From a pure gameplay perspective? None. The Maps themselves are another source of EXP, so it's great if your doing a No Grind Birthright or Revelation run or are just playing Conquest in general. If you're really picky and don't want to do them all, I seem to remember Shephen posting the items some of the Paralogue's had somewhere... lemme try and find it. This is the Chapter I switched to Normal Mode on. It's not even because it was super difficult, more I just didn't have the time to make much (if any) progress last week if I had to keep restarting those first few turns over and over. It get's easier the further you go, the first few turns are quite a pain. I actually found Chapter 10 to be a fair bit harder and infinitely more annoying.

I have Mozu, Camilla, Beruka and Felicia left. I'm not entirely sure on my Endgame team, so I want to iron my Pairings out before I go any further. Go.

This topic applies to all 3 Routes and generally good Forges. I only mentioned Conauest because it's the next Route im playing.

Since I'm going to start Conquest soon and barely used the feature in Birthright, I'm just curious if anyone who has played any of the 3 Routes to completion had any recommendations on what to Forge.

Either "You smell like a goat!" from Mozu or "I'm gonna go Nohr on your butt!" from Scarlet.

Now that I've finished off all the Child Paralogues in Birthright, I can sincerely NOT recommend you do it around Chapter 24 (which is when I finished my last few). Seriously, 70% of the enemies in Mitama's Paralogue were either Berserkers or had a Crit Rate... With that said, I've organized the Birthright Paralogues as such; Save the NPC (Should probably complete early on, likely before Enemies start Promoting around Chapter 17 or 18) - Shiro, Selkie and Asugi (The first two are in legit danger after the first turn or two, so you don't want to do this with all Promoted Enemies. Asugi's is far easier while your stats are high enough to simply rush the Paralogue. Not easy with Level 14 Master Ninja's as enemies...) - Sophie, Hisame, Kana & Dwyer (While these feature the Children starting as NPC's, they are much easier to save, mainly due to their placement being far more manageable. Shout outs to the Faceless in Hisame's Paralogue though, their made of freaking Rock around Chapter 24) Standard Rout's - Mitama, Kiragi, Shigure, Rhajat, Midori & Caeldori (These Chapter's are pretty standard and are pretty much just there for EXP Grinding. However, Kiragi's can be pretty intimidating later on, since EVERY enemy is a Promoted Flier. Rhajat's can also be annoying late for the same reasons as Hisame's.) Hope this helps anyone curious.

After reading this, I'm really glad I married her in Birthright. The support itself is very nice and Scarlet as Kanas mom is adorable. Plus, she's an absolute monster statewise, almost Ryoma good... Minus the Raijinto of course.

If you take too long, Asugi can open a door that leads him to some enemies. I'm not entirely sure if they'll attack him (I restarted once I realized I was going too slow.), but I didn't want to risk it.

I was just curious what the ideal time to take on child Paralogues is? I'm on Chapter 24 in Birthright and am tackling the latter half of the ones I missed. I get the feeling I waited a little long (Kiragi"s Chapter is all promoted fliers and Asugi will get literally obliterated if he comes into contact with enemies). For my Conquest and Revelation runs (as well as later Birthright runs) I'm just wondering if their is a good order\time to do them in?

I made her a Dread Fighter right off the bat and she's been very good to me in Birthright.

I'm gonna be honest, Fates in general is quite a bit harder than I thought. Given that I have 5 shifts of work this week and college, I'm here to confess that I switched down to Normal/Classic. Chapter 12 is probably a lot harder when Xander and co actually move

Can I just mention how unpleasant Birthright Chapter 10 is on Hard? Like, it isn't even hard to figure out a strategy, it's just beyond annoying how you're almost exclusively fighting Ninja's and the only way to proceed is to basically crawl your way to the boss

I'm marrying Scarlet and am waiting it out until Amazon delivers my Birthright copy. I figure I should try and have some fun, so have at it.

I just know my Birthright is going to arrive at 7;59 PM tomorrow, based solely on Amazon's 'Will arrive by 8:00 P.M.'. I'm setting myself up for disappointment so I can (hopefully) be surprised.

Not at all. See, for some reason, Saizo has a pretty ridiculous Personal Magic Growth (it's higher than Odin's). In fact, his son's Personal Magic Growth is actually HIGHER than his Strength. Due to this, he can Pair Up pretty well with Magic characters, Orochi in particular because she also appreciates the Speed boost from the Ninja Pair Up. Toss Saizo an Explosive Shuriken and he'll be good to go.

Aside from not pairing Sakura and having Setsuna listed twice, it seems pretty solid. My recommendations would be; Saizo x Orochi Hayato x Sakura Kaden x Hinoka Takumi x Felicia (He likes the Speed Boost)

We're gonna crack this nut, don't you worry. Honestly, I'm still a little confused myself at which combination is the best for optimizing Revelation, while also recruiting every child. I'll take a look at your pairings you posted in a little bit and I'll give my input.
