you to make the lives of your army more happy! The whole "Waifu" thing came about due to the avatar. So honestly, No Avatars=No Waifus...mostly anyway. Even if it does stay in...they should tone it down a bit. As for the children...do it the way FE4 did it or bust. Awakening had the excuse of the children coming from the future, which worked and made sense plotwise and gameplay wise. In Fates, it's just shoehorned in and doesn't make a lot of sense(and also, pretty sure the time between each battle/chapter isn't 9 months...just saying). So yeah...either have a second generation part of the game like FE4 or don't put children units at all(or have some DLC thing that separates itself from the main game). One of the main things that helped these games was advertising). It got good advertising and a lot of it. It helped a greatly(Edit: that and Casual mode, almost forgot that...whoops ). While I can't exactly say how much, keep this in mind......(and also again, correct me if I'm wrong)Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn had next to no advertising, and even if it did, it wasn't much( I sure as heck didn't see it...and I watched a lot more TV as a kid). Those game sold pretty badly(I think the worst in the series in terms of the US...probably Japan too). For an example, I got lucky and saw PoR in my Gamestop because I didn't know PoR existed(I was just getting into FE a year or so ago, so it's understandable...I guess). For RD, I didn't even know it existed for a year or two before seeing it randomly online and saying "wait...there's a new FE game...and it's a PoR sequel?!"(Really sucks that I couldn't find a copy back then either...darn it all...) ...I always found it ironic, since(to me anyway), they're possibly the best games in the series...but they sold the worst in the series(ain't that some crap )!

Adding casual would honestly be the main thing that'll help it sell(most people though will get it regardless)! Actually, here's how I see(and hope for) it: Newcomers: Casual Mode Veterans: Add in Maniac Mode in PoR and for RD, actual supports(or just have the two supports systems work at the same time in different ways...somehow) and maybe add a few new endings for some characters(because maybe have some better endings and...well...pairings and all that...)

What would really seal the deal is if at least Ike and someone else from Tellius made it into the top 10. It would let them know that Ike isn't the only really liked character from the Tellius games and would probably make them think, "hmm, if people really like the characters from this game more then the more recent ones, then they would interested with the games they come from"(...yeah, I know I just pretty much stated what's already been said, just longer, but I just felt like saying it. ;P )! That's why half my list will be of Tellius characters(the other being Elibe because I really like those guys :3 )! Either a VC release or a remastering/remake(or whatever it's called that takes the base game and makes it better, with a few needed changes and/or additions. *Stares at RD*)!

This is interesting...Hopefully...this means more things are possible with the Switch...(Digital games linked to accounts maybe...hey, I can hope...)

I really hope it is...also, this got me thinking... If FE4 does get a remake over here...do you think the game will get a higher rating because, while I haven't gotten through the whole game yet, and to avoid spoilers...some of the things that happen in the game are rather..."mature"...and I doubt most people who love that game won't want it to be super censored out or anything. If they repolish that game, I can finally love it like I've always wanted too(because there are good stuff in it, but...that RNG is so screwy)! So...Fire Emblem Mega Collection then? I hope so too man, I want us all to have fun and enjoy it(and just Fire Emblem in-general)!

I really like the artstyle. It's still anime-ish, it's has a bit more of a realistic look kinda like the Tellius designs(which I LOVE because it gave everyone a bit more of a distinct look and helps them stand out more individually) and the color is toned down a bit. Everything isn't super colorful, but not super dark and/or bland. It's really good and I can't wait to see more of the game!

Tolvir, I can kinda see where you're coming from. I can't speak for everyone, but I'm just gonna say how I personally feel. None of these game are perfect, far from it. Every game has an issue in it somewhere, but some are more glaring then others. And I'm gonna be blunt...I'm not the biggest fan of Awakening's story, and Fates's story, while it had some moments, was pretty bad, but that's how I personally feel. I'm not gonna act like the older games had stories that were the leaders of story telling or something, but I felt like those stories were just a bit more refined(but I'm also not gonna act like the newer games don't have their flaws or were complete garbage either). Awakening's Story just needed to be fine tuned because it was pretty alright in general, but how somethings were executed screwed things up. Fates was just...bad. It had much potential, but it wasted ALOT of it! Now I will say, gameplay wise, they shine better there. Fates especially. Awakening had a system that, while good, was still a bit shaky(but it was their first attempt). Fates refined things more and made it much more enjoyable! Casual Mode I appreciate and respect because it's a way for others to get into Fire Emblem easier. I'll probably recommend Classic mode for an old school experience, but Casual mode is there if you want it. Phoenix mode, I'm not gonna lie, I was baffled by it at first, but since it's option, I just it be and left it alone(buuut I still feel like it takes some of the challenge away that FE is kinda known for). Avatars...Awakening I feel like it got it right. Robin felt like another member of the group and didn't completely have the spotlight. S/he had a personality and honestly, had a role that was very fitting for the player. A nice supporting role! Fates on the other hand...no. I personally feel like they screwed that up royally! I get Corrin is supposed to be the character that connects you to everyone else in the game. Problem is, s/he is the main spotlight for the story and, since s/he didn't have much of a personality and barely grows as a character, it makes the experience harder to enjoy. Corrin honestly made me want to not have Avatars in the games going forward. Can they work? Yes. But if they're like Corrin, I rather not. (However, if we DO get Avatars in FE15, just do better with them is all I ask.) Supports...having too many is not really the issue, it's the quality of said supports! I know not every support is gonna be fantastic, but at the same time, I feel like some supports don't help you find out more about a character or bring something really interesting to the table. Now, that's an issue that's ALWAYS been in this series, but it just feels more so in Fates. To bring up the older games, there was a limit to how many supports you could have on a current playthrough(it was x5), something I'm happy Awakening got rid of! However, characters who are kinda one note become more apparent(and if that one note of their is uninteresting, it can get annoying). And that brings up something that kinda make things a bit worse...everyone can support with everyone. More so for the point of everyone can get married. Again, Awakening I feel did that better. Even more so with the child units since they're from the future. Fates kinda messed up in this department, especially since the child units felt shoehorned in for the fact that Awakening successfully did it. I will say something on Fates behalf though. Most FE games having around 50 playable characters(a bit more if you count NPCs). Of course, the games before Awakening, characters could only support with a certain amount of people. Fates have around 70-80 characters...all who could support with each other(although the children are a bit of a special case since they could really support with their parents, other children, and the Avatar). That's 5,000+ conversation combinations! I feel like that affected some of the quality of the writing, which honestly make me want them to either have them support with only a certain amount of people(like before) or just avoid having too many characters going forward. I know the newer games get a bad rep for being a "waifu" similator and having fanservicey stuff in it...but it's an issue I have more with Fates because I felt like it had a bit too much with that(because I feel like characters like Camilla kinda suffer because of it. She actually a pretty cool character, but since most of her supports are pretty much "tell Corrin how much I love them" or being a little too...affectionate, or the game reminding me she of how she looks, I feel like her character gets dragged down tremendously. ) I personally do kinda worry for the series future. I don't think some of these new things added in are dooming it or anything, but I feel like they need to not lose what makes Fire Emblem special, just for the sake of attracting more people. That' s all I want really...I love this series too much... Also, just to be clear, while I may be saying a lot of "Fates this" or "Fates that", I don't hate it. It just messed alot of areas(But what it got right, it did it pretty darn well). In the end though, everyone is gonna have their own opinion on things. However, acting like the newer game are completely trash with no redeemable qualities is a no-no. (Hopefully I made sense in what I'm saying and got my point across properly. I will never say the newer games are pieces of garbage, but they still have issue I just can't ignore either. Also, and this is a side thing, but I want ALL the games to get love and attention! Not just the newer games, but also not just the older ones either. Each game has something that makes me love and enjoy this series so much! However, I also have my preferences, just like everyone else. There are some things in the older games I enjoy more then in the newer games, but that also goes vice versa as well. Honestly, just play what you like! But If something is wrong, something needs to be said so the games going forward are even better...but they need to be somewhat reasonable. ) OH, and as for Gaiden...I think it'll be fine!

Same Here! The artstyle Awakening and Fates had was alright, but the artstyles in the previous games were a bit more distinct to me(and made everyone seem different and stand out more from one another). I kinda set expectations high for Fates(which crashed, burned, and shriveled up when the game came out), so this time I'm going in with an open mind, but much lower expectations(...but I'm still hoping it's a good game! Any better then Fates is a plus in my books).

While some changes like Wendy to Gwendoly is pretty ok with me(its still has the Wendy part in it "Gwendolyn" ) and Marduk is alright(but Murduk kinda sounds cooler), Why the heck was Shin(FE6) changed to Sin? Why take out the "H"?

I second that. For a good example(gonna get some things spelled wrong so please forgive me), I forget the guy's name(it's the guy Rath worked for in Lyn's Story FE7), but he's pretty much was racist to Sacaeins and Lyn honestly didn't want anything to do with him after that(and wouldn't even ask or beg for any kind of help from him) and continued on to take on Lundrung herself. Probably another instance(not too sure, but...) when the army needs a boat to go to the Dread Isles, the only people available to do so is pirates, something she immediately shoots down and tries her best to find another way, but gives in to the idea of needing the pirates' help! I will say though, when it comes to Lyn, she has wisdom(level headedness) and boldness too(maybe a little bit protective). But I guess that can fit into her pride too!

Oh trust me...if you didn't like the avatar in Awakening, you're DEFINITELY not gonna like the ones in Fates! At least Robin had a freakin' personality! (...And I'm gonna stop myself there before I go on a Corrin rant again...) I hear that FE2 was a ambitious game, but didn't execute those ambitions very well(and kinda became a black sheep of the series). Hopefully the remake does what it was originally meant to be and then some! Also hoping that if this goes good, we could get more remakes! I'm also happy we're going back to the classic stuff because while I like what some of the new games did, I prefer what the older games had(and I want them to chill out a bit with whole "waifu" and "fanservicey" stuff because Fates did a bit too much with that stuff). FE for Switch. Finally happy FE is on a console again(it's a hybrid, but its more a console then a handheld to me). The potential of something big like Radiant Dawn is possible again! FE Warriors, let every game have at least 3 reps(but it have at least Lyn, Hector, Ike, Elincia, Micaiah, and Sothe) and we'll be good. DLC is would be nice too.
