  1. Brave Axe, Luna, DB Lbreaker gives her 31 wins and 6 draws against blue units. Emerald Axe, Moonbow, DB, Lbreaker gives her 30 wins and 7 draws against blue units. Brave Axe is a bit better in my opinion. With +Atk, she gets 36 wins and 1 draw. You can always sacrifice her to a better copy later.
  2. That is strange. It works fine now. When I loaded up the calculator earlier today, I switched Abel to Cordelia and gave her Brave Bow+, +Atk, no bane, Brave Bow+, Life and Death, Desperation, Luna, and HP to 26/36. Then I changed Alfonse to Cecelia and gave her +Spd, no bane, Triangle Adept, Quick Riposte, and Moonbow. Then I opened up a few more character tabs, and gave Takumi, Jeorge, and Klein similar builds and I was changing everyone's natures back and forth between +Atk and +Spd. When I switched back to Cordelia and changed Life and Death to Swift Sparrow, it did not work, and battle log just states that she got 4 attack, 4 speed, damage dealt, damage dealt, Cecilia counterattacks. Which is a little strange because Desperation should have made the log said damage dealt four times in row instead of just twice in row. Might be a mistake on my end where I forgot to readjust her HP when I was switching her natures, but I was pretty sure I checked her HP to make sure it was 26/36. I am trying to replicate what I did earlier right now, and if I see it again, I will take a screenshot of it. But so far, the calculator is working correctly.
  3. Sweet. I am only going to use three Hectors though, so if you do face it, it should not be too bad. Haha. I need the last slot to be filled with a bonus unit.
  4. Nice win there. I think I would have just given up if I saw that. After I am done with my triple Reinhardt defense team. I think I will try to make a triple Hector defense team. If those Hectors all had Ward Armor, would that have been more difficult for you?
  5. Ah. Sorry about that. I should have read a little further back into the conversation.
  6. @Tenzen12 and @MrSmokestack Luna is better than Draconic Aura in my opinion. They are the same if B!Cordelia and the enemy are both unmerged. But if unmerged B!Cordelia is facing against merged +10 enemies, Luna scores a few more kills than Draconic Aura. Against enemies with +Def, Luna will always get more kills. Against +HP they are both the same. I find Luna to be better than Draconic Aura in most scenarios. Enemies with low Defense will be killed with either Special; all Draconic Aura does is ensure overkill. Enemies with higher Defense is weaker to Luna than Draconic Aura. They perform identically if they are buffed with Hone and Fortify Cavalry. Unbuffed, Olwen [+Atk, -Res] does better.
  7. I do not think Swift Sparrow is working properly on the calculator. I am testing B!Cordelia with SS and Desp.(26/36HP) against +Spd Cecilia, but in the calculator, B!Cordelia is not attacking Cecilia four times consecutively. SS on the Legacy Version of the calculator works fine.
  8. I do not remember my first pull, but I do remember Hector being my first 5*. I was annoyed that he showed up at first because I was trying to go for Lyn. I did not realize how good he was until a little later when I did some research online. He was my crutch until I got better at the game and found even better units to use.
  9. When I used to use Hector in the Arena, Y!Tiki is the unit I dread to see the most. You can give her Moonbow/Luna, L&D/Swift Sparrow, and Sbreaker/Desp. I personally prefer Moonbow for its quicker activation, and if facing against slower melee enemies it will activate every battle if you do not already kill them in one hit. For Nowi, Lightning Breath, Moonbow, Fury, QR is the best. There is no reason not to use the best build just because another unit has it. Your team should rely primarily on one or two Player Phase glass cannons to deal damage. Enemy Phase units should only be used if you cannot find another Player Phase unit to cover your main glass cannons' weaknesses. Enemy Phase units should not have to worry about sustaining more than one or two battles because it is not their job to sweep the enemy team. Treat them as one use landmines rather than walls. As long as your team has a mix of Player and Enemy Phase units, you will be fine. I would not worry about Falchion users. They die easily to blue mages and I do not see them that often anymore. It is generally not a good idea to make Dragons face Falchion users, just as it is not a good idea to use sword units against lance units. @Lushen and @MrSmokestack You are right, I was wrong again. I checked the redeemable section and only normal Platinum Points are redeemable across all games. Game specific Platinum Points cannot be used between different games.
  10. I kept a 5* copy of him, but I sent all his 4* copies home for feathers. I got all the Brave Axes I need from Barst and I have enough Peris to pass down Threaten Def 3.
  11. Really? I thought you can. Edit: Yeah, I cannot. I just spent all my points on Stamina Potions, but they would not let me use my Gold Points.
  12. I think you can download Miitomo and Mario Run and play those games to get more Points to spend on Heroes. If you get all the achievements from those games as well, the only free way left to get more Points is to use a Nintendo device. You can also buy downloadable games on those devices and you will get Points too. Points from purchasing downloadable games do not expire, but other Points do, so be sure to redeem them for Stamina Potions or something. Edit: I just checked, Miitomo and Mario Run have daily/repeatable Missions, but they give very few points. And Mario Run is not free.
  13. I am leveling Cecilia today due to the SP bonus, and I noticed that Fortify Cavalry did not boost her Defense from 0 to 6. I thought it was weird at first until I realized I gave her L&D3. I think that buffs take into account of your "real" stats. So if your stat goes below 0 due to L&D or another skill, the game in general will treat the negative stat as 0, while the buffs remember what your "real" stats are and boost it from there. Is there another explanation for this? I think this was the First Stratum so enemies do not have panic ploy or anything else like that to mess with the stats. I am not sure where else to put this information, but this seems like the best place. I think many experienced players know this already, but since I cannot find any information on Serenes Forest or Google, I thought I should put this information up just for reference.
  14. Ah. I see. People need their waifus and husbandos. On the other hand, as long as it is not a limited character, you will eventually get the unit you want though. It is only a matter of time before they show up.
  15. Wow. I never realized the game gave us so many free Orbs. Even if a player is not playing optimally, 100 Orbs per month does not seem too hard to achieve. I am not sure why I keep seeing people complain about the lack of Orbs.
  16. 130 Orbs every month? I do not keep track of the free Orbs I get, but that seems too high. Off the top of my head, I can only think of: Four weeks of Arena Duels (Tier 20) give you 16. New Paralogue Maps and Quests gives you 12. Two new GHB events give you 6 (3 difficulties, 1 per difficulty). Daily Login Bonuses give you 4. Monthly Quests (for June) give you 21. That is like 59 orbs. And most players get less than that due to ranking lower in the arena or unable to perform Armor and Flier quests. I do not think Tempest Trials, new Story Maps, and other events combined will give you another 70 orbs. That is true. I did not notice it since I only looked at the top of my barracks.
  17. If you are completely F2P, those 21 orbs is about the equivalent of 5 characters vs 100% additional experience. You might not want to upgrade it to the max if you feel that you are low on orbs. If you are going to put money into this game every now and then, then upgrading it is completely worth it. 21 orbs is nothing. The only downside I can think of from upgrading is that it might make you level too fast and you will miss out on the extra SP from leveling slowly.
  18. Once sorted by level, it is then sorted by: Rarity (5, 4, 3, 2, 1) Color (Red, Blue, Green, Colorless) Weapon (Melee, Breath, Tome; Bow, Dagger, Staff) Movement (Infantry, Armor, Cavalry, Flier) Origin
  19. Yeah. It takes some getting used to. I used to think -HP was the best bane on everyone, until I used the calculator and it proved me otherwise.
  20. Depends on her skill set. Iceberg is better if Julia is going with Naga. Draconic Aura is only useful on Blades in my opinion. You can use the calculator to check.
  21. As a purely support unit, I treat her as a healer and she should not be on the front lines, except for engaging Hector when he is the last enemy. -Atk, +HP limits her losses the most when she is being initiated on by neutral vanilla characters. Giving her neutral Atk is not necessary if her job is not to fight.
  22. If you are using Olivia purely as a support unit, -Atk is the best. She can still kill Hector with [Ruby, Moonbow, Fury, Vantage] during Hector's second initiation. With that skill set, +HP limits her losses the most against neutral, vanilla units. If you prefer Olivia to be an offensive unit, she could have [+Atk, -Res, Brave, Luna, L&D, Breaker/Desp.], which will kill Hector unless he is on a defensive tile. You can also substitute L&D with Swift Sparrow to make her less fragile, but she may have trouble facing against other units with her slightly lower offensive stats.
  23. Maybe 100 virgin goats will do the trick. Or try sacrificing the volunteers in the control group.
